We have visited Toast on many occasions unfortunately this will be the last. There has been a change. Toast used to be in a building next to "The Flyford" and used an old American School Bus for people who wanted to dine in there. It has now been incorporated into the pub itself although still keeping the identity of "Toast" it has lost a lot of its original charm. There always used to be a pleasant greeting from the girls in the old place but now there was not a smile among any of the new staff. We were 5 minutes early that meant we had to wait in the pub area. Not a problem. Then we were shown to our table and placed our order. I always have the full breakfast and my wife the veggie option, I ordered an extra fried egg as I usually do. When it arrived the eggs looked perfect however they were both solid and my wife's was also solid. The bacon used to be good back bacon but today it was tasteless streaky, the sausage was good but the mushrooms were over cooked and black. I had two of the smallest pieces of toast ever seen, I suppose some one has to have the first and last slices of a bloomer. When we had finished we were asked how the meal was and i remarked that the eggs were all hard. Our waiter said he would inform the chef. No need really the Chef would have already known, the eggs must have been pre-cooked and kept warm which would have made them look perfect but be solid. If a Chef cant cook a fried egg the they don't deserve to be called a Chef. The Chef at Toast would be better suited to a Motorway Service Station and as such we will find somewhere that can cook eggs freshly in future.

Wonderful pub. The management are full of ideas. There is "Toast" a brilliant breakfast venue. Then various vans on different days of the week park neatly on the car park and provide pizzas and Indian street food. The restaurant provides an excellent menu especially the fish. The staff are attentive and very polite. I can't recommend The Flyford Inn enough

OMG, I wish I had found this gem sooner, from the lively warm welcome, fantastic happy staff, to the exciting, quality of food. Highly recommend the Rump, chargrilled, melt in the mouth. Best steak ever. We had 12 in our grill up, with all different choices and not one complaint from any of us n any of it. We understand it’s changing hands next month, and as long as the staff keep on the same staff including chef and the same suppliers for quality of food, rather than cutting corners they will go far, very busy pub, but you could tell everyone was enjoying it as customers were all pleasant too. Must return especially in summer as it has a wonderful dinning area in the conservatory. We will return, watch this space to see if new owners keep up the standard.

I went here with my wife and daugther last weekend. We had a few soft rinks and food consisting of two Calamari and a Ham Hock for starters followed by two beef lunches and a fish and chips with Cheesecake, a Brownie and Ice Cream for dessert. Now the starters were wonderful. The Calamari was small but the Ham Hock came with its own bread ad looked wonderful. When the lunches came over they beef dinners were accompanied with a large Yorkshire pudding on top and lovely cooked carrots and parsnips. The fish was ok, but because it was Hake and not cod I found it a little underwhelming. The desserts were lovely although the ice cream was £3 per scoop. With the drinks included we paid just over £115 got the lot, which for a family of 3 is rather expensive. However, we were there for a treat and thought it was well worth paying for. Just an addition, there is a Yellow school bus out the back for breakfasts and in the summer weather there is a fish and chip bar with accompanying tables and chairs. There is a reasonable car park too. Overall, the lunch was lovely and for anyone who has the money and wants a decent lunch, spend it here. One of the best local places we have been to for years. PS the staff were very pleasant too and made the event all the more worthwhile.

We’ve been many time before and met friends there for a meal. The menu and quality of food used to be very good but now it’s a limited menu and all tasteless freezer food; the scampi and chips were shockingly bad. Such a shame - this place used to be in our top 3 ‘go to’ pubs for a great meal but we won’t be going back until we read good reviews again. Suggest the chef and menu is changed…..

Went for a Christmas meal with friends. Not even a cracker on the table and really poor management of dietary requirements for my friend. She even phoned beforehand to check she could be catered for but it was a shambles on the evening, and she was over charged. Wrote a letter of complaint about the experience on their website, which apparently wasn’t received, and then again on social media - where I was told feedback would be passed on. 3 weeks and several chase ups and now being ignored. Won’t be returning and definitely do not recommend.

Excellent service from the young women who served us on Wednesday lunchtime. Very good to offer water first for the table before other drinks and was very friendly to provide excellent service. Food was very good both the sausage and mash and the vegetarian curry were excellent. Size of serving was large and quality of food excellent. Sausage and mash came with freshly cooked vegetables which were very good, wide selection and definitely fresh. Curry had a home made onion bhaji which was also very good. There is a weekly home made pie, which someone had on the next table, which I will go for next time.

