Came in and after giving us menus we waited for 15 minutes before we called member of staff to ask about coffee and cake for £5.95 as advertised in front at the shop… we were ignored for further 5 minutes and it seemed it-was more important to clean tables then serve us. So we left disappointed. Would never recommend this establishment..
Livery Street Regent Court, Leamington Spa England, England
Quite excited to try this place. First things first, you pay up front. They tried to charge me for 4 adults; my kids are 13 and 16. Not off to a great start. The food selection here is OK if you're a meat eater but dire if you're vegetarian. A shame really when the quality was OK. In a nut shell, the service here is poor, everything seems to be an effort for the staff. Our table had remnants of a drink, the floor had bits of food, asking for water was like I'd insulted a family member. Oh well, at least we tried.
What a poor experience. I use ‘Spoons a lot, mainly because of the range of ales they have. Most are well kept and different from the run of the mill offerings in other places. This was no exception. A pint of Sambrooks Powerhouse Porter and another of Rampart Dark Ale very tasty.
The problem was with the staff, food and cleanliness. My first attempt at buying a drink consisted of being ignored. Y 3 staff members who walked up and down the bar aimlessly. I eventually asked one of them ’can I buy a drink?’ At which point I was served, so obviously not doing anything else. When I went back to order food, exactly the same thing.
Food was not pleasant, watery scampi and, if there could be such a thing, chewy chips! I had to return to the bar to get clean cutlery as the ones given to us were filthy with food remnants on them.
As we walked out I would estimate that at least 80% of the tables that weren’t being used were full of dirty plates and glasses. The clearing up rota had not been filled.
Will still visit for beers but I don’t think I will eat there again.
Myself and my husband met up with our daughter for something to eat. There was a huddle of young girl assistants and we had unfortunately interrupted them. I asked one young lady if a table could be cleaned. She picked up the cups and glasses not attempting to wipe the table, My daughter wanted jacket potato (basic) but the kitchen closed at 2.00 and it was 2.30. This was the only table and 80% of customers were on laptops and mobiles with only an empty cup or glass. This will not financially support your business long term. There was a young lad trying to be helpful but was outnumbered. The teas came two thirds full with no sugar or teaspoons which we had to ask for. This took 2 trips, then a cake arrived and an apology from the young lad saying they had run out of scones! A replacement was chosen. Nobody appeared to be in charge, experienced or interested in working in hospitality.
We will not be returning, sorry for the inconvenience.

I ordered a pina colada....was literally just pineapple juice. I asked the cashier if I could change it as I did not like plain pinapple and could not taste anything else. Apparently I should of tasted the coconut as the smoothies are all pre made powder.
Do not order smoothies, disgusting and not natural, lord knows what they're made of.
0 for customer service as most buisnesses even small independent ones would do an exchange as good will, plus it probably only cost them 10p to purchase.
Ordered for delivery never arrived on the 1st time, driver went to the same street in leamington, 2nd attempt driver went to the same street in leamington all well but we are warwick! First time ever ordered from them won’t be ordering ever. Never received the food!
Dirty restaurant. Food smeared on walls. Filled with kids and mess. Floors dirty. A far cry from other restaurants - need to get a grip on cleanliness.
