We stayed here as a pit stop on our way up to Blackpool and tied in a visit to The Monkey,Forest, which is two minutes away in the car. The hotel itself was clean and tidy, and we had a room on the ground floor.. you needed your room key to be able to access the rooms, adding some extra security. The room was spacious and clean.. the beds are always comfortable.. the bathroom had ambient lighting, which was a great touch.. The hotel had two restaurants within walking distance, one being a franlie and bennys.. we had breakfast in the morning, which was good.. always a large selection, we just had a little wait for some cooked items to be replenished.. Overall, it was a good stay, and we would definitely stay again if the need arises.

Perfect location for trentham Gardens, shops, garden center, monkey forest. The food is good and well worth going for the breakfast included. I would have done a 5 star if it hadn't been for one of the staff that needed a lesson in social etiquette and customer service.

I stayed on Sunday night in an impromptu need of refuge when I was too unwell to travel home. The rooms were spotlessly clean, well equipped, and the reception staff were kind, caring, and understanding when I requested a few extra supplies, which they were able to provide. There were lots of options for food and drink both within the hotel and on the grounds, and Trentham Gardens were in the vicinity to explore. At night, the hotel was peacefully quiet and the beds were very comfortable. Now if I could just convince them to have a few dog friendly rooms, for those of us who normally travel with a well-behaved companion, then it would be perfect!

I travel to various Premier inns and can be quite critical, however this is by far the nicest location, hotel, rooms & service I’ve come across in my years. Whether business or leisure this is a great choice and truly a little gem of Stoke.

I have stayed at a lot of these and this is by far one of the best. The room was big and big walk in shower. Lovely beds and did the meal deal. Everything i ate was yummy. Loads of parking

I was visiting my sister and she enjoyed her stay saying the bed was comfortable. We met up to try a gluten free breakfast which was fruit or bacon! Not what we expected. We also had dinner that was gluten free. It was delicious

The hotel is ideally situated for a visit to the gardens and Wedgwood. The shopping area is worth a visit too. The room I had was large, spacious and very clean. The bed was comfortable and the bedding good quality. There is free parking on site. The person in reception was minimally helpful and minimal with his manners. He gave the impression he couldn’t be arsed. Same person served us in the restaurant and I felt like he was throwing the plates at us. Absolutely no customer rapport at all. The food wasn’t presented well and wasn’t very good. Somewhat reminiscent of a works canteen. The only redeeming factor is the price. It’s is incredibly cheap. But if I hadn’t prepaid the meal deal I would have asked for my money back. It was just edible and no more. Fish batter was soggy like it had been sat around for while. Salt and pepper calamari was exceptionally salty. Lasagne was unpleasant and the sticky toffee pudding appeared with custard but I had asked for ice cream but there was no chance to correct it because it was dropped on the table and off he went. Abysmal. The breakfast is a scrum, the people topping up the buffet seem to lack basic food hygiene skills. The quality of the breakfast is just about acceptable but badly presented and much of the menu seems to be missing. The menu promises scrambles, fried, poached and boiled eggs but scrambled was the only thing on offer whilst I was there. Is it really so hard to clean down the breakfast servery every so often or wear a flair net when handling food?

Very generic premier inn. Very few disabled parking spaces. Staff doesn't make sure that able bodied people refrain from parking in designated spaces for disabled even though you have to give your registration number.

A nice hotel. Very nice rooms, clean and tidy. Reception staff helpful and friendly. Unfortunately let down by the restaurant. The food is ok but the service is atrocious. The first night was not offered any desserts after the mains. The second night, had finished main course still had not had any drinks. Table was cleared then approximately 30 mins passed before asked if we wanted any dessert. To top it of I was charged extra for things that I didn't have. After several times of trying to explain only one of the extras was mine, I just ended up paying the bill as for the sake of £5 I just couldn't face trying to explain it again. Lets hope tomorrows service is slightly better.

All heating, air con turned off as usual in the rooms at premier inns, you have to ask at reception for these basic services to be turned on, shocking, I try and stay anywhere else these days, (3 days a week) premier inns have really deteriorated in the last 2 years, very poor value for money, they need a serious if they want to survive,

Don't call this hotel. It's an 0871 number, which charged us £0.91 for 11 seconds. Really!! Their number should be an 0333 as the other Premier Inn hotels around the country. Shame on you!

Decent room totally spoiled by continuous noise from the adjacent dual carriageway at the rear of the hotel. The double-glazed main window has a large ventilated head and the secondary glazing is poor. So much for the good night guarantee!

Dear Premiere Inn Management, I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service from your company with my booking at the premier in Trentham 19/12/2024. My journey to the hotel was severely disrupted by three consecutive train cancellations. Despite numerous attempts to contact the hotel by phone for over an hour I was unable to reach anyone. This lack of communication left me feeling stranded and extremely anxious about my accommodation. Furthermore, upon checking the hotel website, I discovered that the hotel would be closed after 11:00 PM. This information was not communicated to me during my failed attempts to contact the hotel by phone, causing further distress and uncertainty. The lack of support and communication from your staff during this stressful situation is completely unacceptable. I expect a full explanation and a full refund . I look forward to your prompt response and a resolution to this matter. Sincerely, Nicola Hefetz

A great location to visit Trentham gardens and the estates as well as the shopping village. The staff were friendly and attentive. Comfortable room although the layout is a little odd. The wash basin is not in the bathroom but in the bedroom, which is not ideal. Breakfast was to the usual standard with a variety of options to cater for different dietary requirements. For the size of the hotel, the car park is on the smaller side but we were able to find a space.

I booked for stoke on Trent for tomorrow night and it has printed an invoice for the 6/5/24. Tried getting through to Premier Inn but to no avail. If this is how they treat their customers then I’m stopping using them, and that is quite a lot!!

Bathroom does not have a proper solid door. Its glass with no latch or lock, and lets the light and noise through. Sink in the bathroom - not in the ensuite. Do not stay here if you are with a family - you will not get a good nights sleep. Would suggest its only really fine for single occupancy. No towel rail - and no hooks to hang towels. There was a switch to turn on the towel rail - but it seems it has been removed. They obviously didnt think to replace it with something else. I used the hangers in the end. Wierd. Premier Inn room designers do not need to "re-think" what an ensuite is. Please put the sink in the ensuite, use a normal door, and add somewhere to put towels please. Stick to the basics and if you dont want to - you should really halve the price!!

Food is just about passable for microwave food. The whole restaurant was complaining about wait times, and the service was pretty awful. Steak baguette had barely any filling. Definitely stay clear!

I've been going here for many years. The set banquet menu used to be good value and the quality of the food was excellent. Went a couple of weeks ago and waited an hour to get any food and the dishes on the banquet meals were ridiculously small. However they have increased prices from £20 to £26. Clearly they're cutting back on costs and staff.... End of an era....such a pity but won't be going back

Bar service can be abit slow, but this maybe due to pub changing hands and staff numbers might be low due to this but foods good and atmosphere too