Tried to book a table for a weekday lunch, rang the pub a week before but went through to answer phone. I left a message with booking request and a number to call back to confirm, heard nothing. Tried again a couple of days later straight to answer phone again no response, tried again the next day, same, bearing in mind tried at different times of day/evening. Finally day before we were due for lunch actually called in to check whether we actually had a booking. Very helpful waitress said we could book in at “Toast” for brunch but stopped serving at 12, she then got someone else who told me they were separate businesses ( although same telephone number) and she couldn’t help with a lunch booking at the pub, right behind her, suggested I phoned to make a booking! What a joke, you would have thought they would be keen for customers, such a shame as have eaten here several times and the food has always been very good. Needless to say we took our business elsewhere.

TOAST - FLYFORD From what was recommended to us as a friendly, warm welcoming breakfast spot. It truly crushed any positive expectations we had. The only words I have for the lady in charge (possible owner) are rude and unwelcoming. We arrived for breakfast after booking a whole week in advance. 2 people and our dog. to be seated In a freezing cold spot outside in the rain. This was after we received a rude response when seated on bar stools on the first instance. Menu is completely overpriced, we had travelled from Evesham specifically to enjoy breakfast here, this was soon tarnished due to the rude staff member and awful customer service. The two staff behind the counter agreed we had been treated unfairly however the manager was completely unforgiving. They need to provide some terms and conditions or a polite notice when booking a T-table. Would not recommend or return here. Utterly disappointed.

Awful. (The original booking was under my partner, Emma before this review is discredited). We booked via Instagram a week ago for this weekend, it came recommended by a friend whom had mentioned the venue was fantastic for dogs! We arrived and was seated on bar stools, which had we known beforehand, we would have expressed that we wasn't happy to be seated there. The waitress/owner told my partner that this was told to her a week ago on the booking via phone. We informed her that we had booked via Instagram a week before and showed her that it never said anything about being seated on bar stools. She informed us that they were fully booked and that the only other option was to sit near the entrance where one side of the table would be wet because of the rain, she also said it was near a wood burner/heater. Once seated there, we were cold and the rain was on more than one side of the table, I said to my partner that this wasn't good enough, especially as we had booked a week before and wasn't told anything about bar stools and now, sitting outside in the rain! I approached the coffee prep area to cancel our drinks order and spoke to two very nice members of staff who said that they were sure something could be done and that they would endeavour to get us seated indoors and on a table. The original waitress/possible owner then came back over and abruptly said "i told you we were fully booked there is nowhere else for you to sit".I'm sorry, but without ever being there before and knowing the possibilities of 1) being sat on bar stools facing a wooden wall with no where for the dog and b) sat outside we would never have booked. The rudeness of the waitress/owner was absolutely unprofessional to say the very least! No where on the website does it state about possibly being seated on bar stools *you may wish to update this on your website so people have the decision whether they agree or disagree with this.*I'd also express that if you are susceptible to Covid-19 to think about heading here; the amount of customers allowed to walk around without a facial covering was worrying!

Having booked over 2 weeks ago and updated the team as to our party's size (lots of tables inside and outside empty - no idea why so much fuss was made? Perhaps they like to tell people how busy they are rather than the truth) my family of 4 were served a mediocre meal. Worse, dear reader, I chose (and how I am kicking myself for this) the shellfish pappardelle. I discovered, 2 bites in, an unopened clam. I immediately put my fork down and stopped. When we told the waitress, she said she would 'feed back' to the chefs and then returned with a full bill saying'they will check all future orders more carefully'. What about my inedible meal? We then waited another ten minutes to be brought the card machine. Finally, we called over the restaurant manager Josh and explained again. He cut me short, literally saying 'yeah, yeah, yeah' and walking off. We went up to the bar to pay the finally reduced bill, where again I was told that it was 'impossible' to check the shellfish in my dish. I am not Gordon Ramsay, but to be lectured after having potentially been poisoned is a step too far. I have worked in kitchens, love food and really wanted to support a local business, but felt that I was treated appallingly. I would be so sorry to have disappointed any diner for any reason, but instead had to ask why he (Josh) had so little sympathy for me? I had been served a meal I couldn't eat and then told that I didn't matter....avoid if you can, there are lots more careful and considerate establishments in our wonderful Worcestershire....

We attended today for Sunday lunch as we had been before and found it amazing. This was about 12 months ago and we thought we'd give it another go as we were after a nice Sunday lunch. My girlfriend and I decided to go for a three course meal. I had the tomato salad and to be honest if you cut a baby plum tomato up it wouldn't equate to what was on my plate, along with the token three leaves of rocket. However my girlfriend's chicken liver parfait was more than adequate. Then we both had the beef dinner, 3 roast potatoes each and we had essence of vegetables??? To be honest I don't think I've seen bowls that small in my life, to say we were disappointed with the portion sizes was an understatement. My girlfriend is a dessert fan and she when for the Eton mess, I think the server must have eaten half of it on the way to the table as there wasn't much on the plate. If your looking to be filled up at the Flyford for around £80 for 2 people with drinks, get yourself a KFC first.

