I find realy delitefull place to eat,yet it has a difference, I the food will go on conver belt ,then you choose by food cold on the belt sushe or fish ,,the hot food will be served by the waiter,which find was polite and crtiuse, the food looks lovey.

SO SO unclean! I would avoid this place at all cost. Nice food but you don't feel you can trust a place with actual urine in the bathroom and greasy seating. From of house were nice but seemed a bit inexperienced. There was a box of washing up sat on our seats as we got seated and nothing was wiped down. I RARELY complain about anywhere. I really mean it when I say this was a very uncomfortable customer experience.

I recently had an utterly disappointing experience at Yo Sushi in Leamington Spa, which has led me to leave this one-star review. Despite being a regular patron and usually enjoying my visits, this time was an absolute nightmare. My party ordered, including two pumpkin katsu curries, only to receive a crispy prawn dish instead. We politely explained the error, clarifying our order for the pumpkin katsu curry, but the staff returned with prawn katsu curry, completely disregarding our dietary preferences as vegetarians. The ordeal escalated when the staff member became incredibly rude and antagonistic, arguing vehemently that we had ordered the prawn dish. Their unprofessional behavior extended to gossiping about us with other staff members, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere for the remainder of our meal. It was an appalling display of customer service, with staff members openly challenging and disregarding our legitimate concerns. Thankfully, the chef eventually intervened and rectified the mistake by preparing the correct dish. However, the damage was done, and the experience left a sour taste in our mouths. As long-standing patrons of Yo Sushi, it's disheartening to have such a negative encounter. After this incident, we have decided not to return. It's a shame that a once enjoyable dining spot has now become synonymous with rude and incompetent service.

Good, but not as good as it used to be. We travel quite a distance to visit this Yo! as it was always one of the better ones. Always order a fair amount of hot food to go with the sushi plates. One of our favourites fell far short of what it should be. The pepper squid, something always order, was really not great and not anything like how it should be. New recipe or just poorly made? Only one high chair, and is in a really poor state and clearly needs replacing. Good but not great as once was. Sadly not in a rush to go back.

Food was really good and the service was great till we got to the end of our meal. We were left waiting 34 minutes for bill after asking. I had to get ready to leave before anyone would come over. There seems to be a priority on takeaway orders then actual customers in the restaurant. Such a shame as this lets the experience down.

What has happened to Yo Sushi? It's been about a year since I last went and it's not the same experience anymore. Firstly we were kicked out at 9:00pm on a Saturday night- had I known they were shutting so early I would have gone somewhere else or planned our evening differently. As a result the atmosphere at 8:00pm was dire - appart from a constant stream of Just Eat drivers we were the only two in there. I had planned to spend a relaxed couple of hours eating but after 45 minutes we were told to pay up & leave. Just as well- since there was nothing going round the conveyor belt by then!! My next issue is the food ordering system- call me old fashioned but I'd rather not use QR codes and phones to order food. I feel like I'm doing someone out of job and I also miss pressing the table button for the amusing sound effects! The new 'service' system is seriously lacking especially if you don't have a phone. Food quality was acceptable- but again I'm sure something has changed here since my last visit. There seems less on the menu and more 'lower standard' items? I was also dissapointed that Saporo beer was no longer available..... In conclusion - we are not in a hurry to go back anytime soon.

My son specifically requested to go to the sushi place for his 7th birthday treat. We went straight after school so early evening and the restaurant was empty apart from us and the staff. The conveyor belt was very empty, and we were informed that the staff were in the process of restocking but this didn't happen until nearer the end of the meal, so I kept having to request items, which although sounds like not a hardship, my son really really likes picking items from the conveyor belt as it helps him keep control over his situation (as an ASD/PDA child this is crucial to any outing). Despite being very quiet the service was slow when we had to request things, a number of times it took a good five minutes to even get someone's attention as they were either out of the room, working on a laptop or just not looking in our direction, and at one point we received only half an app order (I resorted to this as it was easier), and I had to chase up on it, to be told the order hadn't come through (yet we received half of it?). That said the food was very nice and overall my son did like it, but the lack of choice did dysregulate him which was a shame.

