Went in very slow service I ordered a baby chino chocolate for my son and I ordered a medium hot chocolate the girl behind the counter wasn’t very friendly just looked like she didn’t wanna be there so she did our drinks I said can I have cream she pulled a face she said the last shift didn’t make the cream properly so I couldn’t have cream I said r u not meant to ask me if I wanted cream or marshmallows she said no u tell me at this point I know u r meant to ask as the other outlets do I said ok never mind she didn’t want to argue she didn’t even ask for my Costa card either in fact her while attitude was rude. I will never go in there again avoid at all cost!

Every time I’ve been it’s either ignored or they are closed! Don’t bother! At least have the decency to turn and face your customers…

This is a review of Costa in the Tamworth odeon cinema , we went to the cinema Sunday 5th June , checked on costa website for opening hours so we knew we could grab a cuppa to take in to the film .. great they were open till 8.45 .. nope they were shut when we arrived at 7pm, so no hot drinks at all in the complex . This is the third time we have had this issue with this particular Costa outlet . When I questioned them about the website saying the opening closing times the guy just kept repeating “ we close at 6.15 “ and just shrugged his shoulders . Great customer service ..

Costa in Tamworth Odeon seems to choose its own opening hours. The cinema is obviously open in the evening. We went to get a coffee at 5.40pm today only to be told it closes at 5. On previous visits we have been told it closes at 6. On the internet it is advertised as closing at 9pm!!

I do wish my wife would stop asking to go into Costa because the coffee is so weak even with an extra shot I can’t taste much…! I also asked for a shot of caramel and watched the lady make it. I asked if she had put caramel in it she just turned and put some in. Good job she did because I watched her and no caramel went into the coffee. They do not even give out serviettes even with food which I find disgusting. About time there coffee strength was improved. Won’t go again will call into NERO for a proper Coffee…👍

Came to a sold out Spider-Man at 6:40pm and it was closed!!!! Great planning just ridiculous can’t get a coffee - we’ll played

Called in for a quick drink after work, the shop was about to close but Laura squeezed us in for one last drink! We were pleasantly surprised to also be treated to a cake each which would otherwise have gone to waste - great service from Laura and really made our day. Thank you :)

Because it’s attached to the cinema it gets very very busy just before shows but the staff are always there to help and move the queue as quickly as possible

As usual a nice place for a good coffee before, during or after your film in a fantastic cinema. Just been totally refitted and just the job.

Slow service and disorganised. In order to justify the nearly £12 I just paid for a sandwich and two wraps you need to have a fast and friendly service. Instead a woman in a Odeon shirt was getting in everyone’s way. Sometimes taking money, sometimes messing about with food. No plan and no efficiency. She couldn’t find items in the till, would get half way through an order and wander off. Her colleagues in Costa shirts were a little better organised. You have a refitted cinema, a nice comfortable eating area and all looks very high quality. Your service proposition is just too poor though.

As part of all the refurbishments at The Odeon the Costa area has reopened and it is sooo much better than the previous version. It is bright and well-fitted out. Staff are still people we remember and they remember us (always a bonus!). Lovely to take a hot tea in to watch a film. My daughter bought mini biscuits and cakes to go with her hot chocolate. so glad the new Costa is now open with some new comfy chairs as well!

I've only tried the sandwich over here and I liked it. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is cheaper than ordering something from the cinemas' till. A good place to have something before the film.

This coffee shop is cold set in the foyer of the Odeon cinema. The counter was filthy and the tables were filthy. I took my coffee back to my car to discover the coffee was luke warm with a disgusting aftertaste. So thanks guys, good job.

Best costa coffee in Tamworth!! I used to work at costa so know brand standards, can honestly say this is the only costa in Tamworth that doesn’t reheat & boil milk, service is a little slow but it is better to wait for a good coffee than be rushed and served rubbish, staff are a credit to the management!

I've been here a few times and always enjoy interacting with the team as they are a friendly crew. But Costa would do well to invest a little more training here, I drink a lot of coffee and use many Costa's all over the country... But the drinks here are at best average. I'm sure the barista's could do better if they were just trained a bit more.

We went to costa before going to the cinema on Christmas Eve and we were left waiting for 25mins, they took the order quickly but took such a long time getting the drinks to us, by the time we had received all our drink we had missed and the trailers and the very start of the film. The other thing was , it wasn’t as thought there was only one person working with loads of orders, there were 3/4 staff there, some just waiting around.

Oh dear ... I love Costa but the service at this franchise was a lot to be desired ... got my order incorrect , didn’t get my points added ... the manager seemed to be interfering in the other servers trying to hurry things up but the lack of communication meant she was just as bad and getting things incorrect .... despite telling the server we wanted to eat in and him getting things ready to serve us food etc on a plate etc we were served as if we were taking it away ... The food was warm and the One of the coffees were Luke warm due to waiting for them to correct the order . The service was so slow and glad we actually went an hour or so before our film as it took so long to serve.This is not Costa’s usual standard as this has to be one of the worst places for service just so disorganised. I will have to think twice about using this place as a meet up place again

Although it gets busy when films are soon to start (which should be expected) this is great meeting place with friendly staff. Just be aware of the car parking charges if you visit before 6pm as the car park is patrolled regularly.

