Beautiful atmosphere and nice place to go for coffee or lunch. Shame the front house staff been very rude and unprofessional. Understandable there are loads of students or teenagers working here but this doesnt exclude the fact that they should be assisted by a manager or someone with experience. I came here on Monday at 16pm with my missus and this waitress (Very young) doesn't even smile and just been rude since we arrived. We asked what the desserts are and she had no idea,basically her answer was kind of like (If you can read go find out yourselves). It's really a shame because I came to this place many many times and this was definitely my last. I been working in hospitality all my life and I like to give you an advice if I can(Train your staff properly and make sure they always smile at customers). Good luck to all of you.

Love eating here and food is always amazing. Most staff are pleasant but always seem to get the young girl with dark hair that ruins it by being so rude and abrupt. Doesn't stop us going here but amazing how just one member of staff can ruin the experience of eating here...

Visited twice in a couple of days and really enjoyed coffee and cake. Such an exciting choice of coffees! I tried the Greek frappe on one visit and an Americano the next. The Greek frappe was sweet and indulgent but not sickly. A refreshing treat! The lotus biscoff and carrot cake is amazing. So nice to have proper homemade cakes and a decent potion. Staff were friendly and the place had a real buzz. Good for takeaway cakes too.

Love this place. Best lunch in Leamington’s by far. Varied menu, plenty of choice with numerous vegetarian options. Home cooked food of high quality and service is spot on. I love it so much -I go for lunch most weeks!!!

Superb bar/café situated in a busy thoroughfare of Leamington. Excellent food that is prepared fresh and a great choice of drinks. Seating is either inside or outside. Always popular , so sometimes very difficult to get a table. Very nice staff but slow service. Worth a visit !

Just in Leamington for a couple of nights. Found this little place by chance just round the corner from where we were staying. Great place for a sunny breakfast. Lovely quick service. The porridge with compote was the best I have ever had and I loved the fact that my tea cup had been warmed before it was given to me so that my Lapsang Souchong tea did not go cold the instant I poured it

Stumbled upon this place when in Leamington and my goodness it was great. Really busy with friendly staff, open kitchen so you can see your food getting prepared. We both had paninis which are served with crisps and a lovely salad with dressing. Both had glasses of wine, had to ask for ice as it wasn't very cold, no problem. Just noticed the cakes as we went to leave, huge selection and looked delicious. So glad we found it, great for lunch.

Visited last w’end for breakfast, sausage and egg muffin good as was the coffee. However the sugar and lemon crepe was ruined by lemon curd in the crepe and covered in it on the top. Just needed a squeeze of fresh lemon and sugar, the lemon curd is far too sweet and unpleasant and not even on the menu ! Buy a fresh lemon please ..

Went in for an impromptu lunch with my mother, and we weren’t disappointed. We both had paninis and a glass of wine. The paninis were gorgeous, with lovely soft bread. The wine was equally good. I’m veggie and there were lots of veggie options on the menu for me to chose from. We were both impressed and will definitely be returning to try some of the delicious looking cakes next time

In the past, I have only popped into this cafe for a quick coffee. My son hav eraved about the quality of the food, so during a shopping trip today, we had lunch and were not disappointed. My son recommended a Panini. I was looking at a Tuna oanini with Mozzarella cheese and egg, and from past experience, I like this comination with one additional item - bacon. It really does work! Bar Angeli served up my request in the freshest panini braed I have ever tased in the UK. With a salad accompaniment it was truly outstanding. I also was persuaded to try a Syphon Coffee - I chose Columbian and drank it black with demerara sugar. Really good. The whole experience was first class. Well done son!

Stopped her for lunch on way back home from a weekend in the Cotswolds. Sat outside as weather was glorious. Service was fast and food was delicious! I had an oat milk iced mocha and it was lovely. Definitely a place to visit!

We had an excellent time, the food was beautiful, the atmosphere was lovely and homely. The Tea was a bit overpriced but everything made up for it.

