Always had great pies from here, great to have gluten free options too ☺️

Bought 3 pies for £12 to take out, not cheap but they are normally nice. Be warned they have added tips to you bill and if you don't pay the extra 10 to 20% which I don't really expect to when just buying them to take home. You will only end up with half a pie mushed up in one of the boxes.

Visited for lunch with mate. I had the mothership Kate & Sidney pie. Even though this is only a standard steak and kidney pie it was absolutely amazing, very tasty. It came on a bed of mashed potato, peas, and gravy. I have to say it's a bit pricey (£12 odd per dish) we paid just over £24 but it was very nice. Would I go again? Yeah absolutely, if I'm flush.

Lovely pies and a quick, friendly service

Numbering system must have gone out of sequence today. Waited 35 minutes for food, customers arriving later being served first. No mushy peas unless we waited another 8 minutes on top of the 35 already waited. Offered free pot of tea that never materialised. Not the greatest experience today. Pity because normally the food is great and service good when it works.

Great pie shop. Great selection of pies that caters for all tastes. Meat, vegetarians and vegans. Good portions and tasty side orders. High quality foods and good value. Also served proper teas in teapots. Friendly staff. Highly recommended place to eat.

We go often, even sometimes for a coffee and the staff/service is always brilliant. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The food is amazing.

Great little place for a decent pie with mash and peas. Not massive portions, but big enough to fill a hole. Very quick service too. Pie and mash starts at a tenner then you can add more if you like.

We had lovely pie mash and graving and we really enjoyed it.

Sadly, it's not what it used to be. The meat content was very poor. Flavours were delicious but a very significant drop in quality.

Been twice now, and looking forwards to our third! Given the cost of living crisis, prices are reasonable, but the food is really well worth it. Packed with flavours, and never needed any extra seasoning. The menu has a good range of vegetarian and vegan offers. Staff are friendly and helpful too.

To start, I’d like to praise the food and staff because our meal was delicious as always and the service was great! However… even though there is an outside seating area, dogs are also allowed inside the restaurant and there was even one sitting on the bench while we were there. You wouldn’t put your feet on a chair someone is going to sit on so why is it acceptable to allow a dogs feet and backside on them! I’m not sure why it’s suddenly become the in thing to be “dog friendly” where people eat - I certainly don’t want to pay for a meal and have to sit near a dog while eating it. If the inside remains dog friendly then we won’t be eating there again.

Just had a really nice lunch here. Staff were friendly, service was quick and the tables were really clean. The pie was an absolute treat. We will return!

I had an amazing meal for a great price! They had two great gluten free pie options and even had gluten free gravy to have with it (and a gf beer!) The staff were lovely and helpful and the outdoor seating was lovely as well, I can imagine it being an even more fantastic spot when it gets warmer in the summer

Fantastic pies. Chicken and mushroom was amazing. Cheesy mash was great. Selection of sides a bit limited.

Hopeless. Visit here maybe once a month. They are either closed, closing early or don’t have the pie you want. Every. Single. Time. Just poor.

We were on a coach trip last week & called in to Piemaster..bought Steak & Ale, Steak & Stilton & Chicken Bacon & Leek pies...they were absolutley delicious..probably best pies I've had. Pastry was short & crisp & plenty of filling. Definately recommend..real treat!!

The pie was lovely today. Much improved. Lots of filling and softer pastry.

Meal was really nice when I last went but this time decided to have what was said to be a bakewell slice, it was not nice, someone forgot the almond flavouring which is what makes a bakewell nice (in my opinion) No flavour to it whatsoever, I left it after 1 bite

I had high expectations based on reviews... I always look out for home made pies, however... Although the Pie flavour was very nice (Steak & Kid) the Pastry was very hard in places; also, not much meat or kidney. I am not a fan of metal plates particularly old Style Enamel plates, they do NOT hold heat well... therefore the gravy was almost cold after a few bites of the Pie. The mash was passable, roughly mashed, although it was a little dry, for me it needed more Cream or Butter. I won't be returning. at over £10 for Pie and Mash with gravy and a Coke. Not worth it. I am so disappointed.

Had the fungi chicken pie with mash and gravy really good. The whole dish and the pie was full of filling. The only downside was gravy and mash. Hardly warm and pie was just hot did not complain . Don't think I will be coming back should have got it right. First time

Each time I’ve been here it’s been a really young team running the show, and they’ve been absolutely brilliant. The food is always fantastic and the coffee is really good. Keep up the good work 👍🏼

Ate here for the first time. Noticed that food was served very quickly but we had a longer wait because we ordered one meal gluten free, it was worth the wait. Tasty and filling.

