Ordered at 7m for asap, allocated time was 8.10-8.30 order arrived at 9 pm (2 hrs after ordering). Restaurant was non-contactable. Food was good and arrived hot.

I saw "Sweet & Sour Chicken Breast Cantonese Style" as an option for 20p more than "Sweet & Sour Chicken Cantonese Style". I thought it would be the same usual battered chicken but with only breast meat, how wrong it was. This was unbattered chicken.

We've ordered from here a few times and unfortunately the food is absolutely VILE!!! How can they charge for this cardboard tasting 'food'. Don't order from here!

Salt & pepper beef was 98% batter. where's the beef? Sesame prawn toast tasted like sesame chicken toast, even looked like chicken, incredibly dry. So disappointed. You work hard all week and treat yourself to a chinese and wish you hadn't bothered.

Not only was a little late - but the chicken did not taste like chicken - it was either gone off or was not chicken at all or very poor cuts of meat it tasted awful and all went in bin - salt pepper chips we’re stale also - not a great experience .

food was not worth what we paid. small portions of fry chicken not even full containers. definitely not ordering from them ever again.

Good and as excellent as ever. Minor observation re delivery- again too early. Why?? I suppose early is better than late? But it’s still inconvenient . Delivery driver was pleasant and good though.

In my opinion, The Rising Sun is the best Chinese food in Leamington spa. I love the quality of the meat used. They give you mushrooms included in the curry. Not sold as an extra, like many other takeouts do. It always arrives hot too.

The Chinese we ordered was dry and because of their vague noodle choices. We ended up ordering a noodle type we didn’t enjoy.

As always, fast delivery, hot! well cooked food, would highly recommend!

Best Chinese food in my opinion. Great quality meat and nice curry with mushrooms added as standard. Unlike many of the other restaurants. I've been getting my food from The Rising Sun for years. It's never disappointed me. Highly recommend them.

Spend over 20 pounds and prawn crackers are free.tbh they where the best part of the meal food was hot but no flavor whatsoever 😩

First time ordering and food was very good.Pleasantly surprised. The delivery tool almost an hour which is not ideal but it we where aware of this so no issue at all.

Ordered a delivery through a well known site. When it arrived we were missing the spring rolls and when I rang Rising Sun to explain, the response was that the chef got the order wrong. No apology. When I asked if the item could be sent, I was told they were too busy. Again no apology. The curry was bland and had no flavour. Extremely disappointed.

Absolutely horrendous food , arrived raw and was feeding my daughter to realise the chicken balls were clearly not cooked. Luckily I noticed before she ate it as this would have made her extremely poorly. No refund given no care about what happened. Needs to be shut down..

Just been and got my supper King prawn curry with chips only four prawns lots of mushrooms as I plated it is was chips with King prawn soup don’t think I will return poor food for the money. 😒

Our food was burnt, absolutely horrible, we thought we were going to have a good munch of Chinese but it all went terribly wrong. When i called them back and returned the food they gave the wrong amount of food. Im absolutely shocked.

1st time order following the closure of our favourite Chinese. We’ve tried a few to replace our old Chinese takeout after it closed down. And wow!!! We have found our new replacement! The food, quality, taste and service amazing!!! Thank you so much. Loved it. Brilliant, you must try!

They never brought my order and did not give me a refund. They couldn’t find me and when I contacted them to ask what happened they just hung up and made no effort to help.

Third takeaway from here last night. Again the food arrived promptly and still hot. Brilliant Sesame Prawn toast. Really enjoyed my Tiger Lil. One minus point my wife ordered Cantonese Sweet & Sour King Prawn but it turned into Chicken when it got us - still very tasty but not what was ordered !

Ordered sweet and sour chicken and it was one of the best I've had so far. Well done, portion was quite generous. Will definitely order again!

They used to deliver here all the time, now all of a sudden they’ve stopped, my order was accepted and then cancelled so 30 minutes later I find out this, so they waste my time to regards, Lord Jeffrey Morris

Ordered through a popular food delivery site because they didn't have a full address they called once to confirm. I missed the call and instead of trying again they cancelled our order I called to offer the full address once I realised and they refused to pit the order through

Ordered through uber eats which usually includes address. Didnt prompt me to add. Called the restaurant to give them my address and was told that they had cancelled the order without waiting for me to provide the information they needed. Absolute joke

It's a decent Chinese, only problem is the wait times - excruciatingly long no matter what night of the week it is - over 60mins for delivery's sometimes bordering on 2 hours. Need to hire more drivers.

My usual takeaway was closed so as this is the nearest I thought I'd give it a go, huge mistake. I collected the £19 order, chicken fried rice, chicken undercooked, chicken chow mein was cold, chips, cold, could clearly tell they weren't fresh, they were overcooked, salt & pepper chips, well it was the same manky chips thrown on some uncooked onion & other bits, never will I go here again. I did get a full refund upon taking the food back to show them.