Went here late Sunday afternoon, staff were very pleasant and attentive. Raspberry lemonade was amazing, the food was cooked in exactly the way we requested, really nice cafe so we will definitely return.

I had an amazing avocado bruschetta, presented beautifully along with a lovely oat milk latte. My partner who has coeliac disease was able to have scrambled egg with bacon. We both also enjoyed a vegan and a gluten free brownie very much.

I went here on Monday and had the best service and the most amazing food. this is a must try for all.

Visited for lunch. Sat outside in the sunshine Service was very friendly and welcoming. Ordered paninis which were very yummy with Italian bread.

We came here for lunch while staying in the area. Lovely location to sit outside and watch the world go by. I had the Panini which was tasty, maybe a more interesting side salad would be good. The service by the young man was excellent.

The staff members were rude and miserable. The chocolate cake was very stale, at least three days old. They got our order wrong and to cap it all the waitress sprayed tables right next to us to clean. Obviously cleaning needs to be done but no need for this ridiculous use of spray, products can be applied to cloths without spraying directly next to food. The staff are really unfriendly and seem to have difficulty communicating. A really disappointing experience.

We had coffee and cake outside at the tables and chairs provided. They are under cover and socially distanced. There was a grey sky but even if it had rained we would have been sheltered. It was so lovely to enjoy the things we take for granted. There are plenty of socially distanced benches just there too if the tables are taken. There seemed to be a socially distanced full house on Saturday 12/12/20. It was swell, I’m tearing up just thinking about how good it felt. Oh and the carrot cake is the best I’ve ever tasted - I’ve sampled a lot. I’m 49 and it’s my favourite! Support the people you love to visit so that they’re still there when we come out of this.

The coffee in Angeli is excellent, one of the best in Leamington and the service is also excellent and very polite and welcoming staff, always got a smile and ready for a chat.

Well worth a visit if visiting Leamington. Coffee is always to a high standard. Service slower than usual this weekend but it was extremely busy!

Popped in for a Sunday morning coffee. We’ve been several times and the coffee and food are quality.

We have eaten here many times over the years and it is always a great experience. Today was no exception. The antipasto musso was outstanding - good selection of meats, mozzarella balls, salad, huge tasty olives, balsamic and virgin olive oil with a great pile of bread. We followed with an Atlantic smoked salmon bruschetta: beautifully presented and very tasty, the bread base was extremely light and and with the right amount of crunch. The staff, were excellent - friendly, attentive, respectful and efficient - well done. We will be back again.

I came here with some friends for a late lunch and we weren't disappointed. It was our first time in Leamington and faced with lots of eateries we chose Bar Angeli. We had to wait nearly 15 minutes to get a table as it's not very big but we were drawn to the atmosphere and we knew that it would be good due to it being so busy when everywhere else wasn't.

They make the best hot chocolate! and coffee apparently is amazing I'm told but I don't drink it! Lovely food too Always a warm welcome - staff efficient and friendly - good service & good prices

We come here now regularly when coming to Leamington, we have brought family and friends also and we have all enjoyed it. It is now my place of choice for a good Latte, it really is excellent.

Although England doesn't have a great coffee culture... the coffee in Bar Angeli is PERFECTION! Me and my boyfriend are living in Bristol now. Everytime we go back to Leamington Spa a visit there is a must do !!! Very nice atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff, super delicious food and amazing coffee (the guys behind the bar do never disappoint). They even warm up the chocolate croissants a little bit before they serve them. The goat cheese panini is my favourite !!! I can highly recommend this place to anyone who likes good coffee :)

Ordered a bruschetta combo. It just didn't work as the houmous and salad on top rendered the toasted bread wet and soggy. Also without flavour. I told the waitress and showed her the unappetising soggy bread. She went to tell management, who merely stated at us, but did nothing about it. Hid in kitchen when we went to til to pay. I asked to see him. I asked him if he was going to say anything to us about my feedback. He wasn't interested in it or any aspect of customer service. I told him the combination didn't work. He was not trying to appease us in any way. Then, the old chestnut 'you're the first person to complain'. So?....Brits don't!! Doesn't prove anything. I said what are you going to do? Nothing. He continued to argue with me in front of customers... I had to tell him his job i.e. To take it off bill as it was inedible. He took half off. Waitresses were nice and helpful though!

