The best restaurants in Tamworth West Midlands

I’m not sure why this place has several negative nasty reviews. We walked in and it was empty which to me raises alarm bells but really surprised now as the food was exquisite. I stayed in the area a few nights and couldn’t stay away. The wood fire cooked donner was beautiful and not greasy The mains were generous portions and came very fast. I don’t usually write reviews but this place really deserves it. Come on ppl support this local eatery!

Not sure who these people are or how they got my number, but I live nowhere near Tamworth so wouldn't be ordering a takeaway!

What a Shambles. Understaffed, tables full of cups etc, just so bad. The staff-2 are doing their best but it’s all uphill

What a lovely dessert… we had waffles, crepes, milkshake and lemonade and each dish was lovely

Went in today and was made very welcome the cider I had was priced at £2.50p it was was very refreshing the toilets were clean and I will return to try the food I was very impressed

Thought we would get a few drinks from here whilst waiting for our film. Staff were pleasant and friendly. When i went to pay for the drinks my card got declined. So tried another and the same thing happened again. In that time my drinks had been made and were ready. Turns out that my cards were all fine, their card payment system had just crashed as i went to pay. I had no cash to pay so waited for their system to reboot to pay by card. However, their systems were not working, and the manager offered the drinks to me for free which was nice of them. I did return when their system was back, but they said it was ok which was kind of them due to the inconvenience of having to wait. Can't fault the staff for how they dealt with this issue.

Food is usual subway standard but the staff have very little communication skills im sorry to say

I was recommended this place recently and decided to pop in for lunch. Food and drinks were served fast. I decided to try the waffle with bacon, scrambled egg and maple syrup and oh my god it was to die for!! My husband is a pescatarian and wanted a veggie breakfast which they did for him. It wasn't on the menu though so i think they should update their menu's with these options. Otherwise clean tidy and a nice hidden place to eat

Went through the drive through and had to wait for ages. Then when I got my order it was wrong but I'd driven off before I noticed, I ordered a cappuccino and they gave me a watery hot chocolate, probably the worst hot chocolate I've ever had.

Ordered my food paid on the papa johns app, no one turned up, they’ve took my money and done one this store said they can’t help me. a place ran by kids

Wasn't really impressed the gluten free burger came with a backed potato nothing in it not even butter was very dry, my son Didn't really enjoy the meal and neither did I

This place is a breath of fresh air! Clean, well run and well stocked with just about everything you could need. This is what garden centres should be like rather than the boring corporate sameness that we see everywhere else. The catering offer is wonderful and great quality at a fair price. Every member of the team behaves likes it their business and are warm, friendly and knowledgeable. Truly a great place to visit!
