Polite staff and quick service, we stopped by in passing and were quickly seated. The food was lovely as always and the staff were very attentive. Parking got VERY busy so we were glad to get there early but PE can't help that. Would happily visit again.

Felt extremely crammed in. On a small table for two on the right hand side of the restaurant. It appears whoever has designed the seating arrangement has done so with a goal of fitting as many people in as humanly possible. We both quickly decided to leave so cannot comment on quality of the food/service but staff seemed friendly.

We had an excellent lunch. The pizzas were amazing and the lasagne very nice😋 Very good service, thank you 👏👏

First time at this branch but very enjoyable. Food was delicious, service was excellent - friendly and not long wait times. We have Gold Level rewards on the app which is brilliant as it means two out of three kids end with most of their meal free.

Great service and staff friendly, helpful for children's birthday celebrations. Be prepared for service charges added to your final bill. Would recommend.

Service is so bad here! The restaurant wasn't busy at all yet they still took absolutely ages to attend our table, took more time for the bill to arrive and they missed some items from a dessert order.

The food was delicious. Service was okay, but I felt we were constantly watched to ensure we didn't overstay.

The food was delicious, and the service was great I would definitely recommend a visit.

This was the first time we have visited Pizza Express and we weren't disappointed. Slight problem with my wife's pizza as they had run out of 2 of the toppings to go on it, we were informed straight away and offered alternative toppings which wasn't a problem. When our food came it was really nice, Service was great and staff all friendly.

We grabbed a meal whilst out shopping with the kids. It was expensive and there wasn't enough servers to get their attention to order drinks or pay. They were pleasant and polite and the food was nice.

Always a lovely experience! The staff are very friendly and the food is always high quality. Using the pizza express app, we can get pizzas, doughballs, drinks and desserts for just over £10 each, so it's incredible value too!

Very very horrible staff try to shortchangee put mushrooms in my food when I’m allergic to them I told them when I got back home from Lichfield and told me that they couldn’t do nothing about it in and up and he wouldn’t tell me his name when I rung back but I will find out his name unprofessional

We had a fantastic lunch here the staff were really friendly and welcoming. They were really understanding and we had a great lunch. The quality of the food was excellent. The whole experience was lovely. It’s my first time but I’ll be back again.

Service seemed slow, which was odd considering it wasn't really busy. I'd been sitting down for 10 minutes before I had to flag down a waiter for a drink. So, not the best start. Our waiter who took our food order was lovely! Really warm and smiley, although we didnt see him again. Shame as it would of changed the whole experience if we had him all the way through. A different waitress brought our food over, then a chap (the manager I presume as he was in a shirt, he had the personality of a packet of crisps) cleared our table and took our dessert order. We then had to flag a different waitress down after being sat for ages to get the bill. It felt a bit disjointed, to be honest, everyone mucking in... not a great atmosphere, the customer service wasn't friendly. The staff looked miserable. I can only guess they were short staffed? I think it's nice to have consistency and have the same serving staff all the way through, but hey ho. The food was lovely. I do have to say that. The food wasn't enough to cancel out the overall experience....especially when it's your birthday and you spend nearly £200. Would I go back. Probably not!

We really enjoyed this visit. Food was excellent and service was good. The dough balls are always our favorite starter. I had the nduja calzone for my main and was very impressed. Overall excellent...however, slightly over £50 for 2 x cokes, 2 x dough balls and 2 x pizzas for lunch is quite expensive for us, so it may be a while before we are back.

This is a great little restaurant, easy to park, clean, nice decor, impressive, thoughtful service, (Shaun was our server and he was great!) food excellent! Will definitely 💯 return.

We were in the area and decided to try this place. The place wasn't overly busy. We were shown to a table straight away. We ordered drinks and food which I had the 'duo romana' which is a half and half pizza. For one half I chose the 'padana' and the other half 'sloppy giuseppe' which both of these were really nice and would recommend. For pudding we shared the 'tiramisu' which was really nice which we also had a coffee which was also nice. Overall the place seemed clean, the person serving us was really friendly and helpful. The food was great. The food was a bit slow to arrive though even though it wasn't overly busy. Parking can be an issue just outside the building at times, but there is other parking over the road. I would recommend visiting here.

