The best restaurants in Whitchurch North Shropshire West Midlands

On the way back from Liverpool airport my car broke down with my wife and young children with me. I managed to get the car into the car park of the Horse and Jockey. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and helped us arrange for a local garage to repair our car as we didn't know the area. We had an excellent meal, very high standard at a great price. The pub is beautifully presented and very clean and tidy. The kids had a great time in the play area. The local ale was very good as well! An unfortunate breakdown was made easier by a lovely afternoon.

Fantastic place to eat and socialize

This cafe is right in the centre of Whitchurch. We sat outside in lovely sunny weather listening to a local busker and chatting to one of the local characters. Coffee and cake was excellent as was the service.

I love this coffee shop. The food is always excellent, and is good value too. I have always received a warm welcome from the ladies who work there.

Like stumbling into a house party on a university campus, everyone was friendly like you’d known them for years. Everywhere you look there’s something that makes you smile and the music was amazing. I never really write reviews but it’s 7am and I’m still laughing about last night.

What a great find. Easy parking. Nice welcome. Excellent attention by servers. Good menu with reasonable prices. The food and service was excellent. Prices very reasonable. Will definitely visit again and recommend to friends.

Can’t even deliver food properly. Won’t give me a refund even though I don’t get the food

Ordered food for collection at 6:15. The lady behind the counter slipped up and gave our food away to a customer as we got there meaning we had to wait another hour to get our food. As an apology they gave us 4 cans of coke? Absolute joke. Going elsewhere next time.

Food was stale had to bin it. The rice smelt and tasted like it was reheated and flavourless. Not been in months thought I'd give it one last go. Won't happen again

Get our food regularly here. We have tried many Indian restaurants and takeaways but none have been as good as the food here. Would recommend to anyone.

2 hours from order to delivery- not great!

Fantastic pub. Friendly bar staff. We come from out of the area, and it feels like our local. It's well worth a visit.