The food is really good. Staff is friendly and provides good service. Mobile signal is bad inside the restaurant and there is no WiFi so accessing the menu and ordering from phone is difficult and at times impossible. Some dishes are not available majority of the time so ask the staff what will be/not be available before ordering to avoid disappointment. This restaurant tilts towards luxury so is pricey.

The menu is now lackluster, the menu a few years ago was great. It seems to have been reduced to much fewer options. In this particular branch the conveyor belt seems to be mostly empty all the time. The staff are friendly and great though.

Women serving us didnt know how to use the system to activate my student discount so she made an excuse that its not possible yet when i went to another branch they were able to use the system to activate my student discount? Due to this i ended up losing out on savings 10 pounds which is a lot as a student. Emailed head office and they are worse! Just ignored my email.

This will be the last time I go to a yo! Sushi for a long time. The prices have gone way up and the quality of food and staff have gone way down. I was asked if we had allergies, I said I can't have cucumber and I'm vegetarian. The server just said look out for the V symbols and rest the ingredients...that's fine. Ordered Pumpkin Katsu curry, was given Chicken Katsu Curry. Told the staff member who served us, he said he will be over in a moment but had to seat some waiting guests...no problem.... Then he just never returned. Had to get up to tell a different member of staff over the other side, she then asked the chef who said "yes I made Chicken Katsu". ?! By the time I had a new one my partner has mostly finished his meal, such a shame as it was for my birthday as well. The katsu was actually not as nice as normal, the rice was just so soggy with the amount of curry sauce. Normally you get to mix it yourself. The vegetable yakisoba was also completely drowned in sauce which made it taste very oily. Not many vegetables in it either. The fries were expensive for the portion. There were only a few people sitting in eating so no excuse for the lack of staff available and food going wrong. Menus were sticky and had food one them. Yo! Has gone way down and wish we hadn't spent our money and my birthday meal here.

Wasn't a good visit. I generally visit sushi places because I'm gluten intolerant and sushi is generally gluten free. No allergen information on the menu, one must ask specially for it and it comes in a separate spreadsheet that takes some time to decipher. The quality of food and the options were not great. I probably won't return. On a side note, cellular reception was really bad here and they had online menus. I tried for 15 mins before giving up and asking for a manual order.

Ordered food through Uber, either the driver was given the incorrect order from the restaurant or he gave us completely incorrect food. When we called to rectify he said it “wasn’t his responsibility” which is laughable because surely his entire job role is deliver correct orders thus making it his responsibility to give us our correct food order? Then to top it off YoSushi!’s genius phone system gives you an automated message about bookings for a few minutes with no option to speak to a member of staff, and then a “mailbox” where you can leave a message and they’ll get back to you “as soon as possible” which is full. So, complete wrong food, no refund in sight, abrupt and rude delivery drive, no reasonable contact with restaurant or driver and date night is ruined. YoSushi & Ubereats DO BETTER.

Had three sushi plates, 2 edamame. Ordered fried rice for the little but came mixed with chili powder through it so sent it back to be changed for one without but they forgot and ended up waiting 20 mins until they realised. Was offered plate of plain rice for free but even with that cost £27 to feed 2 kids and I didn't even eat anything except a few leftover bites. Can someone teach me the method of not paying through the nose for nearly no food at Yo Sushi?

Excellent Sushi! Plenty of great choices including sharing platters which are really good value. Food is always amazing here and extremely tasty and fresh. Staff are great and welcoming. Went for Birthday and got a smiley face Birthday card which was a really nice touch! If you have Blue Light card it really cuts the overall cost, but look out for their offers too as these can be great value!

It has been a while sine I had last visited YoSushi and I am very disappointed to say that they have gone to an app based ordering system. This means they exclusively use the conveyor belt to deliver your food and drink. However if you need anything like a refill on your bottomless green tea or a fork for example for the non sticky rice that is supposed to be sticky, you have to get out of your seat to try and find one of the extremely few staff (as they no longer need them to serve tables) to ask for help. Now from this point I might being picky but the food is not as good as good as it used to be and in some cases, smaller portion like the Miso soup. No one asked if the food was ok or if we need anything and as alway the case food can be slow, we had finished all of our food and had to wait an additional 15 minutes for the edamame to arrive (ordered well over an hour before) personal would expect it to be the first Item out. I have just noticed that there are a lot of 5 star reviews saying how wonderful the service is... I am sure the staff are very nice people and am not targeting them when I write this but there is no service it is all and I mean all done on a app! I would recommend you ignore the 5 star reviews that say the service was great as they are clearly payed or affiliated.