This was the 3rd times we dined in pizza express within a month at the different region. We found that dining in this branch had the most welcoming and best ever dining experience. The manager and staff were so tentative and soft spoken, full of respect as we had a 2yrs old son which awaken from nap and fulled of energy. We ordered large perroni, pink apple juice, duo Romano pizzas, baby set meals. All were beautifully made and so yummy. We ended the course with tiramisu and cappuccino. We will definitely be back. went with the family on a sunday lunch to use up tesco vouchers 4 adults 2 kids. had various doughball starters and chilli prawns with mains of lasagne , cannelloni, margherita pizza and la reine pizza. puddings of choc fudge cake and warm brownie. kids had doughballs, pizza and ice cream. All and i mean all the food was superb delivered in a timely manner and piping hot with the restaurant quite busy. the whole experience was excellent. a special mention to our server Shaun L, his attentive service was superb and made the mealtime great, a credit to the company thank you

Came here for lunch, had chilli garlic prawns for my starter, tasted great. However when I got home it made me really poorly and kept being sick.. very weird as I’m never ever sick off food. Also had to wait 30 minutes for the bill to come to us and it wasn’t even busy plus there was enough staff on considering most of the waiters were stood there chatting. We did ask for the bill but one of the women totally ignored us!!

We’d booked a table and were welcomed, promptly seated and given a menu then we waited and waited. After 25 minutes we hadn’t even had a drinks order taken. The staff looked miserable and like they just couldn’t be bothered. So we left and went elsewhere.

Great meal, a treat for my 12 Yr old granddaughter.

Absolutely appalling, me and my aunty arrived at 18:09 we was not asked what we would like to drink until 18:30, it wasn’t busy but we continued to wait, by around 19:05 no one had came to ask what we would like to eat, multiple members of staff had seen us, we’d put our hands up and even of attempted to call over a member of staff but no one came, in the end at 19:06 we decided to pay for our drinks and leave, very disappointed

Came for daughter's Birthday - everyone was so helpful and obliged with everything we asked. Also happened to be the best pizza I've had (Spicy Giuseppe!!). Would absolutely recommend.

Me and my partner had a lovely three course meal last night at this restaurant, the staff were very polite and helpful. The food was also delicious, we had one mix up with mains as I ordered the wrong thing but the male manager was very good and resolved the issue, Service is key. Experience was spot on and we will be returning. 28/06/23 - I cannot add another review, so I thought id add onto this one. Once again I was greeted by the Manager who’s name I now know, Sammy. He was very polite and actually recognised me from past visits so treated me just like a VIP and gave me some new recommendations as I fancied a change. Top Tier as always. Great staff, great food and always leave with a full stomach and a big smile.

Ordered 3 pizzas and sides through Just eat - it was evidently delivered to the wrong address however when I called the restaurant the gentleman I spoke to was incredibly dismissive and quite rude.. not our problem, speak to Just Eat - there was not even an attempt to help! Manners cost nothing!!

Wow I have eaten all around the world, Michelin star restaurants including Italy many times and I have to say food was top quality, The level of the service by Sammy and his staff was exceptional. This restaurant is amazing! I came for food with my son yesterday evening (12/06/2023) The service from the staff was amazing. I had a young lad serve me and he was fantastic. Very polite. The food was amazing, especially with how hot it is outside. There was 3 lady’s in the kitchen, and wow did they make my food amazing! I told the lady’s in the kitchen that it was the best pizza I had ever had. That was not a lie! Definitely recommend this restaurant! By far the best one in Tamworth. All smiley and happy :) Very pleased and will be returning

Walked in and saw about 4/5 ants running around all the menus as soon as I walked in. Walked straight back out the door, put me off wanting to eat there all together and went to Nando’s next door. Very disappointed about this. Have reported to the local council

Food is decent. Ordered 2 pizzas and a starter Can’t complain. Little bit pricey for what it is. Service was good wasnt waiting for anything.

My partner and I went here yesterday and I was very impressed with the service provided. Being a wheelchair user I found it easy to access all areas including the toilets. Also found the staff to be very helpful and accommodating. Would definitely recommend to friends and look forward to our next visit. And the chocolate cake is to die for.

Food is nice, staff are fantastic, but the prices are outrageous

I ordered the butterfly king prawn starter and king prawn pizza but to find I was only provided with cocktail prawns at best and lacking in them! I complained to the server who said there was nothing he could do as everything was prepackaged?!! I asked him to escalate the matter to the chef but he did not cone back to meal and avoided our table for the rest of the meal. I also complained to the male general manager but all I received was a brush off that they were butterfly prawns cut into half, which wasn't true and why would you do that anyway unless you were halving the amount of product!!! I was incredulous but paid and left. I require a formal response from a head manager as to why I paid for 2 products but did not receive anywhere near what I had ordered!

Waiter was friendly. Service was quick but not overly rushed. Food and drink was nice and tasty but far too expensive. £7.20 for just a small glass of wine. My husband and son both had the BBQ burnt ends pizza with beef brisket as the primary listed topping - there was seriously no more than 2 teaspoons of beef on this pizza - the rest of the BBQ bit was just sauce. Then there were a few onions and tomatoes. And for a bargain of nearly £16. They were very tasty but .... not enough topping and far far too much money for what they are. Sorry but we won't be back anytime soon.

