Friendly and welcoming. Only stopped for coffee and cake but very good and staff lovely.

Love this place! Friendly door staff as soon as you arrive. Once inside the bar staff are amazing and work so hard, and even the manager was so friendly and attentive! Good music, good vibes and fair prices similar to the rest of the bars in the area.

Always a lovely, consistently friendly and efficient service and delicious coffee...thankyou. We love coming to Bar Angeli and have done for years.

Awful selection of real ales.... it's a Green King pub but hasn't served Abbot Ale since 1799...tonight with a huge Rugby Union match, they even run out of Green King IPA... staff don't care, take it or leave it policy. Avoid like the plague....

Took my girlfriend here for an anniversary meal as she loves sushi. Unfortunately we had to leave early because of the lack of attentive customer service. Considering half of your menu is Order from a server and not from the belt, I think coming around once in an hour to ask about drinks and hot food is completely unacceptable. Considering the only time I managed to order hot food was when I went up to a server and asked if I could order. Also one of the servers ordered our food wrong and one member of staff spent their whole time on a laptop as we had waited to be seated for 5 minutes before she realised we were even there. There was only four tables taken so I think that three staff is plenty to ensure your customers have a good experience. I will not be returning again and this was some of the poorest customer service I’ve had for a long time, when we raised the issue we got a unenthusiastic apology that was clearly meant to just brush over the situation. Pathetic service for over priced food, I expect much better at these prices.

Wraps were rock hard so obviously not fresh. Food was stone cold.

Was Good food 2 years ago now but twice we've had cold food 1 hour 10 min wait at £25 to feed 2 . We won't be putting up with this anymore. I understand there busy in peak times but instead of saying sorry it's going to be a 2 hour wait but I will arrive within 2 hours be hot and fresh is that okay then I at least have the option bit wasn't warned about a long delay with cold food delivered on the phone when ordering they offerd to re do it and send new food but refused that just because we were so hungry after long shifts at work Like I say it was good but no it just isn't it's not a one off rant either this is the 2nd time 1st time I let it go but others need to know save your money go to the pub or something for food same price nearly

I waited over 25 minutes for my food, and when it finally arrived, it was cold and looked like it had been sitting out for ages. The server was inattentive and didn't check in once after we placed our order. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back here

We had a brilliant meal here. They managed to fit us in despite not having booked. We always love going to yo sushi restaurants but sometimes find the choice on the belt to be lacking. We were really keen to for the bottomless belt as it was a Thursday evening and having seen many dishes going round the belt we decided to go for it. There was a good choice of dishes and the deal was good value for us. Would definitely return to this branch.