Booked a table for six people several days in advance, but had to wait 15 minutes once we got there, as the table wasn't ready! Then we were shown to a table for four and told it was the biggest they had. If you can't accommodate a party of six, don't accept the booking...simple! So with 4 people on one table and 2 on another, we ordered! It's great that the food is freshly prepared, and it's always good quality but with each dish coming separately we didn't actually manage to eat together! It was a birthday celebration that was marred by sub-standard service, unfortunately. For the sake of a trip from Leamington to Birmingham, the restaurant in Selfridges at the Bullring is WAY better!

I've been here a few times over the past couple of winter months for some warming ramen, but everything YO! do is so good! For some reason whenever I visit, it's quiet, which is perfect as food has been cooked freshly and quickly. Vegan options are unbelievable: vegan sushi, meatless farm katsu and the plant based JFC are my favourite atm 🤩🤩 alongside refillable miso soup 😋 It's also super easy to order with the web app (you may need to connect to WiFi as the signal can be a bit rubbish) and get points for doing so! There's a really chilled vibe from the staff here, they're busy yet always happy to lend a hand with whatever they can. Thanks for a great experience every time!

Never been here before, always been a faithful Wagamama client but we tried it and it's so good! Also the prices are much better, the staff were all so friendly, even the chef who chatted to us. They cater for vegans, everything is clearly marked, easily order and pay on your phone and it arrives straight to your table on a belt! The veggie platter, and the vegan choc doughnuts were delicious! Will definitely be back as they also have a reward scheme! Far better than Wagamama!

I just feel it’s overrated and hyped. Checking the publicity and popularity we had gone to this place. We also had ordered Korean chicken and Katsu curry. Korean chicken was supposed to be spicy however they made it sweet and spicy. Even Katsu curry was ok. However being a sushi place was hoping for better ones in even size, taste and portion .. cheers .. 🙂

Been to this restaurant during the half term and I'm feeling disappointed 😞. We love Yo sushi, and we go every time we have a chance. But our last visit wasn't very nice. Very confused, we wait to much for our dishes and we love to seat close to the chefs and see the preparations, but this time we saw a lot of confusion and mess inside the kitchen. Staff very kind but quite adisappointment our last visit.

Used to regularly frequent but post covid the quality of the food, the atmosphere, or lack there of, and the abysmal service made me regret ever going back. Better Japanese restaurants in Leamington, try Hayashi on Warwick St, or Nana's on Regent Street, even Wagamama's is better. Avoid Yo Sushi if you want to live without regret in your life.

I love going to yo sushi with my partner and leamington is the easiest to get to. The food is hot and delicious, you are able to inform staff of your preferences and if they can edit the food they usually do. Its always good to book ahead if there are more than 2 of you as there are a limited booths.

Previously there were colour plates on the coveyor each colour belonging to a certain price group and you were picking what you want from the conveyor without ordering any thing and were paying for the sum of colour plates at the end which I liked the most but now that system is changed now you need to order via online site pointed by a QR code and your order just stops the conveyor at your table for you to pick up and when your order comes closer to you the light at your table shows white to get you ready. If your order is crowded it lines up at your table and some time you can't unload them from the conveyor in time and it starts moving again and make another tour then stops at your table again. This new style is also good but in the previous version it was good to see what's on the conveyor and then decide. You need to ask for the wasabi, it is not available at the table like the soya sauce. It is a little expensive TBH by the way.

The food was nice, as usual. However, we were asked if we'd been before, which we had. But maybe not recently enough, as you can now only order via a mobile app (which you need to download, install, register etc) and I could not find all the items on the physical menu, on the app. It was a frustrating experience. It might have helped if the staff had been more clear when we were seated that there is a 'new' ordering system.

UPDATE. Went here for a birthday meal. The food was nice. We ordered a large size meal for one person and the bowl was the same size as all of our small bowls. We asked a waitress if it was right. She said yes. We've since found out that she was wrong. Our dinner came quickly. Around 15 minutes. But our puddings took an hour or more to arrive. We just wanted to leave. That's just too long to wait for a small pudding. We had to ask twice. I'm never going here again. *EDIT. So yo sushi saw my review and asked me to email them. I did. They asked for info. I provided what I could. They said they refunded me a partial amount. I never recieved it. 2 months later!!! I'm about to give up. Absolutely useless. Now changed my rating to 1 star.