5 stars to the waitress who offered to cut my pizza while I was breastfeeding my baby, you're an absolute gem! Great vegan and vegetarian menu, the pizzas are really good. Comfy changing mat for your baby too 👌

We came in for lunch today and it was superb service was great the manger in the white shirt was extremely helpful with our order and was quick to serve us also a big shout out to the chefs for amazing food

I ordered Pizza Rmana la Reina and stem ginger cake. The pizza was delicious. It was well seasoned with a pleasant creamy quality. The cake, on the other hand, was bland and the topping not at all pleasant. I took one bite and threw it away.

Beautiful decor and great quality pizza in here!🥰 I really enjoyed the vegetarian pizza with a nice think crispy base! It was really big as you can see in my pictures and I’m not complaining 😋 I would definitely go back here and also the decor is really beautiful! Thinking about this makes me want to go there now💕✨🌈

Absolutely shocking. Do not go!! Thursday night, not even the weekend and the service was appalling. The manager (dave) was extremely rude alongside another member of staff( radu). Waiting 45mins for our food. No checking on us or letting us know about the wait. I am suprised that pizza express allow this type of out of control rude service. However on the postive side , Beatrice a very lovely waitress should definitely be recognised for her wonderful service skills she was so kind and polite.

Eat here regularly. Staff are brilliant always warm and welcoming. Food is always good. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Came here to meet with a friend. Fast service and food at its usual high standard. Pizza, beer, coffee with cake. What more could you ask for… My own moan is that they’ve taken the Diavolo off the menu 😭😭. This was my favourite pizza by a mile. But will be back. Maybe one day it will return.

Very bad service from waiters especially the skinny girl who’s eye lashes are so big she can’t even see the customers standing in front of her she came 3-4 times to attend the delivery drivers but never even looked at me to ask for anything. Waited at the main entrance 8-10 mins even went to the fat waiter girl and asked her to send someone but they never did and had to leave because by children were too hungry for me to wait more.

It was really good and the food also service was amazing 🤩 such fast pace for us we are definitely a forever customer thank you we will definitely be back

Now to be honest, 5 stars. That is a understatement there service was the best and had such respect for their customers. The meals came out as quick as you could even flinch. The atmosphere inside was beautiful and very relaxing. The staff were always willing to help and eying you to make sure that you were satisfied with your service and ready to pounce if you had questions or had a enquiry about the place, including another order.

Visited a few times recently. Great service great atmosphere lovely food. Top tip - don't waste time trying to park in small car park at front, park in corner of sainsburys car park and walk through

Great service, great food, cold draught at tables near the door though. Draught got worse when food became a bit delayed causing a queue of cutomers out the door for collections who were often just standing holding the door open. Not sure there were enough staff.

Excellent experience. I visited this restaurant yesterday afternoon and was highly impressed with the friendly service, atmosphere and cleanliness of it. Had an very pleasant experience . The young male manager was very accommodating and was able to fit us in after not booking. Food arrived piping hot and tasted excellent . Will definitely be returning next time we visit Tamworth !

Great place but a bit expensive I think

As pizza express goes this is a very bad one. Empty seats but placed next to the door. Waiter served over my child's head bashing it and causing food to go everywhere. My daughters food didn't arrive with other dishes... we had to ask after 5 mins. Then ordered a second beer which never came. Tut tut tut.

The service was very slow, food was lovely. We were sat under a draft from the air conditioning but after saying it was cold it was turned off, so thumbs up.

i warmly walked into the restaurant, it was good, the staff were friendly. however, when my pizza arrived, i asked the waiter for some ketchup and he said “no” i’m the most normal way possible as if pizza restaurants don’t use tomato sauce on pizzas !!!, ALSOOO, i came to the realisation that the woman sitting on the next table was finely cutting up her pizza with a pizza SLICER. howeverrrr, when i was given my pizza it has not been cut, and i didn’t have a pizza slicer soooo i had to cut my uncut pizza with a butter knife 4 times so i has no option but to fold my pizza in half. other then that my girlfriend loved it and it was a proper scran 👍🏻

Second time dining here and although the food has been wonderful both times, the service has been extremely slow both times. Both visits we have waited a long, long time between courses. Such a shame because the food is great.

Revisited here for the first time since lockdown. Why have I been away so long. Upon entry to the restaurant we were looked after by Rach B and Vickie. Both recommended certain food and drink from the great menu, especially with one of our party members having diet requirements. Drinks were served quickly followed by our 3 course meal. All meals served hot and full of flavour. Would recommend the onion chutney on any pizza!!!! Such a great dining experience we ordered another round of drinks. Both members of staff took time to interact with us even with the restaurant appearing to be at capacity. As a pizza lover I will be returning here not just for the food but the great dining experience provided by a great bunch of staff working here.
