Locomotive Inn in Stoke-on-Trent

This was our first visit to the Locomotive Inn and came to the pub as The Magnetic Jellyfish were playing there. I have got to say that this pub is really friendly and the staff were great, we will definately come back to this pub.

Decent public house serving good beers at reasonable prices. Gets full before and after Stoke games. Friendly staff.

Lovely beer tonight the pedigree is delicious and Rob friendly as normal, good football on tv, will be back next week for more good beer and banter.

What a fantastic little pub very friendly bar staff was superb nothing to much trouble and dog friendly so you can bring your dog's in with you and was lovely and clean think the cleaners have done a fantastic job of keeping the pub clean which is good because that is the first thing people notice a clean pub and some great beers on at the moment too I well definitely call again and have some live music on which is good thank you again for your lovely welcoming

Lovely pub with a 2 seating areas and a games area, staff and other customers all friendly and prices were reasonable

Comfortable and friendly pub which helps to destress from normality. I am not one of the regulars but always feel welcome.

Brilliant little local boozer. Good choice of beers and spirits. Brilliant live music venue when they have live entertainment on at weekends. Bar staff are always happy and cheerful. I would high recommend this little boozer you'll always be made to feel welcome

My local pub. Absolutely brilliant time always had when in there. Saturday entertainment is brilliant when they have top class bands on. Quizzes on a Thursday are a must. Plenty of choice for beers and spirits. Bar staff are so friendly and helpful. Banter you have with big Rob is priceless. His customer service skills are out of this world 😂😂 I highly recommend the pub

Fantastic local pub. I always call in for a few pints when I'm passing. Loads of telly to watch all sorts of sports TNT Sky Sports etc. Pub is spotlessly clean and the bar staff are always happy and chatty. Rob the manager is a top man always happy and up for a good laugh. I highly recommend the Locomotive Inn

Good locals pub. Good pint of Pedigree.

Popped in before the football match. I did put my away supporters scarf away just in case it rubbed anyone the wrong way, but people seemed friendly and I had a good couple of pints of Pedigree and watched some of the darts on a giant screen.

Fantastic atmosphere, family friendly, dog friendly. Great staff really friendly and accommodating. We have been frequenting for some years now always busy with a great attitude.

I've always tried to see the best in places, rather than the worst, but Stoke has always been problematic, until now. It turns out that the locals are just like you and I, Jonathan Gullies aside, and the trick is to park the wrong side of enemy lines, and just walk into a very local pub, and brazenly pretend that you belong there, even though everyone there knows that you don't... What happens is that friendly staff serve you beer much cheaper than standing outside that Harvester outside the ground, and you get a Staffordshire welcome thrown in for free!.. Wish I'd found this place years ago

Great friendly local pub with a good atmosphere at all times. Different entertainment on over the weekends. Free pool on a Tuesday and Quiz night Wednesday or Thursday??. Good beer and the occasional guest Ale. Does not serve food.

Didn’t spend long in here walked in and literally couldn’t move at all it was madness

Great town pub under new management, all beer's are excellent and reasonably priced, very charity focused with good live music at the weekend, if you are a Stoke city football fan, within walking distance of the ground, well worth a visit.

Cracking pub. Most importantly - always good beer. Great service from friendly staff. The only downside, and this is more Marstons fault rather than the managements, is there have been several price increases over the past few months. I’d love to visit more often, but the price increases have turned ‘popping to the pub’ to more of a treat than something we’d like to do regularly. That said the Loco is a great place for a chat and some of the best pints in Stoke.

Best local you could ask for. I'm from Wales myself and the people that own this pub are genuinely nice people and very welcoming

Great people really friendly and a great environment! They have entertainment on Saturdays but not on a Stoke home game. They have quizzes on Thursday nights and play your cards right as well after quiz.

Been a few times since the owners took over, great entertainment and atmosphere!! Also great selection of drinks would recommend a visit 100%. Won't be long til l I'm back again

Fantastic local pub, regular entertainment from weekly quiz and disco to live entertainment. Pub has a juke box, pool table and dart boards. Children and dogs welcome too.

Enjoyable pub to visit on match day, can get a little crowded. Does allow away fans and only 10 minutes walk to ground.

On visiting the Locomotive on several occasions I’ve found the Landord and Landlady to be very friendly and are putting on Music quizzes etc. Great for me with two real ales. Great atmosphere. Thanks Andy and Nikki

Lovely pub. Play pool,have a great pint served by the lovely host or his fab bar staff or just go for a nice pint while sitting by the big real fire that's always roaring during day and night. X

First time I had called in this pub. A relative had moved in nearby and thought would call in for a pint or three. Everybody, staff and locals were all very welcoming and friendly as soon as I walked through the door...just how a pub should be. Will definitely call again asap when in the area again

Friendly landlord good beer 10/10,

Match day so very busy. Customer service could be better, a little disorganised, serving folk out of turn. It was very busy as stated, but the bar staff should not allow customers to prop up the bar, this will them improve speed of service and enable the staff to focus on the customer

First time ever in the pub and also last time ever in the pub. Called in on my way home after a visit to a stoke friendly match v wolves. Just called in for a first pint of the day. There was only one choice of beer all the others were off. The barman was a little abusive so I had the one pint and left.
