Papa John's in Tamworth

I was rather disappointed with the food quality. The pizza base was overly chewy, the cheese seemed burnt, and to top it off, it wasn't even cut. On the bright side, they did deliver on time.

ordered food at midnight,still sating 12.40-1am delivery,just found out the restaurant closes at 11 pm so just eat have took my money and wasted my time and I'm starving now,joke service

undelivered,no refund given,just eat are abysmal stick to uber eats

Super fast, generous toppings, good selection and tastes great, always an offer, you can't go wrong.

Very up and down this place!!! We’ve had several pizzas and sides, sometimes it’s great and other times pretty poor. We’ve always given the benefit of the doubt but this evening we received chicken bites that was still pretty much frozen in the middle! They’ve had to go in the bin and truth told it’s kinda car crash takeaway to not make sure food is fully cooked! We’ve had some “not great” pizzas too but I think we might be swerving this papa johns going forward…..it’s like playing food poisoning lottery!!!

Useless as per, they’re promoted on Just eat and show as available for delivery, but cancel our order every time, spend 10 minutes with the family choosing an order for it to be cancelled.

The pizza tasted of the cardboard it came in probably because delivery took 35 mins from leaving the store so it was sat for a long time in the box and in a bag to go so soggy the bottom of the box was wet through.

Delivery driver arrived 15 minutes early and the food was delicious and crispy, I and my partner was really enjoyed it and the price is not that bad as we got discount off so it’s worth good price. We will definitely buy it again. Great service. Thank you

Never delivered food - accepted my order and left waiting for 2hrs they said they don’t deliver to us and food wouldn’t be arriving - now have to contact just eat to try and get refund!!! Why accept the order if your not going to deliver it!!!!!! When I phoned up 2hrs later the guy was extremely rude and hung up on me when I questioned why this happened!

Food was slightly late but thank you to the chap that I spoke to on the phone, explained there was a slight delay and that it’d be here within 10 minutes sure enough, food arrived and was excellent!

Didn't notice until we'd eaten half. I'm not accusing the staff of anything here, but I'm also not going to be ordering from them again (see photo).

The pizza and garlic bread smelt really really bad , put me off the rest of my food , really annoyed as I paid money and expect it to smell and taste nicer than it was.

Did not deliver the food, would not pick up the phone when we called to find out why. Terrible

Sat 23/10/21 18-00 just bought a large pizza from Tamworth outlet.. 4 toppings.Very Disappointed with it-Area of pizza ranging from luke warm to cold...almost as if not cooked long enough.Shall raise with staff at outlet...i actually waited for it to be prepared and brought to car as staff membrr had said.Such a shame-Normally piping hot.

Said the order was out when was wasn’t even processed called and they said they would put a free bottle of coke in with the order and that didn’t arrive. Will not be ordering from here again

The food wasn’t nice at all the potato pots ok could of been cooked longer and the chicken bites were so undercooked they went straight in the bin

I understand that a match was going on when the food was meant to be delivered, but I ordered around an hour before my selected delivery time and they didn't update and couldn't get through to anyone over the phone

Hi we ordered 3 x pizzas last night When they turned up all I could say was just the base turned up with no actual toppings . For £35 all in it was an expensive pizza meal . Won’t be using this establishment again .

Quick and great quality. Had an issue on one occasion, a manager personally handled it and dropped us a free ice cream for the trouble. Great service.

Too expensive for a small pizza but the vegan cheese pizza with the green peppers and pineapple was delicious. Likes that it had the option to chose green peppers because I like vegetables on pizza

The Bee Sting is most disgusting 'pizza' I've ever had the misfortune to eat. A slab of crispy-ish dough dripping in grease with a sweet sticky sauce seeped under the 'pizza' onto the base. Completely flavourless meat topping. Vile. Delivery was ok, starter too.

Food was delivered on time. After an hour & 20 min wait the food arrived cold. When I called I was offered another pizza or a free pizza when I next ordered. I asked for a refund & have been advised I have to wait for possibly 4 days because the franchisee isn’t in until Monday & nobody else can approve a refund. Friday until Monday for a refund isn’t a fantastic service & neither is getting a cold pizza

Not fussed about it being late as it was worth it on both occasions. The mixed kebab might just be the best I've ever eaten and I've ate a lot of kebabs! Pizza was delicious too. I'll always use these guys from now on. Absolutely spot on food.

food was not hot, and not what I ordered, plus poor quality... and very expensive considering the actual size which arrived. Delivery was contactless-fair enough. bell rang, pizza box was left on the doorstep and the delivery driver almost ran away, just getting in their car with their back to me as I got to the door. Didn't even see who it was....very rude!

I ordered the meal deal with 2 sides which was supposed to be 20.99 , but was told due to my partner working for the police they would get a 50% discount.So I am not sure why ,but I was charged the 17.59 instead of the 50% off the total orderWhen the order arrvied , the delivery guy only delivered one side and the pizza.The box said delivery 2 of 3 and 3 of 3. Clearly the first one was missingI then calling non stop from 17:26 until 21:00 (Over 100 calls) and no one answered the phone.I decided to call the next morning and spoke to an agent who advised me that they don't answer the phones when they are busy with ordersI advised what had happened and he said the manager was not in and he offered me a replacement , but at this stage I wanted a refund.I expressed this to him and he said the manager would have to do it when he got in. we left it there.I then called back probably about 15-20 minutes asking the same agent to ask the manager to call me to confirm this had been done.I confirmed my number with the agent. To this day , I have had no response from the location.

The best pizza in the UK, let alone Tamworth. The manager, in-store staff and delivery drivers are fantastic, highly proffesional and always smiling.

Very good pizza, garlic bread a bit dry. Pepsi ice cold, perfect. Quick delivery. Overall, very good.

Me and a few friends popped in at quite a late time, and we were the only ones there. Pizza came to us very quickly, and I think they were even generous and gave us a larger pizza :) Definitely recommended

Horrible undercooked base ruined the pizza. If your idea of a good pizza is expensive stodge then this is the place for you How hard can it be to get it right
