Nice old pub but we went into the bar but the restaurant. Food ok, nothing special.

Food was horrible.. Ordered the Cottage pie and was burnt underneath around edges and tasted cheap and horrible had to swap with my husband for his burger which again tasted cheap. Wouldn't eat here again but is a lovely for a drink as the views are nice over the lake/ pond. Nice play area for kiddies

Great place to eat, staff all friendly and service was quick, not overly busy in the evenings. Children's play area was great for kids. We actually stayed there in our caravans and tents as a group.

Great atmosphere, The food was slammed down onto the table so that woke us up! haha. Nice food but a tad over priced for what you get as there wasnt any sald with my mixed grill just meat and overcooked onion rings. Its always very busy so that's a good sign. I will return 😄

Always love a visit to the Honey Bee with great food and a friendly, helpful service you can't go wrong. The location is beautiful and surrounded by fields with a lake at rear ample carparking and a nice playground for younger visitors. Food is reasonably priced anyway, but they also do meal offers that can save even more. All in all, it is a lovely pub seving great food and drink.

Lovely quiet pub . Food tasted good. Staff were friendly and helpful. The service was excellent food arrived within 10mins from ordering price was also reasonable. Would go there again 🤔yes we will visit again. Happy customer, thank you, guys. Keep up the good work 👏 .

Upon arrival we were shown to our table but it was dirty and needed cleaning. We were asked to get a drink from the bar while the table was prepared but nobody came to tell us when the table was ready. We had pre booked earlier in the day. I ordered the mixed grill and my partner ordered a hunters chicken. I wanted to swap the liver for a fried egg on the mixed grill but was told it wouldn't be possible as it all came in a pre pack. The steak I had was very rare but I'd asked for it to be cooked medium, the chips and peas were cold and so were our extra onion rings. My partners chicken was really dry and over cooked and again the peas and chips were cold. It was all just very unappealing. Luckily our food waste went to a couples dog who was wandering round looking for snacks. The only good thing was the cider as even the wine was warm.

I really shouldn't be coming out of a pub wishing I'd taken a photo of chicken wings to warn people. It's not the right vibe for an evening. I made the mistake of thinking I would order something different at this pub other than fish and chips and went for the '3 for £12' 'Tapas'. For the chicken wing dish, I can only assume the chicken that provided the wings was a five day old chick that was scavenged out of a bin that was due for landfill. When you realise you've been charged four quid for some chicken scraps it puts a whole different slant on the evening that goes beyond disappointment into pity for the establishment. Even though it's cheap, it doesn't mean its good value. Microwaved crap and food that sits under lights for ages is not what I go out for.

Love coming here with the family especially in the summer where the kids can play

Well where do i start staff talking on phones .honey bee needs refurb place dirty furniture old and broken staffs clothing looks dirty jeans ,leggings old shirts not what i would rxpect from a public house not what it used to be like what has happend to this place sorry but not a place to bring your family or friends

10 oz rump steak was one of the best I've ever had. Beautifully cooked and tasted superb. All in all a very successful visit for mother's day.

Food was average but service was terrible. Starters just dropped on the table for us to sort ourselves. Drinks were dumped too and 2 bottles with no glasses we had to collect them ourselves. Not the best today unfortunately, I won’t rush back. It was busy but that doesn't mean service can be poor. We were then told they needed our table in 10 minutes but we were still waiting for our desserts. Felt like we had to rush them then for the next people. Desserts came out 1 at a time 🙈 took 10 mins for all 6 of us to receive them.

A bit of a wait to get served, the food was just fine, although a little too much. I'm happy, would definitely go again.

Food was outstanding. Highly recommend the braised beef dish. Staff were very helpful. Was quite disappointed with the tired and awful decor but was more than happy with our experience. I imagine this would be a beautiful place to visit in the spring / summer

Went for family meal 4 adults 3 kids Me and son had the mixed grill absolutely terrible all meat with exception to the sausage was taken home to the dog so disappointed

My chicken skewer was OK. My friend had a huge steak which looked much nicer! The chicken nothing special: my husband’s fish and chips was nice m. Cheap and cheerful and better than Spoons.

First time I visited was last Saturday lunchtime and even tho it was very busy with most tables full, the service was so quick, drinks and food came so quickly via ordering on the app. The food was very nice and great price for the kids meal as my little one is only 1.5 who just snacks at food, visited again today as we loved the food. The staff are very polite and the food was amazing. recommend the tutor tower burger 👌

Visted for lunch on a Saturday. Ordered at the bar and food was quick and very reasonably priced. £22 for 2 lunches and one pint of ale and a coke.

