Was recommended this restaurant by a Chesire lad in a sauna, and I'm very glad we took his advice. He suggested we book ahead, which was definitely needed as we went on a very busy Friday night. The atmosphere was great, and very lively. All of the staff were really helpful and pleasant to chat to. The food came out in really good time and the portions were very accommodating. I type this review on the Saturday night as we sit down to finish the remainder of our main which we were able to take away - more than enough for another meal! Thanks for a great night.

Takeaway- would not recommend at all would give a zero! Placed a £72.00 order told an hour didn’t arrive. 2nd phone call oh it’s being bagged now didn’t arrive . 3rd phone call it will be 5 minutes, didn’t arrive 4th phone call oh we are struggling with drivers why didn’t you say when we placed the order ? Eventually we cancelled as it had been 2 hours. Should not treat customers this way very very poor service !!!

Placed an order as was recommended this Indian that will deliver . Placed our order at 17.50 was told our order will be delivered within the hour. At 19.00 was told it’s bagged up and will be delivered within 5 minutes. Rang again at 19.30 and they said they were struggling with drivers but definitely be here within 10 minutes. At 19,45 I rang and just cancelled the order as it was nearly 2 hours from start to finish - very disappointing if they couldn’t deliver should have been informed at the beginning instead of making very poor excuses. Worst experience ever with an Indian takeaway will never use or recommend them to anybody else don’t deserve any custom whatsoever !!!!

What a fantastic experience with very personable service from all. Lovely waitress’s to a fantastic meal and drinks. No surprise we had to book as the tables were full with people coming and going.

After writing a favourable review in March 2024 I had not expected to be making any comment on a subsequent occasion. However, this restaurant continues to set a consistently high standard in food and service, and seemingly is well patronized as seen during my latest visit. A wide selection of dishes on offer, and a competitively priced "Five Course Banquet" meal being especially worthy of a mention.

Always good delivery when ordering takeout . Always busy inside the restaurant when I have picked it up. When we have eaten in the service and choice have been very good.

A banquet ordered for Christmas Eve delivery, arrived exactly when requested, friendly drop off by the driver, excellent food and communication from Ali and the team at Blue Water, starting our Christmas off perfectly

Thoroughly impressed by their extensive selection of vegan dishes. It was amazing to have so much choice, something I haven’t had in years. All the food was delicious!

To be honest I found the food average and the staff not that friendly. To make matters worse I had ordered the 5 course banquet which is offered at £12.95 but when I went to pay the bill they tried to charge me for all the courses individually which worked out considerably more expensive. After making the manager aware he rectified his mistake and gave me a tiny chocolate as some kind of apology. I paid the bill and left. I was not impressed. Why would I order the courses individually when I can get them all for £12.95 ? Strange. Something to be aware of.

food is out of this world and I'm a vegan excellent service really friendly staff nothing is to much trouble I love this place and the prices well you will never find better value for money thanks will be back soon

The food is on point every single time.. the banquet is fabulous and if you can't finish.... Take it home... Winner winner.... Staff are always happy and helpful.. never a bad meal here... Food was excellent! Amazing quality for such a good price, we went on a Sunday and got 5 courses for £12.95, great quality, the girls that were waiting on tables were so friendly and attentive!

Excellent, tasty food with a wide variety of dishes providing very good value for money. The service was exceptional with the young waiter going out of his way to please; we were made extremely welcome even though the restaurant was empty and it was close to closing time; would we return, most definitely. Great take out as usual always tasty and correct

We are staying in the area for a week and ordered for a takeaway. We opted for the meal deal for 2, with an extra naan, to share between 3. Delivery was within the expected timescale, about 30/40 mins. We all enjoyed the food, there was plenty for 2 adults, 1 teenager. Curries and sides were flavourful and price reasonable.

Staff were really good about my peanut allergy and very careful. They even showed me pictures of the packaging which had traces of nuts to warn me and explained they have sanitised, separate Utensils to cook in for those with allergies. Really good food and helpful staff.

Came on the off chance whilst on a canal holiday, and what a very pleasant surprise. Everything was great, but two different and stand out dishes were the Afgani Chicken and sathkora fish. Thanks very much.

It was amazing. The food was great and very tasty.

Having read good reviews on TripAdvisor I decided with my daughter to take an early dinner at the Blue Water Restaurant. Arriving on a Wednesday we opted to take advantage of the 5 Course Banquet at £12.95 per head. This seemed to offer good value and indeed we were not to be disappointed. Once settled into comfortable seating we were quickly served with the usual array of chutneys and papadom. These were followed by our starters of meat samosas and onion bhajis. The main dishes being chicken Madras and chicken tikka shashlik served with chilli & garlic fried rice, pilau rice and naan. Desserts were vanilla ice creams. This being our first visit we were also introduced to the gold medal winning Bangla (Bangladeshi) beer, which satisfied our need for liquid refreshment. Good service, clean surroundings, well seasoned tasty food in good size portions. A very pleasant occasion soon to be repeated.

We come here regularly for the banquet deal they offer. Great service, atmosphere and brilliant food. Outstanding value for money!

The food was good, service was a bit slow, but I was in a large party so that could of been why. The only thing I would say against it is the blue lights in the restaurant especially as one of our party was partially sighted and found it difficult to see the menu and also made it difficult for her to judge when walking to the bathroom

Our first visit was on Valentines Night, following an earlier recommendation. The place was bustling, so this was a good early sign. The staff had decorated the tables and walls with balloons and there was roses on tables - a good effort had been made for the evening and it added value to our experience. We opted for the Banquet Deal at £12.95 for 5 courses.....plenty of choices and the portion sizes were good, no corners being cut. I had enough madras sauce to need a lovely naan to mop it up. Left very satisfied and we will definitely be back to Blue Water...soon! Thank you very much!

The food and the service are second to none. As a vegan I have struggled to find restaurants in the area that offer a choice of options. The Blue Water Restaurant has a wide range of vegan options. All the ones I have tried thus far have been absolutely delicious. The portion sizes are very generous and great value for money. The staff are professional, very polite and attentive. I’ll be back there soon. Keep up the great work 😊

We have had a takeaway a few times from blue water when we visit my mum. Its always been excellent. The prawn puree was good this time, i ordered king prawns as a treat, there were only four of them which was disapointing. But everything was hot and tasty as usual.

Fab service, I visit regular and have to say the team are always welcoming. Some very good authentic dishes and great British style currys. Its always busy which tells you all you need but theyll get you in and make a table up . Prices are fair especially the buffets that are very good value.

As usual a fantastic curry this is a five star Indian restaurant. The staff are polite. Don't be put off by anyone giving a 1 star. If you have any problems call the owner Ali he is a true Gentleman and always strives for excellent. He will always listen and resolve any problems instantly.

Food, was generally OK and quite tasty though a couple of different curries dd taste quite samey, as though the same base was used with small different additions to it. More distinct flavours would have been welcome.

Food was lovely as always. However, we had a very rude delivery driver. My partner gave £40 in 2 £20 notes. The driver walked off and didn’t give us our £13 change. He tried to say my partner gave him £30. When he noticed he had £40 in his hand, he threw £10 at my partner in anger and walked off. VERY RUDE!

We visited on Thursday (Banquet evening) - 3 adults and two children had more than enought to eat, plus drinks all round and a tip, for £75. Brilliant!
