Costa Coffee in Shropshire

Some people weren't wearing masks or observing social distancing! Coffee was good!

Never been to a Costa and never will.dont drink coffee,dont particularly like chains

We went to Costa on Sunday 6th October 2024. There were 2 ladies behind the counters, Emiua and Mia These two ladies were run off their feet, it was shocking. The queue was out of the door. We asked the ladies if they were OK, and one of the ladies burst into tears. Management should be doing something about their staffing numbers.

A fantastic local ‘national’ coffee shop. Josh and his team make this a great place to enjoy a great coffee. Wonderful atmosphere, friendly warm welcome into a neat, clean and tidy coffee shop.

Very slow considering few people in. Also very slap dash constructing coffee which was probably the worse coffee I have ever had in costa. Been here before and always been fine.

27/05/24 14.45. Doors open, no customers , staff busy chatting in the back. Young girl comes out. Told her the doors were open but she refused to serve me as they closed at 15.00. Bad attitude and service. Will never use again !!!!

Excellent coffee - sad that the premises have been allowed to become so tired and grubby.

The standard Costa experience really, nice staff, fast service, consistent drinks and in a good location in the town.

Bought a coffee with oat milk which although nice wasn't very warm

It's a Costa so nothing dramatic but friendly service and nice quiet calm ambience. Just what I needed having diverted in off the M6 (closed that day). Pretty little town too.

Only place i can find that does de/caff tea the service is excellent as to is the price compared to another well known coffee outlet the atmosphere has a real community feel about it.

Well positioned cafe in the town centre and large at the back. Nice and clean and with all the normal costa coffee facilities. Modern interior and decor. Watch out for the automatically closing entrance door.

Lovely Costa, staff always friendly and always play around with my 16 month old, even offer him a babychino a few times. Josh (manager) is really friendly and happy to chat and answer any questions and very down to earth! High chairs always kept clean which is great, and store itself is clean and tidy. Bathrooms are always cleaned regularly

Visited here on my to see family. A lovely Costa staff are friendly very clean and great coffee. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Its a COSTA FOR GOODNESS SAKE! But no ordinary Costa, you see years ago it was Fullgonies a Saloni de Te, If you went their for tea, your mother made sure you washed your hands, polished your shoes & knew how to place pink cotton serviettes correctly

It's a great cup of coffee but not dog friendly, even with my puppy Chihuahua in a carrier, I now go to a lovely Spanish coffee shop in town which welcomes dogs

False advertisement of the dairy swirl. Every single time you go into this costa they never have the dairy swirl. When we said this they told us other employees couldn’t be arsed to make it. We were also left waiting while the two staff members had a long conversation and ignored us.

Fantastic hot chocolate and caramel latte. Cakes were lovely. Clean and tidy. Customer service was outstanding from Josh his energy is fantastic What a wonderful calming atmosphere.

It's ok if no interesting independent coffee shop available, average coffee, expensive uninteresting snacks.

Josh and his hardworking team do a fantastic job in operating this most friendly and comfortable coffee shop. No request seems too much trouble and an excellent coffee along with a friendly welcome always awaits.

Mostly ok, but the amount of time i travel here, they very rarely have brown bread for toast. And on the odd occasion when they did, it came with only one side toasted, so i sent it back so they could do the other side, and then it came back so overdone it disintegrated

Have actually been going out of my way to check out the local independents since moving up here but (having been familiar with most Costas within 20 miles of Milton Keynes) thought I'd better give it a go. Loved it, recommend it; call me shallow but like the familiar feel. So... really good coffee shops in Whitchurch and... Costa is right up there! ☕

Situated on the High Street in town, staff are extremely helpful and friendly, you can take a window seat an watch the world go by, good quality food and drinks.

No hot food and air con kn full blast made it really chilly

Sad to say the place is dirty with luke warm drinks and cakes on the stale side. Far nicer coffee shops in the town, give this one a miss

Lovely place nice and clean but service was a little slow

Haven't been in for a while. Only 2 staff on, tables not cleared and when I asked for a fork for my food, was told I'd have to wait until others were served. I also mentioned that having been to the toilet, the water was consistently running and couldn't be turned off. Lady snapped at me, saying she was extremely busy and would get round to it when time allowed. I said that I was only informing her, not having a go at her. Considering it's half term week, they need more happy and productive staff. Needless to say I won't be going there again

Costa coffee is a good place to visit as you get great coffee and a cake to eat yum yum I don't like the prices yet I still pay them so I guess the chocolate shortbread must be good.

Nice Costa in downtown whitchurch

The store was not to busy as the lunch time rush had finished, as we had mum with us and in a wheelchair we went in side and found a table and looked at the menu on the table we made our choice and we had cappuccino a latte tosted teacake carrot and walnut cake and a tomato and basil soup, my soup was not very hot I took it back and the assistant gave me another one which was better very clean and helpful staff, there were plenty of other food available to eat in or take away.

It was lovely and cold on a boiling hot day, could have stayed all day. Super helpful staff.

Usual good food and drink, sadly the staff and service could have been better. Had to go up for several things which bearing in mind that we only had coffee, sandwiches and panini wasn't great!

Staff were really nice and easy to talk to whilst waiting for coffee. The area inside was really open and sitting in there was actually quite pleasant. We went in on a Sunday so it was quiet but it was still bubbling away. The toilets were also very well kept and clean. Overall a really nice Costa!