Went for the first time today after a recommendation. The food was amazing. Had the gammon which truly was the best I have ever eaten and I have had gammon in lots of places. Nicely set out. Food was served very quickly. Staff were attentive and very polite. Also has a great child's play area! Highly recommend to anyone.

I had the lamb and my husband had a steak, lovely meals, it was a little quiet in there was the 17th December (my birthday) so expected a bigger crowd but to be honest it suited me as it was more of a relaxed setting. Food and drinks were great and staff were all very pleasant and nice. Yhe fire was on and it was lovely and warm!! My husband said we are definitely going back as he had never been before.

This is a frequent go-to with my family and family. The food is great and reasonably priced. See you soon!

Food has previously been much better than this experience, a group of 10 of us had food and I think 8 of of the 10 were unimpressed by the quality of food. However that said the service was fantastic and the waitresses were very polite and professional

Nice location, lovely and quiet. The pub looks run down and dirty in places. Food wasn't that great, I wouldn't go back.

Went with family for a night out. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. They were all lovely to chat too and you don’t get rushed. Service is fast. The young lady on the bar was more than happy to deal with our food request. Joys of having an autistic brother. Will only have one waitress to run food to our table regularly. Attitude when asked for garlic bread for grunted at but both parties laughed it off. Thanks to Nic and Steve for keeping the place in check. Gutted you’ve stopped doing Kronenburg.

Great place love it here. Only one person was not very interested in her job today which was disappointing as I felt like l was not important enough to be served. 😥 However all the other staff were great. Food was lovely and plentiful the atmosphere was warm and comfortable.

Been a few times now and food gets worse each time. Always missing items on meals and low quality food products. Staff and management very dismissive and quick to pass the blame on to other team members. Wouldn't recommend for more then a drink in the summer.

Don't even know where to start.. drinks wasn't even asked if wanted ice and the glass has 1/3 full.. the chips tasted re heated and cold the stake was ment to be medium rear and was well done. My partners chicken was very rubbery and no taste the peas and mushrooms were still cold. My sons steak was well done but was almost cremated.. when asked how the good as explained and asked if could just get us a drink or anither side I would gove 0 out of 10

Visited here recently after finding the menu on google. The menu is massive and very promising. However we visited on a quiet afternoon, maybe 1 other table. My Nan enjoyed her food the perfect size portion for her small appetite, however me and another guest shared some starters and were very disappointed. Salt and pepper chicken was just plain fried chicken, Brie bites were still cold and not melted in the middle, meat balls lukewarm. Seemed like very little effort was put in given how quiet it was. Staff were also sat down at a table near the bar for most of our stay and were more interested in chatting to each other than checking how our food was, or helping others. Lad behind the bar was very attentive he, took our order, made our drink and ran the food out. Despite all of this I hope to return and try again, hopefully just a one off bad experience

A lovely time at the honey bee. Portions were a little hard to gauge from the menu but the food was cooked well and very tasty. This time I had the Mexican chicken which was really good. Followed by a toffee Sunday. Price seems good for the amount of food. Drink choice is great too, recommend the snake oil beer.

The girl that served us at the bar was really rude and had face like thunder, we asked another waiter a question regarding the food, his response 'i'm just a waiter not a chef', his response should have been 'i'm not sure but I can find out'. No music in the background and lights were on full leading to lack of atmosphere. We were also led to believe dogs weren't allowed and a customer walked in with dogs. Food was nice but due to the whole experience we won't be returning

I haven’t been to the honey bee for few years but on my return I realised why the food has gone down hill drastically it used to be really good for food but now just disappointing first my pint was just rank flat and had the taste of dirty pipes then my food I had the king Henry steak cooked medium there was just no love on my plate the steak was very stringy and chewy they reaaly need to use butter and garlic to cook there steak to add the flavour it was lacking and the chips was very poor to over cooked all in all I’d rate this place a 2 out of 10 I probably would not ever return either such a shame as I used to come here a lot when it used to be good about 10 years ago

I wouldn’t come here again if it was the last restaurant on the planet. We’ve given it a wide birth for some time. It improved and we came back a couple of times. Today was shocking. I ordered a children’s Mac and cheese and it was so dry, tasteless and just looked dreadful. That went back, the staff literally couldn’t careless either! Then my husbands ‘go large lasagne’ came. That was actually somewhat worse than the mac and cheese. I literally do not know how that was physically possible, but it was awful. You could pick up the corner of the lasagne and the whole lot would come with it. The layers of pasta were that hard there was no way it could be eaten. I would not give this food to animals. I think even the food bank would reject this. I wouldn’t even consider returning to this dive. The only best thing about this place is the exit out of it. Seriously do not bother to waste your hard earned cash on this place. Only blessing is we were refunded.

