Amazing food. The smash burger was awesome, service was quick got a lot of drinks, all staff was friendly and efficient. Great value will definitely be coming back!

Wanted to catch 15.04 to Oxford on Saturday 3rd of May. Tracking App told us we could catch it but it would only take us to Shrub Hill where we’d have to sit about for an hour before we could get an onward train. Hence we walked to Shrub Hill to lessen the time we’d be sat kicking our heels. Finally got on the train at 16.35 and arrived Oxford 18.01. Contacted Delay Repay and they knew absolutely nothing about it. Could someone at either Foregate Street or Shrub Hill explain to Head Office what went on.

Went here for our wedding anniversary meal. My husband's steak was fine. My vegan pasta dish came with normal parmesan cheese on ( I am checked it was vegan before I ordered and it clearly stated vegan on the menu), replaced with weak bland tomato soup with pasta in, that was taken away and replaced with the other vegan option of burger and chips. Picked the burger up and it literally dripped a pool of oil/water onto the wooden board it came on. No sauce dressing which it said on the menu. The waiter and manager were very polite and professional. Chef needs retraining or sacking! I ended up with a Tesco meal deal in the hotel room. Avoid if vegan

Excellent food at normalish prices. £19 for a burger, which was fantastic, fish and chips also really good. Great home made chips. Wonderful views of the river aswell. Best meal out for a long while.