One of the best coffee shops in the town, great staff and fast service, daily newspapers to read and relax, you are never rushed to leave your table.

The last couple of times we have tried to come here, we have been unable to simply down to the fact that it is super popular and always busy. We only came for coffee this time (always excellent) but you can stop by for lunch or a delicious cake. Service is always friendly and I think the fact that it is always so popular speaks for itself.

Mocha coffee is lovely here, comes in a glass if glasses available, sometimes not! It does look great in a glass and tastes great but never ever comes hot! A coffee should be served hot, please.

Just stopped for a couple of hours at this lovely town and wanted refreshments and came across this little place. We made out order, only a pot of tea for two. It arrived quickly. Was nice and refreshing but when we came to pay found the price a bit steep.

The food and coffees are very good in this cafe and always like going here. However at weekends service is a major problem as soon as they have more than half the tables full. Having to go and get my own menus and then waiting for 20 minutes for a coffee isn't what I expect when there is so much choice in Leamington.

By far the best coffee shop in Leamington. Food is fantastic for breakfast or lunch, service is exceptional and the coffee is delicious. If I have friends around or family we always go here for breakfast each morning. The only issue is space - with it always being so busy due to popularity!

The food is so good here. Love their toasted sandwiches. They have some great variety of fillings that you don't find in every coffee shop you do into. There's loads of different types of teas to try too and they do an amazing latte. They also do a cyphon of coffee too which is great to watch being made.

excellent for coffee or tea, also good for their desserts, and they have gluten free also. staff is very helpful if someone has special diet requirements and try to change the menu in order to provide good customer service. highly recommend it for the price and a nice place to go for breakfast or lunch.

We had yummy cake and delicious hot chocolate. It isn't a cheap place to go and sometimes the service can leave a little to be desired - some of our order was forgotten. Overall I recommend it.

Went for lunch last week with my friend, it was beautiful sunshine and was great to sit outside, all of the restaurants and cafes along Livery Street are great to visit when it's sunny! The coffees were lovely, a little bit more expensive than other places but worth it once in a while! I was pleasantly surprised at the food selection - lots of salads, bruschetta, and panini options. Portions are big as well, I had the bruschetta, with tomatoes, lettuce, pesto, and mozzarella, and my friend had a salad, both priced at £6.50 and was definitely worth it for the quality and size. Will definitely be returning.

Been to bar Angeli on many occasions previously but today killed it for me. My daughters pancake arrived and had a piece of green mouldy banana attached to it. The banana inside the pancake was also brown and over ripe. We told the waitress who took it away and said she'd get another. We had another pancake which was fine. We didn't really get an apology and when I said to the guy on the till that I didn't want to be charged for the pancake he refused saying that we'd had another!! Really rude and blasé about the whole incident!! I can only surmise from this that it happens regularly and they are used to people complaining!! Needless to say we won't be returning!! Such a shame as the coffee is delicious.

Decent enough atmosphere, very average drinks but completely ruined by the surly staff. No hello, no goodbye. They looked bored. If this 'attitude' is meant to be cool then it isn't. Won't be going again. Another establishment in Leamington with its head firmly up its own backside. Avoid.

We've recently moved to the area and we're going round trying each cafe one at a time. This didn't disappoint. It's beautifully authentic inside with a contemporary touch with the copper piping. I loved how uniquely scientific it was how they made the drinks; I've never seen anything like it. Great choice of drinks and food. Good coffee, lovely flavoured tea and we had a sweet pretzel pastry which was delicious. Will definitely be returning.

