Visited for my husband’s birthday, accompanied by our dog. We had a drink in the bar as the table was apparently not available until 7 in the Russell room, which is where people with dogs are banished to; a room not unlike a 1980’s conference suite. The staff in the bar area were lovely and service was great. Went downhill after that. The Grill looked welcoming and vibrant, the Russell Room is not. Not sure why we had to wait until 7 as it was empty apart from one other couple. Would have been happier eating in the bar area and not feel like we were being punished for bringing our dog, which I appreciate not everyone is a fan of. Husband’s food was excellent apparently; lamb shanks. My was awful; gnocchi. Approximately 10 dry, obviously burnt and completely devoid of any flavour balls of nothingness in a bland, tasteless sauce. Not sure how it got sent out. Had it removed from the bill at the end and was not asked how the food was at any point after it had been delivered. Overall, an extremely expensive and overrated place to eat and drink.

Very disappointed, belly pork meal was very small and cold .Fish and chips also very small .Will not be eatting there again .

Well done to Toby what a pleasant lad nothing too much trouble . Friendly kind caring manner from two ladies very much in need of a smile a bit of banter and lovely food . We will definitely return 😌

I’m generally not one to leave bad feedback, but the food was beyond terrible, I’m sorry😩 the curry was a tasteless, almost chemically taste, with slimy rubbery pieces of “chicken” (texture resembled more like Squid if you ask me, squelchy as you bite into it) I squeezed a chicken ball in my hand as a joke and the grease that poured from my hand was grotesque. The only thing realistically edible was the boiled rice and how hard is it really to cook a pan of plain rice 🤷🏼‍♂️ chips were okay too but again, potato, chip pan, not hard. Service and atmosphere were absolutely fine, polite etc. but food? Diabolical😷 All we’ve done for over a week since is periodically talk about how bad it was 🤦🏼‍♂️😅

We went to the lambing live event. The animals are undercover and the farmers are in and out every so often, no issues with welfare whatsoever. I would have thought that the farm would have set some seating up so that people are comfortable whilst waiting for the ewes to lamb. There are 20 animals due so the likelihood of actually seeing a birth is pretty slim, really. I feel like the event is a bit over- stated. The animal paddocks were closed so we couldn’t look around them unfortunately. Just a bit overpriced. The ice cream was delicious and they don’t do a bad coffee, but again, quite expensive.

Nice place and always has a busy feel about the place, Although the counter service is slow. Tables need a wipe over more often and tables need to cleaned more. Staff seem more bothered in chatting than tending to dirty tables.

Great service I recommend the Cypriot pizza

We ate in the garden as had two dogs. It was completely neglected uneven dangerous steps unkempt. The ladies toilets were terrible. We had two ploughman's lunches which were good on the on the pluus side. The staff are unfriendly and curt.

1st time using Panda and on last nights showing won't be our last. Collected and food was ready on time. Food was plentiful and flavoursome, also hot. Prices were great. Really enjoyed our meal. Keep it up Panda.

Staff need training. Went in for a saver sub as advertised woman just piled on for my son then instead of the £4.39 charged £8.90. Has no idea of customer service or of discounts available in store. Male behind the counter had more of an idea think she needs to find another job

Our server Charlotte B was amazing, her commitment to customer service was exceptional. The Sunday dinner was great and really good value, would thoroughly recommend.

We went here because our son was staying at the Premier Inn next door. The food is what you would expect from a Beefeater: nothing flash, just ordinary pub grub. It was hot and well cooked nevertheless. The service was excellent throughout the pub. All the staff were courteous and helpful. I eat out a lot, usually in much flasher places, and I rarely encounter service so good. Without exception, staff members were a credit to the place. A special mention to Jay who did the bulk of our serving, but everyone was excellent.

New menu! Some interesting dishes to try! That said I miss the smoked duck and the cheese soufflé! Very good service from Val, Khalena, Sandor. Food prep from Luke and the kitchen brigade; the asparagus salad was really a potato salad (hardly any asparagus!). Let’s hope it’s an improvement next week!
