Just popped in for a quick drink after work, really welcoming atmosphere and nice friendly service from the guys behind the bar :) will definitely be calling in for food next time as the pizza 🍕 and the burger 🍔 on the next table looked amazing 👏

Busy due to the promo and we had to chase our drinks but the food was great as usual.

Went for Sunday lunch, personally not over impressed food not hot enough, neither the starter or main. The belly pork was delicious. The service was good, a new waitress on her 1st shift & apologising for making sure she was getting it right but slightly slow but told her we all have to learn & she was lovely & quite in control for the 1st shift, double chk'd our order, so w/done.

A warm welcome on arrival, prompt attentive service, a good selection on the lunchtime menu, everyone enjoyed themselves so thank you very much.

Pretty good menu and staff. One of the more pricey but cooked well. Enjoyed our visit.

Food was microwaved and very ordinary. Servers need more training. Very pleasant but lacked service skills. Atmosphere was subdued.

The visit was a family celebration of 7 adults and a baby/pram. Everything was great with the food and service. A very nice and friendly atmosphere.

Quite a few items on the menu were sold out. Steak, potato’s, olives and all pizza’s due to no dough. (I feel I might be missing something too) The menu is not extensive which I don’t mind but when you take off all the pizzas and garlic bread and the steaks. You left with a small option. Then I look at having sea bass but no potatoes so I could have it with chips. Who has sea bass and chips? I wanted olives to start and no olives. You missed out on a chance to increase our price per head. I ended up having a lasagna which was lovely but it’s not what I wanted originally. Lady who served us was lovely but we did feel rushed when she collected our mains in at 9:30pm and said the kitchens closed but I’ll ask if you can still have desserts. Overall it’s a nice evening but there’s definitely improvements to be had.

Lovely pub inside, managed to turn up on a Friday evening and get a table for 4 easily. Kids disappointed they ran out of pizzas. Portion sizes could have been better for the price you pay, had to ask for gravy for the Steak pie. Service was a bit slow, we had to ask for the table to be cleared after our main meal and for the dessert menu

We have visited here numerous of times and always been happy with the service and quality of food. However a visit at the weekend was extremely disappointing. Service was very slow even though there were only a couple of tables occupied. Since our previous visit the Kids Menu has changed dramatically. I feel charging £8.50 for 3 small pieces of battered fish(smaller than a fish finger) , a small pot of beans and a few veg sticks is excessive and to add insult to injury no orange squash (apparently none behind the bar) only blackcurrant to have the drink included in the so call deal, an orange Fruit Shoot was an additional £1!!! When we asked why the menu had changed and it was only an option to have chips or beans we were told by the waitress that it was Government Guidelines for calorie intake for children??? We asked if it would be possible to have some more beans to which she said she would get the manager. To be honest the managers customer service skills were debatable and when asking him if we could have some additional beans he stated he would have to ask the chef!!! It was at this stage after our starters being at best average (not as good as previous visits) we decided to leave (we did pay for what we consumed). We will NOT be returning.

I can't fault this place. We were a party of 6 for an early evening meal - even though we ended up staying all evening. The atmosphere was great for a meal with friends where we could easily chat over our meal. The food was excellent and the service was faultless.

Superb thatched pub with excellent food and changing guest beers which are kept in consistently good condition. Highly recommended.

Had a great visit to the three crowns on monday night , they had a great selection of drinks 🍺 , I would even go as far as saying they had the best draught options in the area. Service was fast ,atmosphere was great 👍 would recommend and would visit again

I called today to make a booking for christmas day. The girl who answered was very nice and explained because there 14 of us they only do tables of 8. Asked for 2 tables. A gentleman (?) Then came on the phone and literally said " what's the issue" I said there isn't an issue I would like to book 2 tables for Christmas day please. His reply- well you can but they won't be anywhere near each other. He was SO rude I still can't quite believe what happened. Needless to say we didn't make the booking. Maybe he was having a bad day but should still speak to customers properly.

First time we have been to this pub and upon arrival we were greated by a very friendly person who gave us excellent service. The food was excellent and well presented will return again

New customer - disappointed I visited on a weekday lunchtime and the pub was fairly busy with diners. First thing to say is the inside of the pub is superbly decorated in an olde worlde style and looks magnificent! The atmosphere was good too with mainly elderly customers. Drinks are slightly expensive. I had the Pie of the Day, chips and veg. Food presentation was excellent. The Pie was turkey, except there was hardly any meat in the pie! I felt shortchanged. The sauce in the pie was like a creamy leek sauce and tasted nice and the pastry lid was tasty too. The chips were below par in terms of taste and texture and were rather disappointing. The veg was all good. Also the gravy in the gravy boat tasted fine. The staff were polite and informative about the menu Luckily I used a 40% off voucher which made the cost palatable for a meal which wasn't up to scratch sufficiently - the food I had was not worth the full price!

Lovely pub, will definitely be back. Food was outstanding and had a great portion size, Adele was our server and went above and beyond for us.

