My husband ordered a coffee to be delivered and today and yet again it cancelled just as it was meant to be delivered, I had already waited over 30 minutes, it’s not the first time this has happened I’m so angry with this service, the money was there so there wasn’t any reason why it didn’t arrive, it seems my money is not good enough for just eat, terrible customer service,,,,,,,

Coffee good, blueberry muffin and millionaire shortbread nice but not the best, but dirty cutlery. Why can't these places ever give you clean cutlery. Nottingham Costa is the same. Please buy a decent dishwasher.

First time using the service and was very pleased

I've tried this costa many times but it never improves, sadly. It's not just once but every time I've been in the staff are so unfriendly and you feel like it's too much trouble for them. Not impressed, it's just not a great atmosphere.

Didn't realise that if your meeting friends friends for catch up and lovely coffee after shopping that I would receive a £120 fine for staying in a shopping centre casually shopping and then Costa for a coffee and bite to eat was timed , I for one didn't see the time limit nor did I think I would be watched unlike shopping in Leicester not time limit at any of our shopping centres, will not be returning again just to watch the time , disgusting behaviour and would NOT recommend at all shopping and eating

I went out for an end of day drink with my wife. We went into the drive through and looked at the board as we were excited to try some of the new stuff. We asked the assistant have you got this NO, this NO, how about this NO. the muffin on the board we wanted we got told is not sold anymore ( even though it was advertised) Very disappointing experience

Just like any other. Staff are talking amongst their selves instead of interacting with customers. There is more than taking the order and the money. Just saying

The Best of Costas! An almost hidden secret which I am about to share! Clean, comfortable store, good seating, easy parking and very customer friendly hours that you should make themselves aware of. Fantastic friendly staff offering excellent customer service. It is without doubt the best Costa to frequent in this area especially at Ventura. Also ease of access if travelling en route. I can highly recommend.

Needs fumigating, little black bugs everywhere, floor looks dirty

Had a voucher for a free cookie with a purchased drink. I was told that they were all gone! I asked for an alternative. That wasn’t possible. The voucher expired today. Always remember that there’s an ‘ouch’ in voucher.

As a Costa Coffee shop it ok BUT I have been constantly bombarded by Black flies all over the place , there's an infestation somewhere close. This is INSIDE the building .

Lots of fruit flies chasing me and my food around the shop today. Lots of them! Moved tables twice beginning to wonder how clean it is behind the counter.

Coffee is great. However the seating area was a mess. Very untidy. No-one clearing away after customers.

Ordered coffee and food and when the courier arrived I was told they had run out of food. If I was informed about this I obviously would have cancelled. So two coffees has cost me nearly £30 pounds. I want a full refund including the delivery and service fee

Just got bk from the drive through at ventura, spent £3.75 on a small cappuccino, driving bk to work I had a sip with no coffee just warm milk. The lady with big lips,tattoos and dark hair served me! Won't be going again.

Well they're certainly 'relaxed' about service. The store is clean and tidy. There's space for more tables, you get the impression they're maybe focused on the driver thru

Ordered a toastie and the packaging was left open, one half of the toastie missing. Additionally, there was hardly any filling inside and it was falling apart as if someone threw it in the packaging. Sausage roll came cold to the core. Also ordered an apple juice and got an orange juice instead =/

A small outlet in Ventura Park car park. Disabled parking alongside. Can be very busy around lunch time. It's a standard Costa. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Costa did not have the cakes I ordered but instead of ringing the customer to arrange a substitute they sent nothing. So I paid for a cake that did not get delivered that did say was still available when ordering.

It is what it is, a coffee shop with snacks. Limited sitting, so be prepared to wait if you need to stay.

Asked for a receipt for my costa points but didn't get one - I feel like it should just be standard to provide that Drink was hot and cake was good tho

My go to place for a coffee and cake.

Useless place being a Costa fan this is the worst one I've ever mean in so much infact I feel Starbucks calling Costa are quick enough to raise prices but not standards.

Tables not cleared, always feels dirty in this Costa. Dishwasher wasn't working so had to drink from takeaway cups even though was staying in the premises and as always a slow moving queue. When I went to see if the 2 drinks on the side were the ones I'd ordered, the woman was really abrupt. Not a great Costa, but then I think that this is pretty typical of a lot of them now.

Late delivered, food cold plus missing item.

Everytime i order they never have half the things. If you havent got it it needs taking of the menu. I bet just wont refund either so now im probably going to miss out on £15. Absolutley discusting

2 drinks failed to arrive no cream on iced drinks as requested

ordered drinks with different sugar requirements, nothing on the cup stated whether it was/wasnt with sugar. not good for diabetic customers.