To be honest, this is probably the worst Chinese takeaway I’ve ever had. I believe that I could have made it better for a fraction of the price. I ordered sweet and sour chicken balls, shrimp chow mien, char Sui (which is my favourite dish) & duck pancakes. The only thing alright in that was the duck. The chow mien was shocking, I’ve never had such repulsive and moist version in my life, it felt maybe like the ingredients were expired, or that it wasn’t cooked properly. It just appals me as I cook and it felt like no effort or any care was taken in making it. And I’m pretty sure this should be a staple dish for a Chinese takeaway. Chicken balls I’ve never had this bad the batter was rock solid and it was a pain to eat. This is just meant to be a massive chicken nugget but somehow this wasn’t even made properly and all that’s done to it is to deep fry it ! The char Sui was over cooked aswell and this was disappointing as I love this dish. Probably the best thing was the prawn crackers. I think the staff, owner need to sit down and have a chat and see if this is really how they want a customer to feel. I’ll probably never order from here again & definitely will never recommend this to anyone, unless I’ve got a problem with them. Utterly shocked and still annoyed 3 days later.

Placed order for preorder for a 20:30 delivery but received a text via just eat at 20:11 telling me it has been cancelled. No reason given. The "restaurant" had several hours to organise my order but obviously either didn't care or forgot. Won't be going back

Don’t even think this place should even be rated absolutely disgusting ordered a chicken chow mien and it was shop bought frozen chicken the best part was the lettuce from the yuck sung everything else went in the bin £35 worth what a joke rude on the phone will never order again 🤮

Ordered Chinese for New Year on just eat with the Rising Sun. The service was on time and the driver was friendly and remembered where my house was, which was great because it can be difficult to find. The food was delicious, large portions so great value for money and they even gave us a few extra spring rolls for new year, which was a kind treat after the crazy year of 2020. Nothing super fancy, but a great place to order from if you are just looking for a nice, hearty Chinese.

Order arrived promptly and food was still hot enough to eat even reaching Warwick. The food was delicious I had squid starter and the meal for 1 deal.. all great.

Ordered from here 3 times now, the food is always good and delivered within a reasonable time, also the best value for money! I'm sure you won't be disappointed

THEY cancelled order after a LONG wait. Still can't explain why.

I worried about being able to find a good Chinese after moving to Leamington from Brighton. No longer ! What an amazing meal I just had, the duck with orange and the chicken balls were fantastic.

Was staying overnight locally and ordered food to be delivered to the hotel. Was not expecting room service and left mobile number to meet in hotel car park. Delivery driver was incredibly rude and aggressive when I arrived, to the point I felt intimidated by him and left. Called the takeaway to complain as felt they should know who was representing their company and they were apologetic. Opened the food and the order was wrong. Sweet and sour sauce was now sweet and sour pork and while some might appreciate that, my daughter is vegetarian. Poor all round, very disappointing and driver was particularly awful.

Was totally crap would never ever visit again the chicken tasted ransid and so did the chilli beef. The only thing stable was the rice

First time ordering from this takeaway and was very impressed with the delivery, presentation and quality of the food. The portions are quite large (i.e. 3 mains would feed 4) and we felt for what we got, it was good value. The Thai noodles were very tasty, as was the chicken curry. The sweet & sour chicken balls were epic. Could have done with just a bit more sauce given the size of the balls and the quantity of fried rice! All in all a very good meal and will use again.

Generous portions, consistently good food and reasonable prices

We ordered with them through Just Eat and the food was lukewarm when it arrived. Both the satay sauce and the black bean sauce were watery and tasteless, and along with this the vegetables tasted bitter and chemically? The spring rolls were not cooked properly and soggy. The whole meal was disgusting for both of us, and we also found a black hair in one of our meals and have also not been able to stop going to the toilet all morning. We also did not receive the free prawn crackers for spending over £13, but with how the rest of the food was it is probably for the best we didn’t get them. We usually order from Happy Kitchen which we’ve never had problems with, but they were closed for Chinese New Year.

Very poor takeaway, beef & duck full of fat, ended up throwing the food away, not cheap so annoying waste of money. Felt vexed enough to ring & complain, the chef was told about our call, had the cheek to disagree, he should have been given our meal, before disagreeing with the customer, felt they could offer 30% discount off next takeaway, incredible attitude, if I had customers ring & complain, the least I would offer was a full credit next time! Definitely won’t be using there again, has been going downhill for sometime now, but this was the final straw, would not recommend using! Unhappy customer !

Ordered a takeaway which wasn’t cheap, beef & duck full of fat & inedible, have used this takeaway before, but noticed quality of food going down, but prices up. Felt I should ring them & complain about the food, chef didn’t agree with my comments, but as a gesture said next meal would have 30%off, incredible response, obviously don’t listen to customers, we have never complained before, not always happy, but accepted it, until the next time.... This was the last time we shall use this takeaway, forget their paltry discount, would rather avoid risk of stomach ache! Avoid

Bit disappointed as I bought egg fried rice but it just turned out to be a jasmine rice. The taste was so blend as well.

It's very very good - my go to for chinese! I live pretty close so nice and convenient but personally think it's better than paw paw.

I do normally order from here but I never will again as I am 35 weeks pregnant and all night I have been suffering with food poisoning and so has my boyfriend! I still can't keep anything down and may have to ring labour ward to see about having my baby early as at risk!! Angry doesn't even come close!!!

My go to place for a chinese, there dishes labeled spicy and actually spicy which is a rarity now-a-days... It's fairly cheap, good is very good and take away is prompt. Would recommend!