First time at Yo Sushi and it was good! My chicken was a bit chewy which is why I’ve put 4 stars but the rest of the food was great! The dynamite sushi rolls were the best and I’d definitely recommend.

Really disappointing meal. We spent £30 through Deliveroo. And this is what we received. They missed out one of our main meals… when we phoned up they said the didn’t have any. I shouldn’t be able to order and pay for it if that is the case. The sushi platter was all broken. It didn’t come with any soy sauce/ginger like it would in the restaurant. And the mushroom ramen was absolutely tasteless. No flavour at all. So gutted I spent £30 on this. Rubbish service from both Deliveroo and Yo Sushi.

What a terrible experience. Don’t order form them, no point, you gone be hungry anyway. Ordered two meals payed nearly £14 and received what? 200grams of food.(look on photo below) 4 pieces of chicken breast and 2 full forks of noodles, absolute joke. When contacted restaurant I got told “this is our portions”. Restaurant menu has no information about portion sizes, photos are misleading and false advertise. If you want to be ripped of like I did then go ahead and order…

I visited Yo Sushi on a Monday evening and was meeting a friend there. It appeared to be understaffed. I had to wait at the door for a while to wait to speak to someone to let them know I had arrived and my friend was already inside. Once in, the new set up wasn't explained to me. Luckily my friend had been before and knew what to do. Ordering is now done through an app which is clever as the conveyer belt is still part of the experience but now bespoke orders stop at your spot with the assistance of laser targeting. The app however was not working properly and despite both of us trying it separately for a second order we had no joy and had to order directly from the waitress. The waitress seemed keen for us to go at the end of our meal as when talking and finishing our drinks we must have been asked if everything was alright 5 or 6 times. (We weren't the last one's in, neither was the restaurant full) the food was tasty as always and we are fans of Yo Sushi and will return again.

Considering the price, I found the sushi poorly prepared. Sushi pieces were small, sashimi was too cold, and the rice was undercooked, hard and falling apart. I wouldn't go back.

I don't know what happened here. I th8nk priority is given to just eat orders. We wait3d to long for food and they messed up our order. It felt very stressful. We had to keep asking for things that we had ordered and they kept forgetting. It was most bizarre

don’t go to this chain, we were the only people in the restaurant yet 2 sushi’s took 30 mins. to focused on delivery’s. sushi was horrible- hot rice and salty. didn’t even put the food on the belt but brang it to our table. not worth coming

Normally a big fan of YO! but this was a highly dissapointing experience. The staff all seemed to run around like headless chickens. The hygiene of the kitchen witnessed was shocking with staff touching a variety of food without washing hands in between. The quality of the food was sub par, receiving food cold and looking like it was just thrown together. Clearly the restaurant prioritised the take-away delivery orders over the customers in the restaurant as the wait for food was unacceptable. Repeatedly having to ask staff about our orders/requests made us feel like no one was listening to us. If you can't be bothered then just close the restaurant.

I can’t believe how much the quality of the restaurant has gone down - this was my second disappointing experience here. First visit was after the first lockdown so I gave them the benefit of the doubt that they were still finding their feet but coming back here a year later, I see that nothing has changed. This visit was my last as I won’t be going back to Yo Sushi anymore. I requested cutlery form the waitress several times as she seemed to forget it the minute she walked away. Felt like I spent most of my time trying to grab her attention rather than enjoy my food. Miso paste has become so watered down that it no longer resembles miso (not sure if this is the restaurant trying to save money), the portion sizes have gone down and prices gone up! Food took half hour to be delivered, which was after us spending half hour trying to log in and get on to the menu as signal was non-existent.

A shadow of its former self. The ordering system has adapted very well to implement covid-safe measures, with all orders now being placed on your phone via a QR code. Unfortunately the quality of the food and portion sizes have dropped dramatically, with sushi that now resembles a disappointing supermarket meal deal. Despite this, to add insult to injury, prices have remained high. We've previously enjoyed this branch of YO! (Pre-covid) and looked forward to going back, but definitely not worth it anymore due to poor quality food whilst prices remain high.
