The Copcut Elm in Wychavon

Absolutely love the copcut always on point , food , price and atmosphere I regularly come in here with my family and enjoy their menu. My children love the play area and the staff are amazing especially Jord and Cherry on the bar there just great Thankyou guys for making my experience great

Treated to lunch today (Friday) by my son. Great offer on the burger meals (buy one get one free). The quadzilla burger was enormous and the Smokin Jack burger was really tasty. We were made to feel very welcome by Cherry and Tom, who were very friendly and professional. The pub was very clean and tidy and a pleasure to be in! Great food and service.. we will be back!

A great breakfast. We were off work on Thursday and thought we would get a breakfast at Copcut. A lovely cooked breakfast with tea and coffee. Lovely staff. We will be back

Usually really like this place but today the tables were sticky I asked a member of staff if I could have something to wipe it with please she was so rude. We then ordered off dirty menus I changed mine twice as just filthy. The food arrived and husbands was missing sauces and salsa and he had to go and ask to then be told they are out of salsa. We asked why we were not told this at ordering the person in charge said yes I should have said (that's fair enough and he offered a cheese sauce) he agreed the staff were not helpful. It wasn't a great visit and couldn't wait to leave to me honest. Puddings were lovely so I will say that and the guy in charge delivered my drink to the table as I'm disabled which I was greatful for. Needs a good clean and staff need to me approachable especially when a meal out is a big treat for people nowadays. EDITING MY REVIEW AFTER A REVISIT We visited today food was better table and menus clean. Lady who was seating people said our table had been given to someone else (we were 10 mins late) so told us to sit anywhere. It was nice to see the tables being cleaned. Overall a much better visit and would recommend.

Staff are very helpful and friendly, shout out to Jamie who took our order for 7 and explained all about the menu and special meal deals including offers on bottles. Food arrived promptly and was hot. I found the lasagna a bit bland and overcooked however no issues with others meals which were either gammon or burgers. It's what I would call a drop in if your passing pub as I wouldn't again drive from malvern to dine there. Overall it was OK.

Fantastic visit! My friend and I took her children up to The Copcut for some lunch and a play outside. Our food was served promptly, hot and presented well. The value for money is unbeatable. A great selection of drinks were also available. Super play area for children which kept them entertained for the afternoon!

Reserved a table and was so sticky even after them wiping it over, chips arrived cold, the steak was chewy as so pointless trying to eat it after a while. My kids food arrived near enough cold to..shouldnt be cold when you only have to walk like 10 seconds to the table.It's the first time I've ever eaten out and went back home hungry

Bit bizarre really, had a barman that sounds like he's shouting questions and answers when dealing with customers and speaks quietly to other staff... Glad I wasn't eating inside to hear him speaking so loudly to customers... Who on earth hired this guy??? We chose the mixed grill as it was £14, as a burger and chips was priced at around £12 Food was good. Drinks were good.

We went for breakfast the was food was tasty and the price is good. Very quiet but it was a Sunday morning. The Lady serving was miserable it was like it was a chore to talk to us. Clearly not a morning person

Arrived for family breakfast was greeted by staff that were lovely. However, ordered full breakfasts, one plate had to return due to all food being stone cold. Which the staff was very helpful on resolving the issue. Eggs were overcooked on every plate and cold. All the food seemed like it had been precooked and served when ordered. Unfortunately, wouldn’t rush back.

Food was Decusting place was dirty and cutlery wasn't even clear NEVER GO THERE AGAIN

I ordered a chicken and bacon wrap and was shocked to find such a small piece of chicken inside it n I had to remove the bacon it was just fat. My grandaugther coudnt cut her rump steak with steak knife it was so tough. !! So disappointed..

Took a visit today for early Teatime and in all 100% outstanding. Great customer service on arrival, served instantly and food was outstanding, food came out quick and was very hot. Would definitely return

Absolute shambles of a place, got here at 14:00 (pre booked table) on 9.6.24 Ordered food and was told it would be an hour, sat in the restaurant patiently waiting to see people that had walked in after us get served before us, listen to the majority of people around us complaining about the wait to be fobbed off by young female staff because the manager didn't have the balls to come out and speak to people. Walked out after waiting for 1hr 45 minutes with no sign of food arriving and couldn't even be arsed to ask for a refund. Hopefully the "management" will share the £50 between the poor girls on the restaurant floor that had to deal with all the complaints. Will never return and advise you all to stay away from the place.