It's a Costa, so you know what you are getting. Drinks hot, freshly prepared, staff never been anything but pleasant. They just need to keep on top on cleanliness. They also tend to close off areas with chairs, which is annoying.

Shocking 1 day drinks were Luke warm Today order 2 large and drink was at least 3half inches from top. Shocking plus unable to contact them by phone ......

Popped in here for breakfast had a hot chocolate and all the trimmings I also had a toasted sandwich which was nice the staff behind the counter I found to be very friendly.

I visit this costa a great deal and have always been very impressed with the attentive friendly nature of the staff. Wish they would accept costa gift cards but as it's franchised, they don't unfortunately.

Tuvimos tiempo antes de la película comenzó, así que nos fuimos a tomar un café. El servicio era un poco lento, y nos sentamos a gritos para recoger la copa que tuvimos que esperar. Las bebidas estaban bien, pero el servicio era pobre. He tenido un mejor servicio en otras costas.

No me gusta mi café a ser caliente - me gusta muy caliente y el personal se aseguró de que mi latte es simplemente cómo me gusta! También tienen un personal amable que pregunte qué película vamos a decir y desearnos una noche agradable. También hay aperitivos y pasteles, si te apetece aunque el ruido para comer en el cine viendo una película!

It may of course have been a one off and all other customers may have received a hot and promptly served Cappuccino. The Barista was attentive and friendly, but was swilling and agitating the milk jug for so long in pursuit of the best froth consistency that the net result was lukewarm milk over half a shot of coffee, some confusion over who made the order (which was understandable given the time between order and actual service delivery) and a dash to the cinema screen so as not to be late. The Costa is in a great spot at the cinema, and doesn't require a mortgage to buy a drink (buy from the Odeon for that displeasure!), but on this occasion it was painfully slow in delivering.

Always a nice stop before the film. The cakes and snacks in Costa are better value and more substantial than the cinema food on offer. You can take them in with you to watch the film or eat in the pleasant cafe area. The cakes and snacks are all really nice and fresh (have tried most of them). Staff are very professional and helpful. Always look smart. Coffee stops should all be this nice.

The staff here are very friendly and we bought our drinks to take into the film with us. You can pop in for a coffee without watching a film if you prefer.

This Costa is really nice it's just inside the foyer. There are chairs tables and settes making it a nice place to relax before or after watching a film. The only downside is it can get really busy so the queues are quite long.

For what it is it is excellent. Inside the Odeon cinema complex with an excellent selectionStaff are always friendly and service is quickVery bright and modern interior

Popped in to get my usual caramel latte before a visit to the cinema, was served by a young chap who was incredibly polite. Coffee was spot on. Nice to be served by someone who seems happy to be there.

Whenever we go to the cinema a costa is a must. I only drink their coffee/latte as it has the best taste. Coolers are lovely as well

Came for a coffee and cake before our film ... Brought a bottle of pop to take in was drinking this throughout the film thinking it tasted strange but thought it was because id just eaten cake

I always love a Costa but some are better than others. This one was very popular but had a good variety of cakes, sandwiches and toasties. Grandchildren had hot chocolate, they were very generous with the marshmallows. I like the fact they have soya milk for my latte. 3 toilets available, one disabled and one ladies and one gents, a bit narrow, but clean

Credit where it's due, I know it's only coffee but this Costa delivers on every level. Sian's customer service was absolutely brilliant and the hot drinks were exactly as requested.

feels like it has been shoe horned into the cinema. we were meeting up with family for a movie and decided on a coffee before. choosing the seating int corner away from the draft of the doors proved a mistake as the noise for the coffee grinder was horrendous. perhaps they should borrow a silencer from Bond..

We have visited 3 times. The last time was the worst experience. We had to wait seemingly forever for two drinks to be made. The counter where the drinks were made looked like a bomb had hit it, there was spills from drinks and chocolate powder all over the counter. Whilst this had no effect on the drinks, it didn't give a good impression of cleanliness. If it is allowed to get this dirty in front of customers, then you must ask what is happening behind the scenes. The tables were left uncleaned, and it was not busy at all with only 3 people seated. Need to try harder !

The staff are incredibly slow, I have never been to a Costa like it before. They were more interested in having a laugh with each other than serving the customers. They messed up orders, confused the order of the customers so that people were missed and prepared food and drinks in a mess. I regularly visit Costa around the country and was appalled by the level of professionalism the staff showed.

What can I say. The food and drinks are very nice but unfortunately Costa still seem to take an eternity to serve you. We been to the cinema quite few times and on each occasion we've been into Costa and each time the service is the same....pain stakingly slow! On one occasion it resulted in us nearly missing the start of the film... it took that long!!!

