It was a cold day and the soup and savoury scone were perfect after a broadway tower small walk! The second floor of the cafe was lovely and overall the food was nice!! However the service was not very nice with staff being quite not nice and kept forgetting to bring water and just not been very pleasant to talk to. The fire place was nice and overall we had a good experience but will be nice to have a kinder service from the staff to make it even better.

I brought my family around The Cotswold to enjoy one of the most gorgeous view in the Uk the Broadway Tower,it was around 16:35 when we decided to head to the Morrison & Brown.16:45 I got to the counter and asked for tea and cakes. The lady at the counter said that would be possible only take away as they are closing at 17:00 pm.I thought why not we can enjoying the tea in the garden anyway and than go. However, they forgot to mention that the all place will close at 17:00 including the car park. The closing time is not clearly stated in the car park.17:05 a guy (must have been the chef from the outfit) told us very rudely to stand up and go and he did take away the teapots and cups from under the noose of other unfortunate customers like us.Lastly, at 17:08 we find out that the gate has been locked with us and others inside so my mother with mobility issues had to climb the railings. This was a really bad experience. If you don’t care to do hospitality why open a cafe in such popular place?

Vergogna. Well we should have demanded a refund & walked out But judging by their attitudes I didn’t think it would go down very well , so we struggled through the inch thick dry bead with the week old hard burnt to a crisp re heated bacon inside it , we actually left majority of it & just left not even a Thanks or goodbye (we didn’t even get a reply to our good morning when we walked in) Not recommended

One of the most stunning locations that our cycling club has ever been to. It was our mid ride cafe stop on a ride around the Cotswolds. Very busy at the time, but the service was excellent as was my choice of food from an extensive menu. There is not much seating inside, but as it was a glorious autumn day we had a pleasant time sat outside. The food was nice and there was a good choice of fillings to go in ciabattas, paninis and jacket patatoes, plus soup or quiche. Service was prompt and the food was hot. I regularly do the walk up to the tower and back when back for holidays. This time I invited friends with their teenage children to join us with my younger children 7 and 10. The walk was great and we had "lunch" at the top in the main cafe. I usually only have a drink as it is pricey however this time as a nice change we decided tp have lunch. The menu consists primarily of paninis, pasties, sausage rolls, quiche and soup. One of the teenagers is vegan so we politely asked what they had that was vegan. They clearly struggled to answer and whilst the girl at the till flapped through a file to figure out what was vegan the ( I presume Chef) was called to answer the question. He was so pompous and full of himself it put a bad taste in my mouth for the rest of the day. Basically they only had a pie which was served with salad and because coleslaw isn't vegan they served the raw components I.e. a bit of raw cabbage and some shredded carrot - pretty ridiculous. We asked if they did chips by amy chance as the menu was limited for the rest of the kids too. He rudely replied: 'we"re not THAT kind of establishment" clearly offended by a reasonable question for a cafe. Get over yourself and get some manners and common decency! They try to 'jazz" up items such as the sausage panini by adding marmalade/chutney- this doesn't make them a Michelin star restaurant or justify the prices they charge for standard food. Definitely capitalising purely on the location so wouldn't advise eating here - go to the village at the bottom, better vibe, more options and service 100% better.

The place was literally buzzing with people from when we arrived and almost got completely packed by nearly lunch time. We guessed it was due to the lovely weather, plus people being on holidays as well. We had some refreshments and few coffees and cakes. We needed those extra calories as we were heading to the Broadway Tower afterwards. I could have spent a few more hours there easily, so I highly recommend to check it out. They have a nice shop inside, with lots of cute, cosy vibes items.

In year 2023 how can you not offer free WiFi to customers in your cafe? Nice views and location but could be so much better and more accommodating. Won't be going here again. Paid to park car in restaurant car park for four hours to then have a bite to eat in the car park restaurant before we went off for a walk as our parking ticket expired at 19:06. It was lucky that it rained as this delayed our walk so we sat in the car to wait for the storm to go over. It was a good job we did as at 5.00pm - two hours before our parking ticket expired - we were thrown out of the car park as apparently the car park closes at 5.00pm when the restaurant closes. I would have been horrified if we had gone for a walk & returned to find our car locked in. Surely the management have the intelligence to put a notice on the parking meter to state that the gates will be locked at 5.00pm although its probably connected to the profits as they would need to put a two hour charge on the machine. I'm sure many vehicles have been locked in previously but no doubt it is not the management that get the backlash from irate vehicle owners. If they take your money to park for four hours you should be allowed to park for four hours - I would have thought trading standards would agree with me.

The Barn: Staff very lovely and ambiance nice however near £16 for a veggie breakfast was eye watering. Toast was thin, cold and rock-hard, avocado was naked, and the vegan sausages tasted like overly synthetic pork so I had to leave them. Daughter had the pancakes which she did enjoy but the bacon was over cooked sadly. 3 of us paid £60 for brunch. That was 3 breakfasts and 3 drinks. Of course our bad, we could have walked rather than pay that but we expected a proper A la carte treat for that. Just unremarkable sorry. Ended up in Chipping Norton hungry and spent £5 on tea and toast and I give that 5 star! Fluffy hot bread fresh out of the toaster.

Nice location and great food and coffee. Just don't have the scones as they don't bother covering those. Everyone queues up next to them to order and reaches over them to pay!!!

Called in to Broadway Tower on a trip to.the Cotswolds. Had bacon butties and cheese scone. Bacon butty was the best we have ever had. Cheese scone was excellent too. Gets quite busy, but good atmosphere, and good service. Also has a shop with lots of nice gifts.

We did enjoy our stay here great rooms there were a couple of things I would suggest hand sanitizer of some sort in the bathroom and was a bit noisy with doors closing by themselves in the middle of the night making ours bang and boiler going off but an excellent stay apart from that. We where surprised at the bar closing early and shutting really early on the weekend but went elsewhere for food and drinks which was a shame as their facilities there are lovely especially the outside would definitely stay there again

Owner was a right piece of work. Staff were lovely, hopefully the owner could learn a thing or two from his staff