Been to this Costa twice both times disappointing my coffee was cold my wife's refresher cold drink was weak dirty plates left on limited tables for the whole time we were there not going back thanks

Service was aporling, no welcome as I came in and was greeted with a "what do you want?" Asked for a vanilla latte and got a bitter latte made in seconds. When went back to ask for a shot of vanilla I was told "you didn't ask for vanilla" awful customer service will definitely not be going back.

DISGUSTING let me order then decided you wasn't taking orders, monotone girl on the phone was rude and didn't care, driver turned up and they messed him around, they confirmed that my order was accepted..in the way and delivered, said it was automatic, it isn't! You have to enter it into the ipad! So they've told just eat that I've received my order instead of cancelling it, you need to hire someone who has a few brain cells!

Yummy food and drinks, fast service and friendly staff. A nice little location next to greggs.

Got kicked out with my 3yr old and 11 month old because they were eating a Greggs sausage roll despite my partner being in the queue to buy us food and drinks for ourselves from Costa. New policy by a new manager apparently. My children had to eat their sausage roll in the car.

Ordered costa and cake on line. One of cakes unavailable, when we went to collect our order and questioned the missing cake, the young girl barrister abruptly said ‘there is none’. When we asked if we could have a refund, barrister replied very abruptly ‘you’ll have to go to customer services’. I know they were busy but there is no need for such rudeness!

2nd visit. Both visits as bad as each other. Dirty tables and a extemely long wait. 4 people behind the counter all as useless as each other. Cmon Costa, im a big fan but this was baaaaad.

Popped into the Costa at Next to meet my friend for a quick drink. Queue was quite long and slow despite having four people behind the counter. On standing in the queue you could see every table had rubbish and empty mugs on it, in the whole time of our stay which was about an hour in total from queue to leaving we never saw anyone clean any of the tables or take away anything so customers could sit down and it really would have taken ten mins of just cleaning, it was so bad I wanted to do it. Our table was just covered in sticky marks and food all over the floor surrounding it. Even the counters with the cakes etc were filthy. When we ordered the drinks separately, we got the same thing just in different sizes so different prices but when we sat down realised we had the exact same so either I was overcharged or she got a large one for cheap, either way it was a bit annoying so definitely check what you get given as well. It was also like sitting in a greenhouse with the glass windows which I know isn't their fault. Afraid we won't return to use this one again.

Came in today after a 13 hour night shift and thought let’s have a treat for breakfast well I wish I didn’t bother very rude staff member behide the counter no service with a smile at all and then as I sat down with my hot drink I was shocked there was no sugar I asked a lady if the sugar could be refilled for her to say we haven’t got any at all I mean it’s a coffee shop why would you not have sugar!!! Place looked dirty and I ended up walking out leaving a full cup of latte didn’t even want to complain as I felt it wouldn’t have got me anywhere don’t think I’ll be returning anytime soon shocking customer service!!

Just been in to order two cakes for my boys. Four members of staff of duty. Taking at least two to clear up spilt chocolate powder. No service for 4 mins despite there being four personnel. Service, when it arrived was rude and surly. I was curtly told I used the wrong window. Sad. I’m normally a happy Costa customer.

Very disappointing visit. Unhelpful rude staff, preferred talking to each other than serving me. Only two cold drinks available. We had the Strawberry Infusion and it was very weak. Couldn’t be bothered to complain. The restaurant was messy and looked as though no one cared. I usually like a visit to Costa but this is definitely the worst I have ever been to, I won’t bother again. Very disappointing, don’t waste your money.

Rude , disgusting staff and coffee cold , and was very disappointing .Charlie served me and didn’t smile once and never had a visor on even thou your exempt you should wear a visor .

Staff were rude and unhelpful. I came into the coffee shop with my litttle boy in the pushchair and we waited patiently in the long wait for a table. I was told a table was available so I continued waiting in the line to get my order. They then decided to sit someone else at my table and also sit the customers that were behind me at a table. I was left with no table and felt very discriminated. There was no apology or explanation and the staff were rude especially the manager. Will never go to this costa again I spend a lot of money in Costa and this experience has put me off! I could tell they didn’t like that I had a pushchair and I feel this is why I got treated the way I did.

Fairly busy at most times when Next is open you will find. Drinks up to the usual standard. Costa is on the first floor and access is via stairs, escalator or lift. Toilets are in next and spotless. Good to see hand sanitisers available. Free parking outside Next.

The usual high standard you expect from Costa. This restaurant does get extremely busy at weekends. I love the new lunchtime meal deal, it’s great value.