Lovely environment, helpful staff and delicious drinks and snacks. I come here often and love it. Prices are high but this is common at Costa, doesn't stop me returning. People unhappy about waiting- the staff work as hard as they can in a small space with large queues, they do a good job if you ask me

Standard prices for drinks/cakes etc and you can take drinks in to the cinema. Much better value than the complete rip off of kiosk inside!

After telling the counter staff twice what we wanted, she still got it wrong. After waiting forever to get served in the first place we just accepted the wrong order. How difficult is it to order 2 coffees? Very, according to the intelligence of the staff.

The coffee is fairly standard Costa stuff (not that nice if you know your coffee) but the service is dreadfully slow, which seems to be a symptom of Costa. If you want a coffee to take into your film, arrive early.

Thank you so much to the Odeon staff and Costa staff at Tamworth for making sure my son and daughter and their 2 friends were ok after the film. i was stuck in traffic on my way to pick them up this afternoon- i phoned up Tamworth odeon/costa staff and they were so so helpful and made sure all the kids were ok and provided them with drinks until i arrived - i cant thank you enough - the children felt happy to wait in costa - i will definitely be returning

As we have come to expect at Costa a perfect coffee & friendly, cheerful staff. Spotlessly clean throughout. A real must visit!

I pop in here with family now and again to have a catch up. I love the hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream. Tables and service area are always clean. Staff are always friendly and polite. Cant fault it.

I like to use this place to take my coffee into the cinema it is a very convenient location. It also has a selection of small snacks that are very convenient for people who don't like popcorn or sweets.

took my wife to the pictures and decided to get an iced caramel drink however it wasn't the one i liked and the lady behind the counter noticed and asked what the problem was i told her i had ordered the wrong one and didn't like this one no problem she said took mine off me and made me a different one which was delicious definitely go back service was really good

I go every sunday before my weekly cinema trip. They do exactly what you would expect and do it well. Good coffee served quickly by staff who are always friendly and will ask about what film you're seeing and can even give a recommendation if you want!

Not much to say here, The coffee was good, and the service friendly and pleasant. It's never been busy when i've visited, so never had to queue up. It's just a shame i ordered the wrong coffee for the wife! Ooops. Still it tasted it though.

I wouldn't visit here if you don't have plenty of time to wait for your drink but the coffee is fine and the staff are friendly.

Handy Costa Coffee as its located with the ODEON cinema. Very friendly staff who always ask what film I am about to watch or been to see. You only usually get syrups with "Seasonal Drinks" but if you ask the staff for, say, a Black Forest Hot Chocolate they will do it for you providing that they stock the cherry sauce, which other Costas will not do. I always either sit in or take a drink to the cinema with me. Like all Costas, I won't buy food here though as its too expensive.

If you need a quick coffee from Costa then nip in here, if you time it right you can drop in here for a quick takeaway coffee, no big queue here. If you don't mind looking out over the cinema car park its also very quiet if want a peaceful relaxing coffee, just the ticket.Coffee and service is just as good as anywhere else, just no big queue!Love it......

I love the white hot chocolate Costa sells. It's a lovely taste.This place was very quiet, but it was a Monday and by the looks of it not many people visit the cinema then either.The staff were friendly, smiling and helpful.Can't go to wrong. They just need to lower the prices of the cakes and sweets they have there though. Pretty expensive for such a small item of food.

We were served straight away with a smile and our drinks made promptly and we're what we ordered ...All in all very good ...would use this outlet again

I go to this coffee shop every time I use the cinema. I understand from working in a coffee shop myself in the past that its hard to keep up the pace which I do think the 2 staff that were on were trying their best. One thing that bothered me the most was the attitude of one blonde female member of staff to the customers before me. She had accidentally forgot to make their drinks and they had been waiting about 10 minutes as they had ordered way before I'd even made my mind up. When they asked where their drinks were, instead of apologising she made an excuse that the reciept must have got lost and she will continue making it once she's finished the other orders. The customers before me were obviously annoyed and she did not try to reassure them at all which due from my own experience needs to be done. I found it arkward to watch. When she had made their drinks they asked if they could have a carrier case as they was taking it out and instead of giving them the case like they asked she was insisting that the cups won't get any hotter then they already were so they didn't need one. When they explained again they were taking out she then gave them a carrier case. Once again she had not apologised for their wait or her mistake. I have been to this costa since and it hasn't been as bad as this but I just did it disappointing that the staff aren't trained how to act around customers.

Went to Costa. The Manager was exteremely rude to a man on his phone. She was talking to him whilst on the phone accusing him of not purchasing anything. Ruined our very expensive snack. Wont go again. Snowdome next time.

The driver why I choose to have a coffee in COSTA was to free wifi. Barista was very friendly, cheerful and helpful. Sandwich was overpriced. Disappointed that wifi was not working.