Came for a father’s day meal and this place did not disappoint! Amazing food and our server (Adele) went above and beyond for us, spending time discussing the meals with us to help us decide. She was truly lovely and made the day so special. We will definitely be back.

Me and my partner came in for food today for Father’s Day and we were served by Adele. She was so lovely and accomodating and even gave recommendations of dishes. Will definitely be back soon x

Went in for Fathers Day and expected the usual Sunday Roast menu. Had an excellent piece of Lamb, great veg, gravy and tremendous Pudding. Nice staff with a sense of humour. Will definitely go again.

Bloody good snappin pleasant staff

Food was average but wine was atrocious. Bottle very warm on arrival at table and almost tasted off, red South African and did not improve over the meal so much so we left it. After a mediocre experience at the Swan Holme in Lincoln and now here at the Tree Crowns very disappointed. Reported at time to management but not interested- only keen to push loyalty which we will not be bothering with in the future. You can get better quality of food and drinks for a similar price at local independents.

Brilliant meal, excellent taste and generous portion sizes. Would highly recommend.

Could not fault it everything about our visit was spot on from entering the premises to leaving the place looked very inviting the staff were responsive and engaging food was excellent and well presented. Sat outside for a while after to enjoy drinks and the seating area was well maintained with nice furniture.

Fab food and I really enjoyed my birthday prosecco.

Fab tasty food we really enjoyed it. What a bonus it was too that the day we chose to go for lunch it was warm and sunny so we could sit outside. Unfortunately sunshine isn't on the menu but great food is.

Menu was fairly limited for us (over 80's). Noisy with babies crying. Skin on chips (a no no).

We moved to the area a few months ago and this pub is in our doorstep! It’s a fantastic pub with a great team they are all very friendly and helpful every time we visit! I love that you have a choice of where to eat and that your dogs are welcome too with their own menu! There a great choice of drinks and food. We last visited on bank holiday Monday when family were visiting out of the area - we had a brilliant lunch and were served by Zara who is always very attentive and looks after us when we visit 😊

Acoustics were terrible I could here everybody but the people on my table, food was ok - calorie count on menu printed in a larger font than the 10% service charge on the bill!

Restaurant half full and told table wasn’t ready - that’s fine - ordered drinks - then told table is ready- but drinks didn’t arrive until at least 7 minutes ( sitting on the bar ) . Three girls chatting at the bar.

Lovely atmosphere and nice surroundings. Food was lovely too. We did have an issue with a child pudding but it was changed no problem.

CAREFUL!!! This place offers £20 off when you spend £40 .. in the small print you can't use the voucher until 24 hours later. To make matters worse even after the guy had told me this (both members of staff looked happy to tell me I'd be paying the full price and one even said it happens all the time) the bartender walked up to the table to further tell us it's in the small print and 'people would just use the voucher straight away' . Yes that's why people are coming in.. that's why vouchers exist to drive footfall... But this one has driven us away from using you again.

Lovely place, very friendly staff, but the food let them down, prawn cocktail starter should have been called lettuce cocktail not many prawns and not much sauce, butter that hard couldnt spead on btead slices, mains we had pie, was suppossed to be turkey and mushroom, not one mushroom could be found and pastry on top under cooked, veg quite hard, such a shame as it has such a lovely atmosphere

Honestly could not recommend this place enough, such a lovely and family friendly atmosphere and great for the dogs as well with their dog friendly section. Special thanks to our amazing waitress Zara as she really went above and beyond for us during our time there, all around 10/10 place.

Absolutely the best little pub/restaurant for miles. Thanks to Zara for serving us today, she’s very attentive. The food is always absolutely spot on. ALL of the staff are an absolute credit and an asset to the place, the manager is the most polite and friendly manager I’ve ever met. It’s such a fantastic place. Will not go anywhere else and we now frequent it at least twice weekly. The prices are so so reasonable, there’s a great rewards scheme they have in place. If you haven’t tried, do!

Lovely little pub. Especially in the winter with the log fire roaring. I just feel the food is a little overpriced. But it's really nice.

Wonderful delicious Sunday lunch with friends. The staff were so pleasant and cheerful, the ambience cosy and welcoming and the food was so moreish with great varieties to choose from. An all round great dining experience. Our first visit but definitely not the last.

As always a cosy atmosphere. The staff were very efficient and the young lady who served us was exceptionally polite and attentive. The food was well prepared, well presented and tasty. Only downside is the price of drinks but that is to be expected as this is a restaurant that sells drinks more than a pub that sells food

Well what can I say about here. An absolutely lovely place. Went with a friend for an evening meal and it was beautiful. I really can't fault the food, service or lovely surroundings. The three courses I had were absolutely amazing. I had the Hunters chicken dish for mains. Lovely. We were waited on amazingly by Zara and Amy. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They served us well. I highly recommend coming here for food and drink. It has a big car park and the place is lovely and clean with alot of history behind it.

I’ve got to say, what an amazing atmosphere you have there, the food was absolutely fantastic and I wanted to give a huge thank you for our waitress Zara, who really helped us out a lot and always have a smile on her face, was extremely kind and always listened to everything we was saying.
