Lovely food always here .very friendly staff loads of choices to hav here

The staff is super-helpful but the overall quality of Asda is deteriorating steadily and very rapidly UPDATE to your answer: Chris, I doubt that you'll bother to inform the management upstairs about my comments, more so that they will do something about it. However they are other supermarkets who hold better quality at much lower prices and the customers can choose to shop to them.

The shop itself is great. CLICK & COLLECT however, well that’s another matter 😭 terrible compared to all other supermarkets, always marking items as not in stock when they infact are.. most times I have to collect my order then go inside the shop anyway to buy the things they couldn’t be bothered to find. The only reason I keep placing click & collect orders with Asda is because they almost always have late/last minute slots available. The staff need better training it’s been happening since I can remember

It's quite a big store with all the usual produce available. Easily accessible, with good toilets, a cafe and a decathlon store on the 1st floor. Staff are very helpful, the store is clean, and the trolley staff are always on the go.

Only 2 actual checkouts open today,Tuesday 28th May resulting in lengthy waits to be served.Yes,I could use self service,but you still have to wait for authorisation on items,and I prefer to use the checkout.Pull your socks up,20mins waiting on a Tuesday morning not acceptable.

I came here for a quick shop. Its alot quieter in the evening after 9 pm. The staff are always very friendly.

Friendly staff, good grocery section. Click and collect available here. Upstairs good for clothes and a nice sportswear sub store. Downstairs drinks section pretty good, snacks selection decent. In house bakery pretty good. Custom pizzas are fantastic quality and value. Frozen foods varies from time to time. Usually good. Some speed bumps are very hardcore (ok for SUVs and high settable air suspension with smart damping). Otherwise, go VERY slow over them, or you'll regret it.

Massive range of items in stock some can be quite expensive but there's usually a cheaper alternative a few shelves down. Upstairs has George clothes electrical items plus there's a decathlon. There's toilets onsite and a cafe all wheelchair accessible with petrol station as well can be a one stop shop

I had a very bad experience at Asda Tamworth today. Went to the self checkout with a couple items and was repeatedly ignored by the ‘happy to help’ staff. I am not happy and I was not helped. Thanks :)

Store itself always has a good range of items, and the George section is always well stocked but the staff really let the store down. Spoken to as if you're a criminal because you went into the basket section with a trolley with 3 items in it? Especially with someone who is clearly disabled and who was buying 1 of the 3 items (a drink to take medication that was visibly out to be taken). They just need to have some compassion and use their brain sometimes, else it comes across very rude.

Right now I'm fuming with this store and it's stupid big brother rules, or whatever it is that says you can't buy a package of paracetamol tablets and a pack of Beecham lemon as that contains paracetamol too... Big bloody deal. I spent nearly 2 hours going around filling my shopping bags (using the gadget) at the end satisfied that we had what we needed and some really good bargains from the reduced section, we went to scan and check out, there was an obligatory search, large shops, £236 always get flagged. 15 minutes later we get back to paying and we can't... Too many paracetamol in our purchase. Are you kidding me Asda? I live in some kind of dictatorship now, I was grown up enough to join up, go overseas and face being killed, but I can't buy our families food because two items clash with some stupid rule you have. Guess where I'm going shopping now, that's right anywhere but here. Hello Lidl, Aldi, Morrisons etc, is my money good enough for you? It's always the same at self check out .. your eyeballed and treated like criminals. This was the last straw. 02/02/24 17:00hrs approx. A young blue haired "assistant" I am a fat bald bloke in a black coat and my missus has long blonde hair. For your CCTV if you bother, oh and I do pity the poor bugger having to restock everything in our pile of bags, which you can keep by the way, we're not so desperate.

Best asda around we travelled from burton as it has far more than the ones in our area

I was upstairs in asda tamworth watching an asda employee throwing a washing up bowl at a pied wagtail. All you could hear is the bowl bouncing off the floor .I approached the woman and said would you like me to video you killing that bird ABSOLUTE DISGRACE

Asda Tamworth, this store usually has a wide selection of fresh fruit and veg available at reasonable prices. The reduced item section is always worth a look to pick up a bargain. Clothing and homeware section are up the escalator. I like the George clothing, decent quality and value. This store has cycle parking facilities, a plus for me, well done Asda.

While this store offers a good selection of products, it's the end of the line at self scan that puts me off, staff contact . Twice now I've been treated like an arch criminal, both times wearing my company uniform with personal name badge, ( I wouldn't be hard to trace )while purchasing alcohol, the first time the colleague held my purchase behind her back while I paid , the second time the colleague without any eye contact and having a conversation with a workmate said "pay first then I'll remove the tag " how far did she think I would get with a trolley full of shopping . That's me finished with this store .