We had booked a table for 2pm. At quarter to four - yes, really - we were told it would be another half an hour. We left at that point and went elsewhere. Manager hid behind the bar and couldn’t give a toss. Lots of other unhappy customers talking amongst themselves about how bad it was. Tables, menus and cutlery were grubby. Just avoid - absolutely dire.

15 of us came for a special occasion and was told at 2pm there wasn't any gravy left with Sunday dinners and then when we had ordered we were told after there was no beef left except for 1. we had to wait over 1and half hrs for our food then it came out in 10 minutes intervals with childrens coming out last who were very hungry. Also the Sunday lunch didn't come out with what was on the specified menu ie missing stuffing, mash potato, and green beans after they managed to find some gravy! Probably the worst Sunday lunch and service we have ever had and definitely would not recommend it.

Stood waiting at the bar for 15 mons & no sign of bar person. This pub doesn't have enough staff on & waiting times are getting worse

Came today for a family get together was so disappointing and will not be returning. On arrival was told no gravy (on a Sunday) got to the bar to then see people having gravy so asked if they had it and was told yes, so then went back and changed our orders again. Waited an hour and half for food (16 of us) even though was told a 45min wait on ordering, 3 meals arrived Luke warm, was offered to have them taken back but could not wait any longer for food. waited another 20mins for a few more plates, children's meals came last 30mins later!!!! So I had to sit in front of my 2 year old with my dinner while she was starving wondering where hers was! Then they forgot one child's so he had to wait for his which arrived once everyone had finished. Another child's meal came with 5 chips!!! Had to come home and feed her again as she was still hungry! (Not surprising) Sides also arrived last which were sent back because meals were already eaten. 3 of the roast dinners didn't arrive with half of the stuff it was meant to. Seemed to be one problem after the other. Floor staff looked rushed off their feet and having to deal with everything (maybe short staffed 🤷) Ended up complaining and will never be returning. Absolute shambles of a business!

i went for a meal with my family and let’s just say the whole thing was a waste of time. the standard of the food was below average and the only upside to it was that the food was all brought out relatively close together. i was totally put off my dessert by the abysmal standard of cutlery, dirty marks, water marks and even wet food on the back of my spoon which i suspect was hidden and the staff knew full well it was there. will not be returning unless standards drastically improve

Went in on a last Friday for the the 2-4-1 Burgers! Korean Burger was spot on! Service was speedy and staff were friendly.

The worst breakfast I have ever had , by far omg I like this chain but it's downmarket from the service to the table . Dreadfull .

Places needs shutting down, came here with my partner food items not on menu, cutlery dirty, tables dirty. Don't bother wasting your money on the food.. there is better in Droitwich.. won't be returning

Turned up other week with my partner and child food choices were poor as they had no onion rings to go with my steak meal as they had ran out of them, I asked the question of can I sub out the onion rings for a fresh salad instead I was told no I cant as they only give you two onion rings anyway pay full price for a steak meal that isn’t complete is pointless, also had no mocha and my partners burger stack meal got subbed out as they had no chicken burgers left but told us this after had already payed for meal…and also would have to look for mayo as they weren’t sure they had any left… Don’t understand why places can’t tell you what they have or haven’t got before you order anything… service was very flat overall staff were at the bar on mobile phones and the person who took our food order had personality of a wet sponge…also the tv’s in the booths are a unique background touch but the signal looks like the antenna doesn’t park properly and is all pixelated……Will not be returning there again if you want a nice meal go to harvester or the crown in wychbold 10-15 mins drive extra and worlds apart.

Had a really nice meal with friends and the kids. Soft play is an excellent addition as is the new park outside. Well worth a visit. Food is much improved.

The copcut is my local, I have been there today and ill go another day no doubt. However, when the pub is busy it fundamentally fails to operate the way a good watering hole should. The pub was pretty busy, but not 5 deep at the bar busy, lots of food orders going in as it was 1830, having said this, a 20 minute wait on the app for just drinks made me highlight the situation to the bar staff to which they replied "We are busy, you should have seen and come to the bar and not ordered from the app." Which, to me is justifying the horrendous lack of staff on the bar (again, not the first time.) We ended up cancelling the order and leaving. 90% of the time the pub runs fine, the bar staff always try hard and I enjoy my time at the Copcut, but this is sadly not the first time I've been left questioning the woeful staff levels and disappointed upon leaving. This place has such potential but feels like Greene King is leaving it to be run to wreck and ruin. On another point, getting rid of Stella for £4 and replacing for Madri for £5.50 is a absolutely joke.

