Terrific little cafe in church street, Ledbury. No free tables outside however we did manage to secure a table indoors. The weather was beautiful hence the restaurant being busy. Staff all very pleasant on our visit. The food was utterly scrumptious and the coffee delicious too. Very clean toilet facilities upstairs also. Nice that it’s dog friendly too, which was a blessing when we visited.

We were lucky enough to get a table on Friday and Saturday despite the cafe being very busy - and despite having to wait for a table it was well worth it. Without doubt the best place to eat in Ledbury ! The red pepper soup was divine. The Scones with clotted cream were delicious as was the bara brith and the vegan meze… all beautifully presented and outstanding value. The staff were also very attentive and friendly - gold stars to everyone ( but especially George) for making leisurely lunches the highlight of our stay.

Vist yesterday with a friend for coffee and cake. When asked, the waitress recommended the chocolate fudge cake as it was her favourite. So I had and it was stunning. Friend had the treacle tart which she raved about. Gorgeous setting and outside areas lovely in the afternoon sun. Dog friendly. Very clean. The service was top notch and all the staff we interacted with were impeccable.

We visited yesterday afternoon and spent a lovely hour or so in the Malthouse. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and chatted to us every time they passed. We had tea and cake and there were three different options for gluten and dairy free cakes - I've never had so many options as a person who can have neither wheat or milk!! The loose leaf tea is delivered in lovely teapots and was very tasty. The kids had huuugge hot chocolates with plenty of cream and marshmallows. Such a cosy place and a lovely place for a few games of cards while we drank our tea and ate cakes! Thank you 🥰

Recommended by a local shopkeeper. What a find. Full when we arrived but we were able to reserve a table for 45 minutes later. Worth making the reservation as the food was fabulous, set menu and blackboard specials. We had the pea and courgette fritters with a salad and mint yogurt garnish from the specials, absolutely delicious. Wonderful selection of cakes too. Beautiful setting in the courtyard which is covered and has heaters and blankets too. Seating inside too. Definitely worth finding and if possible reserve a table. Staff excellent too.

It’s such an interesting cosy cafe / gallery& antique shop, based in such a historic & characterful building and it was lovely sharing this experience with visiting family from abroad. There was a great option on the menu from light to super filling dishes and I was thrilled to be served real tea - made with loose leaf tea and not tea bags! - tasted lovely and enjoyed every drop - uplifted their green credentials in my view. Staff were so polite, friendly, welcoming and attentive and a credit to the business. My compliments to the baker Peter Cook. I understand now why one has to book ahead as it’s so popular. I will definitely be booking this cafe as my preferred destination whenever I visit Ledbury and soon. Thankyou very much for a lovely brunch. Mary & David Kennedy, Monmouth

Top notch place to spend an hour or so, drinking, eating and taking in the scenes within. We sat at a large table upstairs and had a good mooch around the various items for sale whilst we waited for our food. The food was lovely, poached eggs on Peter Cooks bread and spiced cauliflower toasted sandwich. Delicious food and drink with service which was super friendly and spot on. Thoroughly recommend this place, which is just off the beaten track in the town.

My pancakes and bacon were pretty damned good. My wifes poached eggs and mushrooms atouch cools but that could have been asm much to do with sitting outside on a February morning. Coffee good and my wife's tea excellent. Not the cheapest breakfast... you won't get a standard fry up but what you will get are some less common options and good qaulity ingredients served by nice people

The Inn was a great place to stay as a base for our visit to Oldfield Forge. Garway is very remote & consists of little more than the Inn, a church, a village shop & a primary school, so check-in was quite late to coincide with village life opening hours. The Inn is a lovely combination of rustic & modern. We stayed in "Sun" which was really spacious, warm & comfortable, & felt like a mini apartment rather than just a room. The proprietors were welcoming & friendly hosts. Breakfast was good quality - being a city girl, I forgot that being a vegetarian is a dietary requirement & didn't notify ahead of time, so the full English was not so full. Evening meals were also good quality pub grub - there are veggie/vegan options on the menu, but choice is more limited than for omnivores. There isn't anywhere else to eat out in the village.

unfortunately the food we ordered was cold, I appreciate the driver had difficulty finding address but I'm afraid we were disappointed for the first time since using the service.

As always, the food was fantastic, along with great service and explanation of the wine for each dish on every course. We will definitely be returning again, as we believe this to be the best restaurant in the area.

THis is a lovely little bakery and coffee shop. The chelsea bun I had was the best I have ever eaten. my husband had the bakewell tart and he found his a little dry for his taste but it hasn't put us off as he said there was plenty else there for him to try. The coffee was lovely and the service and prices were excellent