Nightmare trying to get out of the car park .took over 25 minutes to get out . First and last time I will visit .

Not a huge fan of Asda, was only really shopping here for a specific birthday cake that a certain other supermarket don't have. Think prices have really got expensive despite asda's essential type range.

Just bought 2 bunches of lillies from Asda Tamworth only to find that 6 Lilly heads (buds) dropped off when I cut the cellophane wrapper off. To say I was very disappointed is an understatement - normally they are excellent flowers to buy from Asda. I love lillies, but may have to look elsewhere to buy them. Staff don’t seem too bothered to help, store is usually dirty and particularly hard to navigate in the evening with crates and forklifts everywhere with its drivers very inpatient. Used to shop here regularly but I try and avoid it here now if I can

The Tamworth Asda is a huge store with a lot of selection and some pretty good prices.

I was in asda ventura today. I was buying a dress fromm the sale but it had no belt. Dawn from George tried to find me one . She has lovely customer service. We also went in to the cafe for lunch . Have just being diagnosed as celiac I am finding it hard to find food. Your gluten free hot sandwich was so good .

Should have more tills open but a member of staff told me they are taking away more soon

Dirty flity cafferta floors covered in chips and waste people having to clean their own tables ..the table left with old food had to walk way away disgrace won't be going there again

In yesterday to check out televisions. Large range and staff helpful but, they admitted there were no trained tech staff to inform us. Went to the cafe for lite bite and tea. Wife went to the toilet and told me there was at least one toilet out of order, paper strewn about the floor and a strong smell. 10 out 10 for the shop, 0 out 10 for the toilets.

this asda is available on uber eats and I use it often for essentials like bread or bin bags. however, the last 4 times I've used it, things have been removed from my order without any warning or messages that the items are not available. for example, today, i ordered a few things because i needed bread and bin bags, however, the bread never came and neither did the cakes i ordered. not only that but i am always overcharged for my shop as they take the money before the order actually arrives. so today i was charged nearly 29 pounds for an order that ended up being just over 26 and the money is never refunded unless i contact uber. as well, whenever i go into the store the staff are less than helpful and the self serve staff look at you as though you are an inconvenience on their day. I think from now on I will be shopping elsewhere because the service from this store is absolutely awful.

The best (so far)ASDA store that I have visited. So clean & well laid out it was a pleasure to visit. The staff were so friendly too. A mark above the rest.

The shop is fine. Plenty of choice for your weekly shop, or just popping in for bits and bobs. There's a cafe, opticians,coin counter, post box and a decathlon. So lots of choice. The staff are all friendly until you show your blue light card. Then a lot of them change their attitude. Shame really as it can put you off.

A very good large supermarket with plenty of choice + great prices. Very clean + lovely staff.

If you say you will close at 16:00, then close at 16:00 & don't block the entry at 15:55 or whenever you feel like it.

i farted in the aisles and let other people smell and they cried. they cried really hard. it was so sad i bet it smelled.

I was totally horrified today the amount of staff with their noses hanging over the top. Of their masks no. Covid restrictions in place store needs closing down

Will not shop hear again as not all staff had masks on if they did they were on there chins loads of customers not with masks on and nothing said by staff its disgusting asda Tamworth should be closed down no wonder covid 19 is so bad SHOP ELSEWHERE

Absolutely shocked when shopping at Asda this Saturday. No COVID restrictions in fact if it wasn’t for customers wearing face masks you would not know COVID was an issue. First time I have been out and been scared. Will avoid ASDA at weekend again. I would have preferred to queue than shop with that amount of people

First visit since the mask policy has been introduced and was absolutely appalled. No more monitoring of numbers in the store; all one way signage has been removed as have separate entry and exits; so many customers not wearing masks or abiding by social distancing and no interest from the store staff to challenge; massive cueing into the isles as not enough tills open. Asda clearly only care about getting your money - no care for customer safety. Will not be surprised if we find out a second local wave of Covid starts here. Will never shop here again and will be encouraging others to boycott for their own safety.

I visited the Tamworth store today and I am horrified at the lack of COVID measures in place. Staff and customers completely ignore the 2 meter rule, arrows to follow not being followed, staff not directing customers and staff standing next to you not even adhering to 1 meter rule. This visit was no different to a normal shop before COVID. This store is to be avoided at all cost unless you want to catch a dose of COVID 19.

