Lovely food lovely place 100% recommended

Went on New Year’s Eve with the family, at 14:40 we were told by someone waiting by the door (staff) that they stop serving at 15:00 … we weren’t planning on taking 20 minutes to order. What they had in the glass cabinet wasn’t what was on offer to eat hot. The staff seemed put out that we wanted to eat in. So much so, they walked over with a bag and said “did you order the takeaway” … we said no, then watched them take it back around the counter and plate it. The whole time we were sat there was someone hoovering and cleaning around us as if they were closed. The lady cleaning then emptied the bins by the door, after doing this, then grabbed our plates still wearing the same disposable blue gloves and bought the plates over to our table. The food looked vile. Clearly being nuked and re heated. They had continently left a hoover on, and left on the floor in what seemed like some petty act that they weren’t impressed by us dining in. I certainly would t recommend this place, it was over priced for what it was, nothing special to eat, vile to look at, unfriendly staff and a cramped atmosphere. Avoid!! There are much nicer places at Trentham to eat

I've been here a few times now, yes it's really expensive and no this place doesn't have any toilets so you have to take a walk to the communal toilets a few doors down, The big NO for me is when I've planned to spend a few hours there so sitting at a table with my friend drinking expensive beers and the barman starts putting reserved signs on everyone's tables, so basically telling guests and punters that in half an hour there table and chairs are going to be given to someone else this was done to about 7 tables and all the tables were already occupied so it's not only rude but it think somewhere a customer always has a right if they are there first.. to be honest as soon as I saw what was going on I told my friend that we were drinking up and leaving as this place doesn't deserve our money. It's nothing more than a glorified bottle shop with people running it with morals. You don't tell customers that there table is going to be reserved for someone else, it should be first come first served..

Had a great time here! I’d definitely recommend a visit. It’s only really a 2-3 hour experience but worth a trip if you like monkeys. Once you’ve done the monkey walk there’s still plenty to do and children have got of activity’s dotted around the place.

I had heard great things about this place and they were right. A wonderful place to eat. The ambience and decor is lovely and the staff are wonderful and naturally cheery

As expected for a Premier Inn. Clean, quiet, modern.

Confusing lunch experience. Table and chairs very dirty. Ordered a sandwich. After getting back to the table waitress asked if we'd ordered a sandwich, confirmed we had. She said she'd go and ask the chef to make it and we should go to the till for a refund? Sandwich then came. Waitress came back and said forget the refund because we had the sandwich?! We didn't ask for a refund in the first place? They then tried to bring our the same sandwich again.

I went with my family we have a dairy free child a gluten free person there was. 6 of us the staff were very polite and helpful they accommodated for both allergies the gluten free took a touch longer which is acceptable as they make sure not to cross contamination the food the food was delicious and the cakes were delicious also. The staff were brilliant with us an excellent service

Lovely local pub, with a warm atmosphere. Efficient and friendly service. Good range of food available and the quality was excellent. Apparently the choice and quality of beer is also very good.

Clean modern setting with a vibrant atmosphere and place for the tiny ones. Manager Trinity was hands on enthusiastic and most encouraging to staff. She obviously loves what she does. Food was delicious decadent and large portions. A treat yourself or special occasion place that is wallet friendly. Highly recommend and will be back.

Delicious food, very friendly and attentive service, relaxing music, though a bit too loud... A very enjoyable rest stop after a vigorous walk around the lake!

We had a lovely lunch after a dog walk. The food was great and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Dizzy was very good ... customer service from her was outstanding.