Sit and enjoy excellent food and coffee that wouldn't be out of place in Italy! Staff attentive and approachable. High quality at a reasonable price. Watch out for the three elephants!!!

Whenever my wife wants me to go shopping with her in Leamington, I will only agree on condition that we have a coffee and pain au raisin in Bar Angeli. Best coffee outside New Zealand.

While visiting Leamington with family dropped into Bar Angeli. Each of us had a different coffee and all were superb. Did not have anything to eat but salads etc looked very appetising. Highly recommend

I keep coming back as I think this is one of the top cafes in Leamington spa. I like the coffee and the food is fresh. I can recommend the Salmon and celeriac remoulade bruschetta, as it is perfect for a quick light lunch and I really enjoyed it! A big bonus is that they are also one of the few places to serve affogato.

Cake seemed dry perhaps cold from being in the display. Latte milk was chalky but lower down the coffee improved. OK but not great and for me Habano remains the best coffee in Leamington. Coffee Architects have the best cakes.

This place is a great find in Livery Street which has become the go to area in Leamington for drinks and eats. Really chilled out and nice pleasant staff. The coffee was to die for also for brekkie try the scrambled egg and salmon, tasty or what.

Walking past this place, we looked in and checked the menu and were taken in by the atmosphere!The result, we had to try this place and let me tell you, we were not disappointed by the setting, decor, service, the passion of the owner about his coffee, hot chocolate and food items on his menu!When in Leamington Spa and looking to chill out over a coffee, tea hot chocolate...etc, don't go to Starbucks, Costa or any other coffee chain, just go here, because it beats all them hand down!

Every time we go into Leamington we stop by Bar Angeli. If you love coffee this is the best there is in town by a mile. I only wish they did slight bigger cups, it's so good. You can usually get a table or a stool at the bar or worst case you can share a bench table with others. Sitting outside in the summer is gorgeous and inside in winter is as cosy as you'd like. Food is pretty good too. Sometimes the service is slow but it's a small price to pay for such awesome coffee

I love this place because the coffee is great! As well as this you can usually get a table, there's outdoor seating which is nice in the summer, and the staff are really great and take your coffee order from the table rather than you having to queue at the till. There's a good selection of coffee types, and some interesting methods of coffee brewing that I had never come across in a coffee shop before. There's also a selection of cakes which look nice although I've never tried them. I've eaten paninis here a few times which are great as a light lunch, and are much better than chain coffee shops since you can see them making the paninis fresh with good, fresh ingredients after you order them.

Love this place for a mid morning coffee stop off. Incredible range of coffee on offer, a great deflection of delicious cakes (orange and poppy seed is amazing!) and lovely lunches too. It's always busy and that really adds to the authentic Italian coffee shop feel.

For the last 5+ years, I was a happy and loyal customer, visiting several times a week and never having cause to complain, until recently. A few weeks ago, my cappuccino looked and tasted a bit 'strange', so I didn't drink it. When I politely mentioned this at the till, the Manager's response was very dismissive, advising it hadn't been made any differently as before and continued to charge me for it. Why ask if the coffee is ok, if they don't want the feedback? My partner and I were appalled by their obvious focus on making money in favour of providing a decent level of customer care. We have since taken our custom elsewhere to another local independent coffee shop and also received free drinks, as they have a loyalty card! Bad form Bar Angeli. You are losing £100s of pounds in revenue from us, for the sake of £2.20. We shall NOT be returning.

Bar none the best place for coffee in Leamington. The steam punk syphon coffee with a Guatemalan single origin bean hits all the tastebuds in absolutely the right way!The classic bruschetta is a fabulous fresh tasty dish with beautifully ripened tomatoes piled high on crusty toasted bread drizzled with high quality olive oil and sweet balsamic. Good to the last bite.The tables are almost always full, testament to the great coffee and superb light bites served by friendly staff.The eclectic interior coupled with softly playing jazz makes this an oasis in the centre of Leamington.