I've only been to this asda location a few times, I only go to it when my local asda store is closed and I need to get a quick late night spend, since the bus has a quite close route to this store its easy to get there, I'm glad that the location of this store is quite convenient to me, it'd be super cool if they had more stores just around the country, since asda is better than their competitors and such . However, the service is absolutely appalling, I bought a lawn chair from asda and it ended up having flimsy legs, as soon as you sit down it will be extremely wobbly and unstable. Not only that but I ALWAYS receive deals and such from Tesco, morrisons, etc; as someone who is raising three children, it would be very helpful if asda were to help me out with bills and such.

Just went today and the staff where very rude and disgusting service. I wanted to buy a red bull and the staff stopped me even that I had my ID on me. I was fuming I’m so disgusted with the service. Never coming back.

Store not very clean. Toilets vomit churning. CAR PARK atrocious nearly an hour to get out. In future will stick to my usual Brade Drive in Coventry.

Love ASDA... you can find anything here. Clean and very organized and the value is less money for more value!!

Stopped for coffee in Asda a lot cheeper than up the road and had a great service. The young Dannel behind the counter was cheerful and pleasent and made us glad we stopped here well done Asda

After shopping in asda me and my Dad decided to eat in the cafe for brunch. We ordered a sausage and egg sandwich and a 6 peice break fast. The lady serving had rather bad attitude, rolling her eyes at as after being told that we couldnt swop tomato's for mushrooms and after a little confusion she said we could have the mushrooms but would be charged for them. Wasn't asked for drinks we had to tell her. Wasn't asked how we wanted the egg or if we wanted sauces and there was no butter on the sandwich.. witnessed her walk away from a customer when they attempted to talk to her after she gave them some more butter. Paid nearly ten pounds for the food and it was dry and tastless

We popped into the cafe for a piece of cake (which was not the best). We were served by a miserable member of staff (no hello or smile). One of my children went to get another straw from the counter and one of the young girls that worked there came around the corner and snapped at my little one, saying that youre not allowed to top the slush up and would have to pay. I was furious at the way she spoke and my little one was upset and confused. So not only was the food rubbish and over priced, the staffs attitude/customer service was shocking too!!

The egg was upside down on top of chips and was hard baked, the sausage was hard/baked on one side, the bacon was dry hard baked, chips were ok but were smothered with beans the beans were ok hard to spoil beans but I’m sure they will in time, the plate was to small to present a meal on. I’ve eaten in greasy spoon cafes and never been served something so badly presented I will never eat at Asda store again if this is there quality of food I think it’s time to shop elsewhere Very dissatisfied

Food at a reasonable cost and a fair choice. Child friendly supermarket café whice is also easy for the disabled to use. However after ordering five breakfasts with drinks and toast. Drinks were self service for soft drinks. Tea and coffee were supplied at the counter. When the food and toast were eventualy served every dish was only luke warm certainly not very appetising we left the venue and eat elsewhere.

Been to the cafe a few times before,but called Sunday 12th November 2017 for lunch before shopping. On the menu was Christmas dinner at £5. Non or us wanted that and instead one had a Turkey with cranberry pie, chips, peas and gravy, another had Turkey bap with cranberry and stuffing and I decided to have a tomato, mozzarella & pesto panini,which you can have as a deal of chips, drink and paninni for £4 95. The drink was coke. The pie was presented quite well and said to be 'nice'. The turkey bap had stuffing inside, which was said to be very spicy, although it was filled adequately with turkey, but the taste of spice wasn't enjoyed at all. My paninni had a small portion of lettuce, beetroot and tomao on the plate with it and that was fine. The chips are served in a small dish and are not too greasy. The portions are quite filling and satisfying. There is quite a choice of meals like breakfast, toasties, pies, hot meals, etc., so you should be able to get a meal of your choice from the good selection. Although they were busy and there was a queue for meals, they took the orders quickly and pleasantly. I would just say it's okay for a quick snack or lunchtime meal in a cafe, as long as you remember it is only a supermarket cafe and not a restaurant, also the seats are hard wooden ones and not very comfortable to sit for a long time (maybe they don't want you to stay too long!)

popped in for lunch as was doing our shopping, the food was over cooked and dry, the service was poor even had to ask three times for milk, and three times the same women just tutted , poor customer service the tables were dirty the floor was sticky

Got to love a good ASDA, this one is fab, everything you need under one roof. George clothing line is amazing for kids and adults, toys and books are reasonably priced and they always have good offers on. But the place is often messy, the staff are very friendly and helpful on the shop floor but they don't do a good job of tidying up.