A busy Sunday lunch may not show The Flyford at its best. The staff and front of house were competent. The diners, a mix of young and older families seemed well contented. Most took the Sunday Roast option but the starters, ours and others, seemed very meagre. A goats cheese salad had a thin cheese disc, half a walnut and a segment of grapefruit hidden in an overwhelming mass of leaves. My beef roast was however good but unremarkable. My wife's lamb needed either longer, slower cooking or the rarer cut-meat removed from the sinews before plating. The creme brule was one of the best we have had. I think we need to try a mid-week evening meal before we make up our minds. (If the government lets me out of my house!)

Had some food in the bar area and would recommend the camembert. Only thing I didn't like was the staff member talking loudly to a party of six about other complaints and seemingly making fun of previous customers who were unhappy about something. This felt a little uncomfortable and not very appropriate.

Visited for lunch after hearing good things from locals. The bar and restaurant area are done so nicely. Upmarket, modern but welcoming feel. Good wine selection. Scallops were really fantastic, the batter on the Frito misto was light and very tasty as was the accompanying aioli. I had the take on boeuf bourguignon which was so delicious, beef falling apart, such a rich meaty sauce. Delicious. Service was excellent too. Would absolutely visit again.

Fanrastic place, food was superb, even though a country pub was more like a posh restaurant. Staff very attentive , not too much of a variety on the menu but can thoroughly reccomend the local fish and chips,

I arranged to Meet my friend for lunch today as it’s a good location for us between our different home towns. I brought my dog with me ( Woody the Cockerpoo) & we were all made very welcome. All the staff were very friendly & attentive Especially the young woman working behind the bar, who clearly loves dogs. We only had a light lunch of small plates of squid & scallops & we shared some chips. All the food was beautifully presented & very tasty. The wine ( Sauvignon Blanc ) was good too. The decor is very tasteful & the atmosphere is relaxed & stylish; we sat in the bar area as we had a dog - which was no problem- as it’s spacious & beautifully decorated throughout. Price wise, it’s upper end for a lunch- but worth it for all the above mentioned factors. I will Def return & will recommend to my friends ( especially those with dogs). Prior to our visit I had contacted the pub via Facebook to ask about dogs & the response time was really quick, which is always helpful when you've not visited a place before. Thanks for a great experience.

We regularly eat at The Flyford as the food is always outstanding but most recently we had a party in The Dog House (the side room off the main pub). The atmosphere was great, we were able to plug a phone in to provide our own music and we were looked after very well with constant drinks orders being taken and ferried around. I would highly recommend not only the restaurant in general but the Dog House for any raucous gatherings! Everything was brilliantly organised and stress free and we look forward to celebrating many more occasions with you in the near future.

My wife and I were out for a drive and got a little lost. We came across The Flyford. We are still quite new to the area and looking for local restaurants and pubs. It was lunch time so we thought we'd give it a go. Fabulous. The staff were excellent, telling us of some recommended dishes. We only wanted a small lunch so went for an oriental chicken salad. It was excellent. A little pricey but that was reflected in the quality and flavour. They also advertise fish / seafood specials, so this is one place that is firmly on our list. Definitely going back.

Having noticed the lovely exterior makeover, and bouyed up by learning that The Flyford has daily fresh fish deliveries from Cornwall, we embarked with much anticipation. We were greeted by friendly faces and seated in the comfortable and quirky restaurant. Our shared starter of baked camembert with artisan breads and onion chutney, was beautifully presented and delicious. But I had come for the fish... so I must confess to being rather disappointed on first sighting my sea bass - it was a rather lonely one fillet. I immediately wanted to enquire "Where is the other half of my fish?". Now the fish was absolutely delicious - but I had come for a full fish supper - not an OAP light lunch ! Not only did I feel short changed by the amount of fish - but also the promised salsa verde . I really felt I needed more than a hint of salsa verde to pep up my meal of new potatoes, green beans and a side of fish! Come on chaps - you promise this is going to be a destination pub for fish lovers (that's me) . I didn't expect to have to filch from my husband's plate to fill me up afterwards. Now he did have a good meal - the classic pub cod and chips ! The batter on his lovely fresh cod was delicious - and the homemade tartar sauce was divine ! I so wanted to give this pub 5 stars - I love visiting fish restaurants - but sadly the meal I was served left me with the impression it was more about maximising the owner's profit, and less about the customer experience.

The location has changed hands again since my last review, with Bertie and his team now in charge. The chips are now all 'proper' not oven chips and we love the addition of four varied fish specials on offer (Thurs to Saturday only).
