Tams Noodle Bar & Thai Food in Shropshire

Wanted a Thai (needed!!) on my way back home after a week working away. Found this gem on Google maps. Big portions, fresh, fresh veggies. Absolutely banging!! Thankyou ladies, great job!

Phenomenon Thai - great service

Authentic Thai- so very tasty. They warned us when booking that they didn’t have a license, but that we could take our own drinks, which we did. Doesn’t look much (they warned us it wasn’t posh when we booked) but the food was fantastic.

Don't be scared by the spartan environment because the food is excellent! We had read good reviews but we were still favorably impressed by the quality and goodness of the food. Try it!!!

Found this place by chance, couldn’t have been happier. Food was incredible, kitchen immaculate (you can see the kitchen from the counter). I only ever leave reviews if my experience somewhere was truly deserving of praise… or criticism… This place is a gem. Would consider visiting Oswestry again purely for this place.

Was driving past Oswestry and came across this restaurant. Extremely authentic food ( I am Thai myself and I can confirm!) We ordered Kra Pao, Duck tamarind sauce, and Bangkok Fried rice. Very friendly staff and very reasonable price with generous proportion. There is also a cute little shopping area inside for groceries too. Thank you!

I travel to Thailand every year and this by far was the best Thai food I have eaten in the UK. Was just passing through the area but will definitely stop off and come back! Delicious, authentic and very fair price.

Had the garlic and pepper beef stir fry with some home made chilli oil. Was lush and portions were enough to take a small bit home.

The best Thai restaurant! Friendly people, and the food is delicous. Good portion sizes, and so reasonably priced. Found my new favourite drink too - Lychee Mogu Mogu. Would definitely recommend, and will be back. 🙂

As authentic as it could be! Love the ladies and love the food. We just came back from living in Thailand and were missing the bussin food from there. Good thing Tams exists. Portions are biiiig! ❤️ Will be back.

What to say!! Well the food is lovely always done from scratch, Very welcoming staff that are polite and friendly, It's small but nice atmosphere, You also can take away and ring a head for it to be ready for you if you're on the go,

In terms of price x quality, this is the best place around. There are places with cheaper food that wont be as nice and there will be places with better food that will be more expensive. Everytime I go to Oswestry I get food here. Today I ordered noodles to go and then drove home for 50 minutes to find that the food was still piping hot (seriously, the outer noodles were fine but I had to let half of it cool down).

Absolutely love this place. Food is always amazing, can’t fault it in the slightest. Fast service too. I’ve eaten in and had take out from this place and it’s always amazing. Definitely recommend.

What a great little find this place is, it's an "eat in" & take away & shop. Yes, it even has a small shop selling Thai goods including pastes, noodles etc. Fairly basic in terms of seating with no toilets, but if you fancy a quick noodle lunch this place is 5 star cuisine! Excellent food, well presented & at a reasonable price. I will definitley be back to sample more off the menu.

Always delicious - love the Pad Thai and Satay ❤️ They also stock a great range of foods to buy for your own recipes at home, including various rices, pickles, fish and pastes.

Tams noodle bar is fantastic. Such a fun and welcoming atmosphere, the staff are beyond excellent and hospitable. Had to stop in during my visit from Canada as my brother said I had to try the Salt and Pepper ribs, and man they did not disappoint! They were heaven on a plate, I could eat those every day. Thanks for a lovely lunch Apple and the Tams team!

Brilliant little place that does take-aways and also has a few tables for informal eating in. The Thai curries are as good as any I've had anywhere, service is friendly and the prices are reasonable.

My family and I had a fantastic experience at the Tam's in Oswestry! We were blown away by the authentic flavors and expertly prepared dishes. This place looks like a little cafe..but it's rating made us try it..we weren't disappointed..our noodles were absolutely fab..we ate in, they were polite, humble, food cooked perfect..we will definitely go again when in Oswestry, thank you!!

Staff are so friendly, the food is great. I also love that you can get authentic cooking ingredients, I've visited Thailand before and fell in love with some of the instant noodles and snacks and was happy to see tams offer them.

We had Singapore noodles with tofu and vegetables. The guy serving is honestly the best person, super friendly and helpful. I Asked if they did vegan options and he said yes, and then suggested items from the menu, and helped me with ordering. The food was incredible, best tofu I've ever had. We will definitely be back, highly recommend Tam's Noodle Bar.

Lovely staff and great food. Never disappointed. Really good portion sizes and good value for money. Love the mini Asian supermarket too, have loads of choice.

Really tasty noms and there's a shop in the restaurant if you need to buy any ingredients. A selection of starters for 2, 2 large dishes, 2 drinks, and a large bottle of oyster sauce came to £30. Would happily go back 😁

Honestly the nicest food on earth, we have been here so many times to eat, it's tasty, consistent and so reasonably priced never had a bad meal here, when our caravan site is shut we even travel from Stafford just for a tams x

Tam's is our No 1 Go To place for a cheeky takeaway! Great range of tasty food and reasonably priced. The 'large' option is a lot, too much for me, small is plenty. As well as the takeaway there is a small shop with an interesting range of Asian foods.

As always Tams delivers some of the most delicious Thai food we've ever had! Service is always so quick and the portion sizes are fabulous. We are even more excited as now there are eight vegan options on the menu, so more for us to try!

Tasty and cheap no loos and its 50% shop rather than resturant good choice with noodles done many ways and for thr price you can not complain and large portions too. Recommend for quick eats.

Put off trying this for ages, what a mistake! Epic food, very quick and not at all expensive. We now go every week! If you can't decide then go for number 3 or 8 and you won't be disappointed. EDIT. The last few times here we have noticed the food has gone very greasy compared to how it was, not as good anymore really. Go to King's or Try Thai in Wrexham if you want the best - it's worth it.