The cafe & seating area has had a recent refurb - makes it more upmarket feel about it. However, sadly some folk have no manners when it comes to eating or how to behave ! I witnessed several groups who were nothing but primitive animals, how they behaved (throwing food about and leaving table like a bombsite) was a disgrace. One family had their brats of kids completely out of control.....forcing one nice couple next to them to move. Rabble is the word I would use. On the whole though much better and of course good value!

One word for it, disgusting! The cafe was almost empty but there was nowhere to sit due to the mountains of dirty plates, filthy tables and food littering the floor! It was so bad that when I went to clear a table myself, there were no tray trolleys to deposit everybody's else's mess on to! Self service! Not at all! Very lazy customers but even lazier staff. After complaining to customer services, a member of staff did appear, clear 4 or 5 tables and then disappeared in to the back again and didn't reappear whilst I was sat there. Just very disappointed considering the size of the company and the amount of cleaning products they have for sale in aisle 12! Check out this photo! And this was the cleanest bit of floor we could find!

Waited over half an hour for food which came out cold apart from my hot salad, mentioned this to the extremely rude member of staff who had brought the food out to get the response "I just bring the food out" asked for a replacement for them to bring a fresh meal within 5 minutes which makes you question the wait to begin with.. food was generally ok for microwave meals but staff are rude and need a course in customer service. Can't say I will be hurrying back anytime soon, better off at McDonald's around the corner.

Felt a bit hungry so popped into the cafe whilst we were shopping. The most regrettable experience of our lives. Looking past the dirty tables and filthy cutlery we sat and waited for our food to be "freshly cooked". After 4 minutes our, lets call it, reheated food arrived. My breakfast brunch was poor to say the least, I didn't expect much for a fiver but it was truly shocking. My other half had a turkey burger which resembled no meat know in the civilised world. It was left, the picture says it all. Looking around, everyone left there's too. You would be better off eating the £5 note than eating here.

Great value breakfast served by lovely staff. They recommended the meal deal which was excellent value for money. As ever Asdas staff are pleasant and friendly.

The shop is huge, great clothing range too, but the cafe is horrid!! the staff are horrible, we waiting 30 minutes for a baguette to be heated up and when we asked where it was we were basically told to go away and be patient. The chef woman then delivered it to our table, but she was filthy, finger nails, and personal hygiene was horrible so didn't even eat the baguette!

am not normaly one to do somthing like this! but i was so shocked with my experiance!! so popped into asda yestoday with my mom then we was going to costa after untill my mom said oh look asda cafe open looks realy nice shall we try there so i said yeah ok well we stood there 5mins before enyone even turned up to serve us which not to fussed about! so we odered to cakes and two hot chcolates! as my mom waited i went to find a table which was qite difficult as nearly all of them was dirty bare in amind it was 6:35 and we was the only people so i went back as she made our hot choclates one of the cups was dirty around the rim and handle so asked if it was possible to change it she said oh i will wipe it for you as she picked a dirty cloth up with food on it! horrfi i said can i have a clean cup please the ladie said oh i will just make it again!! so went to sit down pick my hot choc up tuck a sip for it to be cold and that much choc powder in was awful so i then had to go back to ask for another one! which she did make me a differnt one in the same cup mind had to laugh so for the 3rd time another fresh drink then to take a sip and it was just awful worse hot choc i have ever had i just gave up! either i got bad luck or the staff need more training on making drinks and cleaning also custmer sevice skill!! asda cafe was crap before the re-furb and still is you can change the decor asda but the most important thing is staff!!

Eaten here a couple of times now for convenience, thought I'd try the breakfast... Absolutely appalling, one sausage instead of two, one egg instead of two and a plate just full off tomatoes and mushrooms, £4.20??? What a joke, all served by unfriendly staff, will never eat here again.

The word Ronseal sums this place up.....does what it says on the tin! cafe is ok offers good priced food and quality is alright. It just always looks bit messy from the outside though. great for families though as plenty room. PARKING HINT.......If you are visiting on a Sunday afternoon then either leave or move the car by half 3! Come 4 o clock there are queues to get out this car park. The ridiculous amount of traffic lights and crossings on the outer roads don't help neither as you seem to be going nowhere fast!

Don't normally shop in Asda but I do in this retail park as the shop is so big and has so much choice.

If your on the run and want food fast in a convenient place then you cant go wrong! Cheap food but still good with friendly service

i have chosen not to use this cafe as they don't serve soya milk. My father wanted to eat there and the staff asked if I would like anything. I said I wanted a cup of tea but as they don't do soya milk there isn't anything I would like.