Fairly good choice of vegan and gluten free options. Not really suitable for lactose intolerance as far as I could tell. Not a lot of seating and I felt bad for the wait staff as they were overrun and ignored. Food and staff were great

I had the steak and kidney pie as part of the mothership deal. It came with mash potato, minted mushy peas, gravy, onion bits and cheese. It was very filling and the pie was very nice with good quality filling and a decent pastry case. The mint in the peas was unnecessary and the cheese on top a liitle weird. If anything the mash should of been a cheddar mash which would of been more cohesive. The staff were lovely and tables readily available. There wasn't any decent atmosphere with no music, sparse decoration and basic tables and chairs. I'd eat here again, but for £10.45 for pie and mash I wouldn't go out of my way to do so.

Not my first time for their pies. We had sit and coffee ☕ 😋 and pie and mash meal. On old fashion tin plate. Food was lovely 😍 😋 ☺ nice hot 🔥 😋. Staff where friendly. Good, friendly service. If you are after cheap pie and chips this is not what you are looking for. If you love pies then this is a place to try something new. Indoor seating a bit cramped but I will eat there again.

Pies are good size with quality fillings. Staff are friendly and service was good. Prices are reasonable.

Been here four times now and each visit I have to award 10/10 for food taste, yumminess and choice. I also have to award the same for the service you get. I am fussy about the food i eat out, and being a meat-free zone, i find i am limited by your typical menu, but here I have a few options to choose from. Thats why i keep going back and continue to do so. Even my 80 year old mother loves it when we go there ... Keep up the good work, guys! :-)

Visited here a few times, and never strayed from my now "usual" 😂. Not the cheapest, but certainly not a let down... pie and mash, you can't go wrong

My family and I drove an hour to visit arrived 1.30hrs before closing to be told they had switched the oven off and not serving. Must not need the business very disappointing

I love this place. Being Coeliac I have to be careful where I eat, being Vegetarian limits me even more. Pieminister are brilliant at catering to both dietary requirements. The food is delicious and the service is great!

First time eating here today! We had a fantastic time! I had a mushroom asparagus white wine pie, absolutely delicious and a lovely change from the bog standard cheese and onion I get offered everywhere else as a vegetarian. My daughter had a chicken one which she too said was delicious. We were served today by lovely lady called Diane 😊. We couldn't fault our dining experience. Thank you.

I am moving to America on Saturday and am going to really miss Pieminster’s pie - the Kevin mothership (mash, minty peas, gravy) in particular. I wish I could take a suitcase of them back with me. Thank you for such an amazing 🌱 pie.

Service not great 😒 improvements needed, But pie meal was delicious,outstanding quality meat in pie unfortunately bottom of pie very hard couldn't cut through or eat 😕 Would recommend just to try pies if close to area ££ cost wise

Was a little cool at first but the staff soon warmed it up. Had the Steak and Kidney. Delicious tender meat with all the trimmings. Will definitely return.

An extensive range of pies to eat in or take out hot or cold ,also a variety of sides are available to complement the meal.

Not sure what all the fuss is about. Pies are ok. Average sizes just about worth the prices. Don't get me wrong, the food is fine, just not spectacular and the place is usually busy with limited seating and staff so expect a bit of a wait.

I don't usually write reviews but this place was deserving for one. Ordered the food online as iI just moved house and it was late. The food tasted so fresh and so flavourful, the mash was creamy and was flavourful, not dry or bland like most mash. The pies were like something I would get if I went back home to my mother's and she cooked me a homemade pie, the sauces were creamy, the meat well tendered, the overall food well seasoned and bursting with a mouthful of flavours. Only feedback I would give is they forgot my chips and I couldn't contact you to receive them When buying online offer portion sizes for the sides, would of loved to had a larger portion of peas! Write on the packaging which pie is which to prevent confusion. Give a description online of what your pies contain, I like the names of the pies but it doesn't say much about them. This feedback is only a suggestion but overall I Loved the food I got, definitely ordering again!

Having never been to this shop, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, good range of meat and vegan/veggie pies. Service by Emily was great. Very polite and attentive. Can't really fault my experience today!