We’ve been coming here for many years and we’ve always had a great meal but tonight was awful. The worst meal we’ve ever had and the place was filthy. You walk on the carpet and you stuck to it. The toilets were vile not fit for purpose. There was a nest of nats or what ever they were in the corner of the the ceiling. The food looked like it had been thrown together. It’s not wheel chair friendly at all. I don’t know what’s happened to this place but I just hope they get back to the way they were. Very dissatisfied.

Overall a very good experience, we have been many times (Derby branch is perhaps the worst), unfortunately the prices have gone up considerably and the famous Murphy T bone wasn't available at the time of visit. The kids meal portion size was excellent but the burger was a bit dry.

Been coming here for many years. Great food at reasonable prices with good sized portions. The staff are all friendly. In Summer we like to sit out back and eat outside watching people fish at their pool. They also have a light bites menu till 5pm most days too. Highly recommended.

Rump steak excellent, great value, worth visiting. Busy Sunday, early evening, lovely views from our table. Staff were attentive, nothing too much trouble. We will be back again, in fact this is our 2nd visit.

Haven't been for a little while, but have to say it was even better than I remember. Food was 1st class and cooked to perfection. The bar man was professional and made us feel very welcome. All in all a great experience and highly recommended

First time visiting in a while.. Firstly menu and venue looked fantastic so the enticement was there. Looking forward to the food the starters came and things looked good. These were fresh and tasty. Best part of the experience by far. Mains were a different story. Mixed grill ordered here. Temperature of the food was luke warm at best but the kicker is most of the meat was dryer than Ghandis flipflop. Not even a sauce could have saved it. Gammon was burnt and peas undercooked, how do you even undercooked peas! These again really dry. The amount of chips for both myself and my partner was dire, with less than a cones worth. No call back from the server either to highlight concerns mean that the meal was very disappointing. Shame as the majority of reviews are very positive but this was one of the worst meals I've had in some time. For the price certainly not worth it.

Location, menu, all great, decor inside needs a refresh, glasses hanging overhead bar covered in water marks and shelves looked dirty. Nobody on the floor or bar to welcome us in so we just found our own table, then I headed to the bar and waited over 5 mins for someone to come take my order and payment. No apology for the wait and not even a thank you when payment was taken. My food was ok however portion size was fairly small for a large portion stated on menu. Staff looked miserable and not one member of the team came to check on us. No thank you while we left nothing. As a first time customer I doubt I'll be back after this experience.

been here a few times with my dad. the place is big and airy and overall just nice to be at. had a wonderful server who i think is called robyn she is incredibly nice

Food was extremely poor, atmosphere was poor due to kids running around screaming throughout meal (which was not pub's fault) and staff seemed pretty miserable to say the least. Won't be returning anytime soon

My first visit to this bub place is nice staff were pleasant but had a steak ordered it medium and came out rare I sent it back and was sent back to me cooked more with cold jacket potato I had half eaten unfortunately it could have been quality of the steak it was tough but no one came to see if my meal was ok as I work as grill chef myself I know steaks can not always be good and can get complaints but it would have been nice to have had someone to speak to my visit was 12 August 3pm regards sharon fowkes .

The best pub / restaurant in Worcester. The staff are wonderful, very attentive, polite and caring. Always putting customers needs first and even going the extra mile to give the best experience. The service is quick, rarely ever a long wait and usually very quiet so a very peaceful visit. Cheap food and drinks. Definitely reccomend! My favourite dish here is mostly the gammon with eggs. It's just always cooked to perfection. Plenty of seating available. You can book in advance, but most of the time I just walk in and sit down. You can book party rooms to which is great! Easily accessible toilets. Plenty of outdoor seating and a children's play area. Also nice views around it such as the little lake at the bottom to take a nice walk afterwards. Great value for money

Ordered steak we couldn't eat, took it home for the dog. Waited 30 mins for our desert. Toilets disgusting, dread to think what the kitchen's were like if they can't keep the toilets clean. Waiting staff were lovely.

Very disappointing, visited on a Saturday afternoon to find all the ales were unavailable by pump or bottle, only John Smith's. Guinness was available and well kept, but then I ordered a medium sirloin which came out rare and couldn't eat it. The staff are the saving grace, friendly and efficient.

Not been for ages, but told they had a good light bite menu - and they did! The lower price "puddings" for smaller eaters were a bonus. Prompt service, good food and a nice Fort (outside) for the kids - great! We'll be back!
