The best restaurants in Whitchurch North Shropshire West Midlands

I visited the chip shop for lunch while working nearby. Found it on Google maps. I had a battered sausage, chips and curry sauce, and can honestly say it's the best chippy I've had in a long time. The food was fresh, hot and very tasty. Definitely be back again

Ordered 3 Sunday Roasts for Collection. Delicious lunches. Hot and well presented. Friendly and helpful staff. Generous portions. Very well packed. Empty plates. Would recommend to all and will certainly be calling again. A++++

We have been to Wild Shropshire a couple of times becoming one of our favourite restaurants. The food is creative and delicious with the bonus of an alcohol free creations flight which is an experience in itself. Already looking forwards to our next visit.

I've been eyeing up this restaurant to go to for a long time and everytime I've driven past it it's busy. I've heard others recommend it and I finally went with friends yesterday. Exceptional Italian food. Really great flavours, came out within half hour which is reasonable considering they were full. I had pizza which was great, and my friends had the mushroom risotto and a tagliatelle dish which was very generous. Tiramisu for dessert was so good too! Lovely staff and service. Reasonably priced. I'll certainly be back! Also lots of vegetarian options for my friend which was great.

Whilst visiting Whitchurch for a SPA weekend break a quick Google search for places to eat brought up the Horse and Jockey. Liking the look of the website, we booked a table on the Friday night for 8pm and although we turned up 30 minutes early, the team managed to get a table ready for the two of us. It was a very busy night, the atmosphere was great, a warm, cosy traditional pub. The service was excellent along with a good menu to choose from, in fact both my wife and I were struggling to pick what to go for. In the end, I had the Ribeye and my wife had the lamb shank. Food was excellent, a taste to die for, we even managed a cheeky pudding each. Highly recommended, only downside (and loss of a ⭐️ ) was the fact VAT was added to our bill which we were not expecting as we were unaware all prices shown on the menu and website, were excluding VAT.

Placed an order as was recommended this Indian that will deliver . Placed our order at 17.50 was told our order will be delivered within the hour. At 19.00 was told it’s bagged up and will be delivered within 5 minutes. Rang again at 19.30 and they said they were struggling with drivers but definitely be here within 10 minutes. At 19,45 I rang and just cancelled the order as it was nearly 2 hours from start to finish - very disappointing if they couldn’t deliver should have been informed at the beginning instead of making very poor excuses. Worst experience ever with an Indian takeaway will never use or recommend them to anybody else don’t deserve any custom whatsoever !!!!

Absolutely superb. The best meal I've had in ages and the service was friendly, speedy and efficient. We came here a few years ago & wondered if it would be as good but if anything it was even better. Would highly recommend.

Skikkeleg gode pub mat - og veldig trivelige serverings damer. Vi var ein kveld der vi bestilte middager - veldig godt. Men i dag har vi vært å hatt lunsj og nå har vi hatt kvelds! Vi gjekk for mange tapas retter - det var kjempe godt. Natchosen var himmelsk, kongerekene nydelige, oliven, hallomi fantastisk og mer. Anbefaler

Had a very nice meal here. Service was great. The outside area is not great especially if you want to eat there. Experience spoilt a bit by a large group of men who needed to swear whilst looking at the menu. Strange behaviour. I'm sure this is not a regular thing at this place

Great cafe and deli, very clean and friendly staff. Everything clean and comfortable.We only had tea , cake and a scone but it was well presented and homemade, very tasty . It was busy and the lunches we saw looked lovely . Highly recommend this place.