Only costa at Next Tamworth could have ONE member of staff serving on the busiest shopping Monday after Christmas at lunchtime. The queue went out into the home furnishings section and was around 25 people deep. Everyone was moaning and many people gave up but myself and others stuck it out and (yes I timed it) were in the queue for just shy of 50minutes. The girl sauntering around cleaning the tables was offering no help to the poor girl doing absolutely everything by herself. I felt so sorry for her. However as much as she was working her behind off it’s still a one out of five in the service rankings as in my 45 years of being alive this tops the world record of queuing in a coffee shop coming quite close to the time we queued at Starbucks at Walt Disney world, Florida. To give you an idea of the time myself and others endured in the longest coffee queue known to man, I’ve made a few comparisons of things that take near enough the same amount of time. 1. The Birmingham to Lichfield train. 2. Driving from Tamworth to Derby. 3. The standard queue time to ride the London Eye. 4. 3 x doctors appointments 5. Preparing a cottage pie from scratch.6. Mowing my rear lawn7. The space station covering around 12,000 miles. 8. Running half of a 10k race9. Washing and drying an average hatchback including blacking the tyres. 10. The drying time of a duvet set in a Hotpoint dryer.

Popped in whilst shopping in next. First impressions was a rude girl serving, no eye contact and abrupt. Until tried to have a joke with her at the till. She cracked a smile. Bonnie was good and talkative and understandably frustrated at customers leaving their tables and floor a complete mess when departing

Visited several times and always had good service. Walked in today and tables were dirty, no one clearing, a queue a mile long, only one staff member making coffees whilst 3 others stood around and watched. Was stood in the queue for a good 15 minutes without moving before I gave up and several others were doing the same. I appreciate its half term but in the main rush time why only one person serving?!

It's nice to have a little sit down and relax with a coffee whilst our shopping. It's not to bad an atmosphere which is strange as you're inside a Next store. Coffee was ok, however when it's busy which seems to be a lot when i've visit, there is hardly any seating left.

The only problem is it's very busy and at peak times can be difficult to get a seat but thats probably the same everywhere..... staff are always friendly clean looking, most of them smile, tables are kept clean and tidy and its inside next shop so handy to do shopping

Visit here regular, both with family and for meetings. It's got lots of varied seating so ideal for social chats or more business style meetings. As usual Wifi and power sockets are available. It does often get very busy but staff are excellent and as efficient as they can be.

Had a lovely cup of coffee and cake at the Costa Next store and sat on the balcony area which looks over the whole store, the glass is filthy and there’s thick dust on every surface you can see across the store, the whole place just looks grubby, it could do with a good clean, I’m surprised the store manager hasn’t noticed it or is just lazy.

Visited this Costa on Saturday 22nd December,really busy but place was spotless,tables cleared as soon as people left ,although staff were busy we were quickly served very friendly and helpful ,couldn’t fault the service or the cleanliness ,we’ve been in quite a few Costa’s and this one was excellent.

On a very busy day the staff were calm and efficient. Will definitely go back again. The hot cocolate with black forest cream was delightful.

Always pop in for a special hot chocolate after shopping therapy. So nice to have somewhere to have a nice quiet drink. Tables always clean and somewhere to sit.

Located within the Next Store first floor. Enjoyed the coffee and toastie but my word needs something done about the clearing of tables, counter and floor. These areas were abound with used cups, glasses, plates, wrappers and the amount of bits of food and crumbs on the floor makes me question what goes on behind the scene. We had to clear our own table before settling as lots of other customers were forced to do. There were 3 staff operating behind the counter and that's where they stayed. If I had known in advance that I would be working part time for Costa before having my lunch I would have avoided this visit. Come on Folks, look around your customer area and do something.

Always lovely coffee and cake here but the cutlery seriously needs cleaning especially the tea spoons that are stained brown.

A usual Costa Coffee Café inside store. Very convenient whilst shopping in Ventura Park. Good strong Americano but as with many Costa’s table clearing is, seemingly, one of the least important jobs - no matter how quickly you can dish up the coffee if there’s no cleared tables to sit at the whole experience loses its sparkle!! Didn’t come across a wobbly table though!

Got myself a skinny latte to take out. Had it in my re-usable Greggs cup which was no trouble at all and saved me 25p. Was half hoping they would offer to swap it for a re-usable Costa cup, but no joy in that score . Was pretty busy but staff were still pleasant and didn't seem flustered.

Came in was very busy, but staff were welcoming and friendly. The cakes and food were fab, would definitely visit again.
