Frankie & Benny's in Stafford

Dog friendly , fantastic staff.. particularly Nathalia... nothing was too much trouble. Good vegan selection.

We stopped to eat in at Frankie & Benny’s after an afternoon spent at Trentham Gardens Nov 2024 while visiting family. This was our first visit and the food was absolutely fantastic. I had the ribs with a side salad and a baked potato. The ribs were so delicious. I suggest ordering a side of BBQ sauce as they were dressed with only a squiggly line of sauce. The salad was perfectly dressed. Our wonderful waitress was very personable and attentive. We even loved the festive decor. They are also on the delivery circuit and are very well organized for seating customers as well as sorting out the delivery drivers. We live on the West Coast of Scotland and haven’t heard of any around this area so we are looking forward to going back again in December when we visit family for Christmas.

Popped in for breakfast Sunday the 1st Dec.Our server was Lottie(I think or Poppy).Very efficient ,happy and smiling) it was busy but our food pipping hot and delicious arrived quickly.Service from Lottie excellent and she cleaned tables quickly,took orders and payments.A pleasure to be served by her.

Bring back the old menu especially the breakfast! All very mediocre and no beans, tomato or mushroom anymore. The atmosphere was not the same without the rat pack music either. I will add the service off of waitress was excellent.

A couple weeks back now I visited with my partner. It had been a very hard week as my dad was admitted to the Douglas McMillan hospice about 10 minutes down the road. It was by chance really that we stayed at Frank’s and Benny’s as we hadn’t really planned to go that way, just wanted five minutes out. It’s difficult to know what to write in reviews these days as it feels like basic levels of service are looked over and everybody expects to be wowed or blown away to even consider leaving a review. But this was one of those times where everything just felt nice. A warm environment, service with a smile and really nice food. I would really like to thank Saskia for her service, I’m not sure if this review will ever be seen or read (I know we certainly didn’t used to bother when I worked for Wetherspoons) but I really would like to thank her for her kindness, warmth and service with a lovely smile.

Frankie & Benny's still remains a shadow of its former self, after many years of avoiding them I tried them again and not much has changed. The service and food was rather bland with its reduced menu, it's not cheap and better food can be had for your money. Having said that, the decor and was ok and they still take your order from you at your table with pen and paper, but gone is the American vibe, happy birthdays and that bit of difference. They are not listed amongst the Meerkat discounts anymore either and the gents toilet was missing a seat when I visited.

Brilliant service and tasty breakfast . Menu has changed but staff were so accommodating and assured us we could have a traditional breakfast if preferred . Everyone was friendly, polite and helpful. Great place to come for breakfast !

Had such a lovely time at Trentham Frankie & Bennys for my daughter’s birthday meal. Our server Jacque was faultless, so friendly, accommodating and approachable! Made our afternoon perfect to be honest!

rst of all this was probably the lowest standard of food I have had in a long time, and for the price it was absolutely awful. With the child’s meal (big eater) there was about 10 chips. The pasta was cold and not very nice at all, when asked if we wanted any sauces, we asked for bbq, when bill to then come and find we had been charged £1 for a tiny tub. The brownie was more like a cheap cake, same for the ice cream. Staff weren’t the best. The only plus was we didn’t wait long for food. Would never go back there.

Food was fantastic as always and i just want to say our server Red recommended both our side and desert and they were both fantastic so thanks Red !!!!!!

Food is overpriced and not that great macaroni was tasteless and overcooked garlic bread was burnt although chips were nice enough had far cheaper and much better meals in a pub chain.

We have been to Franky and Bennys at Trentham Gardens. We went to the toilets, and they were duscustting no toilet paper toilets dirty nowhere to dry your hands toilet brushes filthy. Food served look warm To top it all two staff on their break smoking outside in there aprons they wear and went back in and started service customers I will never go again The hygiene is much to be desired

Have been before and it's been ok. Not today. Ignored by two members of staff when I tried to order. Had been told to come in as we were sat outside. Stood and waited while someone else paid. Their transaction finished and the server just walked off! Not a word to me. Another girl came to the bar and unloaded lots of dirty glasses. Then picked up clean cutlery out of a drawer and refilled a cutlery box for a table. No hand washing. Tables weren't cleared, menus were grubby. Needless to say I left. And won't return.

Always such great customer service which makes for a very enjoyable experience. They are always so friendly and extremely accommodating! If you need something changing on the menu, you just ask and they will try and sort it for you. The food is always very enjoyable, they do brilliant breakfasts for adults and children with a great variety - especially for vegetarians. We love it here and go often. I find it baffling that it's always so quiet as its always great food, and extremely great customer service!

Not been for a few months and decided to nip in with friends for a breakfast. However thought it was strange when we entered the venue as there weren't many customers. Seems the menu change has made a difference. No full breakfast anymore. However the staff were very accommodating and offered suggestions to alter the New York one which made it more appealing.

I was reluctant to go to Frankie and bennys having had a bad experience many years ago… Atomosphere has been brilliant in here, we ordered starters mains and deserts and all have been delicious! Service has been incredible- nothing has been too much trouble atall and every need has been met for the table , Thankyou to Ozzie for making it a great experience, you have great staff working in this chain and all have been professional and friendly Thankyou Laura and Kenny

Extremely tired looking interior. Food below average at best (Steak was terrible). Service was extremely slow. Food was not correct to order, and the male waiter insinuated that this was our problem (Bacon and sausage on a Veggie breakfast 🙄). Regretted wasting a meal out here when there are much better restaurants in the area.

Went to get dinner to takeaway and got issued to the bar to order. Was served by the really lovely Ozzie who was super kind and chatty, helping us with a long order and made us feel welcomed throughout. Thank you Ozzie :)

We had Ozzie serving us at the trentham location and he was a very friendly man! We ordered takeout and despite the system being a bit complicated, he got us everything we wanted! Would recommend!

The seats have seen better days, very worn.

Initially on first inspections I was going rate this as 4 stars. The seating appeared worn and the springs had cleared become worn. However as my visit progressed the staff appears extremely friendly and helpful. Food arrived quickly and was hot and flavoursome. Staff had to deal with a couple next to us that continually moaned. They remained apologetic (even though they did nothing wrong) and professional throughout. I’ve therefore decided to make this 5 stars as would be unfair in the staff to rate them lower. Good choices were good, good value kids meals and large selection to choose from.

we got frankie and benny’s for pickup. absolute great food and very inexpensive for what we got. food was still steaming even after a 15 minute drive back to the hotel. staff were so friendly when we got there

Very nice restaurant and ideal for us as we were attending a concert in Trentham Gardens. Was very busy, I suspect due to the concert and whist they took our order quickly they forgot about our starters that sat on the counter until we reminded our waiter. Main course came quickly apart from the side order, which arrived a few minutes later. All the food was very tasty and good value. The waiter was distracted again after leaving the bill and forgot to bring the card machine until I reminded him.

We had a lovely time at Frankie and Bennys this evening. On arrival the restaurant was busy, due to a concert near to the venue, but soon relaxed. The waitress, Natalie, was clearly very busy but maintained a very professional image whilst being very attentive to her customers, her happy demeanour was delightful and she brought a smile to all of our faces. The food was served quickly, despite how busy the restaurant was, and was truly delicious.

We all enjoyed today's meal, and Migda was very friendly and smiley :)
