Best Pizza and fish bar place in Tamworth 👌

I know there's a few bad reviews here but seriously I think this is the best pizza place around. Reasonable and cheap deals for quality pizza. Every time I come home to Tamworth, I have to have something from here. they've never let me down, and it's the best takeaway pizza I've ever had. I've tried pizza places where I live now and they just cannot beat Papa Gs. Their homemade sauce is amazing and the pizza bases are always beautifully done. I don't know how they do it but I love it. The chips are just your normal chips, and the garlic bread is fantastic. Seriously sometimes I visit Tamworth just for their pizza

I ordered a pizza whilst being at a relatives house and I selected a donner pizza and the extra toppings I wanted. The pizza came was so cold and there was peppers and onions on the pizza I didn’t select these as toppings and I was charged for them I told the man I was allergic to peppers he said take it up with just eat. This is NOT just eats fault. The man then said that it’s not his fault and that he has had problems with this address before basically saying that this was the reason to the problem in the food then he began to laugh down the phone and made racial comments.

no pineapple sweetcorn onion on my pizza or onion or bacon on my boyfriends, called back and no answer disgusting place don’t order from here

charged me £9 for a £7.10 pizza, outrageous.

One of the best takeaway in Tamworth town .highly recommend.

my food was cold I asked for salad and mayo and didn't get any the food was horrible the fish was like eating cardboard most of it went in the bin even the dog turned his nose up at it I will never order from here again

Just wanted to say that your deliveroo drivers are disgusting! A man ended up blocking a Lichfield X65 bus and shouting abuse whilst i was on the bus!! Drivers Plate is M99 RNT, disgusted in their behaviour to bus drivers!!

Every time I’ve ordered here good food but messed up order (wrong pizzas and missing items) and they didn’t do anything about it no refund or anything

The chips weren’t cooked properly which i was really unhappy about and we was missing our bottle of pepsi!

Absolutely brilliant chips I'm from Liverpool when I come to Tamworth I have to have my takeaway from here. Pizzas are spot on delivery service is always fast never had a issue. Portion sizes are perfect.

We've only ever ordered delivery of fish & chips once & it wasn't enjoyable arrived cold!! A friend recommended Papa G's so thought I'd give it a try, it was the BEST fish & chips we've had in a long time, we thoroughly enjoyed it. To top it off it was early, delivery said 45/60 mins & it came within half hour or so. AMAZING!! We will definitely order from here again. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

This is my favourite chip shop ever! The food is so fresh and delicious 😋 the workers are very very kind and friendly. The pizza is the best here you have to absolutely try it! And the prices are so good aswell they are so cheap. 🤤 🍕

Lots of bad reviews here so was sceptical but as fiancé and I couldn’t agree on what we wanted so we decided here would give us both and my god was it a good choice! The best kebab meat and chips I’ve had in a long time and the pizza was gorgeous. All fresh and very hot! Will definitely be ordering again! Such good value for money too!

Food was over an hour later than we expected, and delivery was out for over 30 minutes and food was cold when it arrived.

Cold when it arrived but the main problem was I asked for no sauce on my kebab only to find very hot sauce all over my kebab

Been ordering from here for years now, always been good. Unfortunately tonight was a disappointment. Pizza's have been downsized and chips were ridiculously overcooked. Hope this was a one off, otherwise will have to find somewhere else as our main pizza takeaway.

I checked the Uber driver's vehicle and my extra food was not there. Called Papa G's to ask them to send out the rest of my order (they had clearly made a mistake and must have been busy as they had sent me two bottles of pop when I only ordered one, hence my belief that they made a mistake when packing my order and missed the kebab naan deal off). They proceeded to talk to me like I am stupid and were rude to the driver and accused him of taking the order. When I asked how it was packed they told me and I confirmed that it arrived like that without the items. Again, asked for my order to be fulfilled and they refused and said take it up with Uber and I should of ordered through just eat. Not helpful when I have hungry kids waiting for their monthly takeaway treat. They then said return the full order with the driver so we can check it - as if that would prove anything? And I believe they would then have sent my cold food back out to me by how rude the staff were. He was speaking with an aggressive tone and I was being completely placid with him. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. I spent over £40 and ended up with two bags of chips, a 9" pizza and bottle of pop. (Which was pepsi, not pepsi max like I ordered!) They made a mistake but didn't admit it or apologise. GO TO PAPA JOHN'S INSTEAD, Order from them regularly and whenever there has been an issue they resolve it immediately with no issues.

Not even worth 1 star. Don't send out the full order and are rude when you ask for the order to be completed. What did come was awful. Used to be good but not anymore.

Suddenly went downhill regarding portion size. Being knowingly overcharged with the comeback "Forget about it mate" will forever stick with me. Such poor behavior only comes back to you in multiples. I would not recommend any longer.

The delivery driver didn't get out of the car, he rang and my husband had to go to car to him

Couldn’t track the order and when it was delivered just left at door and didn’t ring the bell. Only saw it said it’s been delivered on the app and went and looked it was just left by the door. Not very warm either and chips were undercooked and very greasy.

Ordered from there a couple of times and everytime its over 2 hours for delivery when i live less then 5 miles away , everytime you call theres another excuse and the last one was caked in so much grease i couldnt wat it and it was over £30 for 3 kebabs

Well don’t bother ordering a mix meat kebab as they fill it with normal meat and out of the whole kebab I had about 10 % chicken to 90 % meat and I paid extra for it too ripping there customers off

Asked for no onion in the burger and got loads. The pizza meal wasn’t what I ordered and not garlic bread pizza just a few slices, it was also cold and considering it was ordered before they opened I was expecting it to be hot and fresh

Portion sizes have been more than half! Didn’t confirm order so hadn’t a clue where or what time food would arrive! Still nice but shame the portion sizes are tiny for same price! Literally about 15 chips in a tray

really sorry to leave abad review I usually don't have too do this but this was the worst chicken tikka with chips in tray I have ever tasted and it wasn't very hot when it arrived and the battered sausage was awful too the batter didn't even taste cooked enough the chips weren't the best either

Left a message on my order for the driver to leave the order in the porch, the driver left the order on the front drive on the floor in the rain, food was ruined 😡 won’t use you again ☹️

Last time I had this it was great and ate every bit but tonight I ordered on just eat and spent basically £40 worth of food cheesy chips had no cheese got cheesy garlic bread that had no garlic on and I didn’t even order it BBQ wings wasn’t BBQ they were spicey but the chicken was also pink ish and tasted like it was old and had a weird texture that I had to spit out so not edible onion rings were overdone in the fryer to a point all the onion was actually gone just brown soggy batter and finally on top of it all the food was cold the cheese on the pizza was basically solid it was that cold and had to wait over an hour for it but the positive was they gave me an extra bottle of Pepsi that I didn’t want either

Ordered At 18.20 and got delivered at 8.10pm nearly 2 hours for the food and expected time was 7.40-8 but couldn’t arrived between this time even though it was orders over 1 hour before this estimated delivery time

Took 2 hours for 2 kebabs.. never again!

Not sure if you have changed staff but this is the first time it was delivered cold and cheese was not melted and hardly any topping usually food is amazing but sorry not tonight