We came for breakfast on Wednesday 20th March 2024 and was served by Jade who was brilliant. She made us aware of offers, checked to see we enjoyed our meal as well as tending to other customers and clearing tables. She was very dynamic and appeared to genuinely enjoy her job and serving people. She’s a credit to the Hungry Horse chain and hospitality and catering industry.

Came here for a meal last weekend and although the place was quite busy, the food quality and service was excellent. Beth was really friendly and couldn't do enough for our table - so thank you! Will definitely be returning.

I really wanted to give it 5 stars. With two of the other pubs going through a refurbishment we want the Copcut to remain open. I watched the staff clear a used table and used nothing to clean it. Please don't let the pub go under. have a bit of respect for the Copcut

Cheap and cheerful. Food isn't the best but it's fried so hard it won't poison you. Staff were friendly and good disability access.

I had an excellent tasting steak (cooked rare), baked potato, and salad, with hot sauce, from the "Mix it up" menu. Food and beer were very enjoyable. I felt well afterwards. The pub interior is spacious with special photographs from and about Droitwich on the wall. Atmosphere was relaxed. Staff very helpful. Service was prompt and food arrived sizzling. I was really impressed by the pub and the professional service and the high standards of the food.

Took my dad here for some lunch. He enjoyed it and a great selection of ales for him! The food selection is vast and affordable. Steaks are seasoned and cooked to your desire! I went with a rare steak and was extremely impressed it came out as rare. The temperature of the food was hot and wasn't sat under a heat lamp for ages, which I loved. The food was all fresh and cooked brilliantly. If you're in Droitwich give this pub a whirl. If you're after food or drink, it's a great visit and you won't regret it. My only negative part, if I had to mention something, was the barmaid was very loud, but better to be loud than too quiet! Thanks for helping me make my father's day!

What food they did have was terrible. Ordered a steak medium to well done for my son, when it arrived it still had blood pouring out of it. We were told there was no custard so all deserts would be with ice cream which was fine, until both apple and blackcurrant crumble came out with custard. Tables around us left and tables still weren't cleared by staff half hour after they'd left. Overall the quality has nose dived which is a shame as it used to be a good pub. Needless to say I won't be taking the family there for a meal again

always came here with my nana and family, so many memories i can't even count them all, so fun, make lots of rriends, and enemies, claw machine is absolutley bum rigged, everything else georgeous, if you have kids, just leave them here, the horse always gets them ans trust me they'll be happier with him, such a silly and great place

Good value for money Food as to expect from a hungry horse

Great place for a simple meal great for groups families or even eating alone, staff very friendly and helpful.

Nobody asked how our meals were, gammon was tough turned it into a hammer with my fork lol, staff didn't care when mentioned how the food was neither, only thing we enjoyed was each others company and the puddings

Strongbow cider seemed watered down ! Certainly not strong. I ordered Chicken New Yorker from Pub Specials was very disappointing, the chicken breast was a small portion and not tender, the peas were not sweet and very green, finally, the chips were french fries unlike the proper chips on my wife's meal, The scpi and chips were adequate as was the fish and chips, Not one of the four of us were excited by the food, The apple crumble was ok but no choice of custard or ice-cream, I was particularly disappointed as I had treated everyone, Have visited this Hungry He orse before and always been very happy with the mealso what's gone wrong,

We travel here from Birmingham I know there is one closer to me but the cop cut elm seems to be better presented and a better atmosphere it's out stop off all the time the staff are brilliant

Nice food and great choice of drinks all at very good prices, especially compared to the other Greene King pub just down the road (The Castle)! Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Jon on the bar, but more staff would be recommended a poor Jon was rushed off his feet. Dog friendly area inside the pub as well as the outdoor garden. Will definitely visit again.

The copcut is a lovely family pub, the staff are kind and welcoming to adults and children. We've had food there a few times and their daily deals are fantastic value for money. I'd say this is a budget friendly place and (I hate to bring it up but) considering the cost of living crisis, a really great place to relax whilst also living within your means. Thank you, we will be returning!

17 of us for a birthday. We go about 3 times a year. Feed your family for £15, try £41.50!!!! When we questioned this, the staff sent out the young girl who was the table clearer! We were initially told the deal was only Monday to Friday, then we were told, because we didn't order the drinks and puddings at the time of ordering .....basically tough! Why the staff who took my order ask me, I even had the menus with me!! My rare steak was cooked to within an inch of it's life. Quickly rectified though so 1 positive to our meal. The fish on the fish and chips was more of a mini fish, half the size from last time. Also, ran out of candy mania! As a large family, collectively we have decided not to use the place again. Shame they don't have enough staff either. 3 stars because the waitress and clearer were very nice 👌
