Food was excellent! Amazing quality for such a good price, we went on a Sunday and got 5 courses for £12.95, great quality, the girls that were waiting on tables were so friendly and attentive!

Local curry house. Great spot, great service and staff happy to help. Love this spot.

Excellent choice of menu containing some less than usual items.Fish dish was excellent vas was the Mixed meat Biryani - Tandoori Roti was massive -and tasty! Well decorated and efficient service

Excellent, tasty food with a wide variety of dishes providing very good value for money. The service was exceptional with the young waiter going out of his way to please; we were made extremely welcome even though the restaurant was empty and it was close to closing time; would we return, most definitely. Great take out as usual always tasty and correct

We are staying in the area for a week and ordered for a takeaway. We opted for the meal deal for 2, with an extra naan, to share between 3. Delivery was within the expected timescale, about 30/40 mins. We all enjoyed the food, there was plenty for 2 adults, 1 teenager. Curries and sides were flavourful and price reasonable.

Staff were really good about my peanut allergy and very careful. They even showed me pictures of the packaging which had traces of nuts to warn me and explained they have sanitised, separate Utensils to cook in for those with allergies. Really good food and helpful staff.

Came on the off chance whilst on a canal holiday, and what a very pleasant surprise. Everything was great, but two different and stand out dishes were the Afgani Chicken and sathkora fish. Thanks very much.

Having read good reviews on TripAdvisor I decided with my daughter to take an early dinner at the Blue Water Restaurant. Arriving on a Wednesday we opted to take advantage of the 5 Course Banquet at £12.95 per head. This seemed to offer good value and indeed we were not to be disappointed. Once settled into comfortable seating we were quickly served with the usual array of chutneys and papadom. These were followed by our starters of meat samosas and onion bhajis. The main dishes being chicken Madras and chicken tikka shashlik served with chilli & garlic fried rice, pilau rice and naan. Desserts were vanilla ice creams. This being our first visit we were also introduced to the gold medal winning Bangla (Bangladeshi) beer, which satisfied our need for liquid refreshment. Good service, clean surroundings, well seasoned tasty food in good size portions. A very pleasant occasion soon to be repeated.

The food was good, service was a bit slow, but I was in a large party so that could of been why. The only thing I would say against it is the blue lights in the restaurant especially as one of our party was partially sighted and found it difficult to see the menu and also made it difficult for her to judge when walking to the bathroom

Our first visit was on Valentines Night, following an earlier recommendation. The place was bustling, so this was a good early sign. The staff had decorated the tables and walls with balloons and there was roses on tables - a good effort had been made for the evening and it added value to our experience. We opted for the Banquet Deal at £12.95 for 5 courses.....plenty of choices and the portion sizes were good, no corners being cut. I had enough madras sauce to need a lovely naan to mop it up. Left very satisfied and we will definitely be back to Blue Water...soon! Thank you very much!

The food and the service are second to none. As a vegan I have struggled to find restaurants in the area that offer a choice of options. The Blue Water Restaurant has a wide range of vegan options. All the ones I have tried thus far have been absolutely delicious. The portion sizes are very generous and great value for money. The staff are professional, very polite and attentive. We have had a takeaway a few times from blue water when we visit my mum. Its always been excellent. The prawn puree was good this time, i ordered king prawns as a treat, there were only four of them which was disapointing. But everything was hot and tasty as usual.

Fab service, I visit regular and have to say the team are always welcoming. Some very good authentic dishes and great British style currys. Its always busy which tells you all you need but theyll get you in and make a table up . Prices are fair especially the buffets that are very good value.

As usual a fantastic curry this is a five star Indian restaurant. The staff are polite. Don't be put off by anyone giving a 1 star. If you have any problems call the owner Ali he is a true Gentleman and always strives for excellent. He will always listen and resolve any problems instantly.

Food, was generally OK and quite tasty though a couple of different curries dd taste quite samey, as though the same base was used with small different additions to it. More distinct flavours would have been welcome.

Food was lovely as always. However, we had a very rude delivery driver. My partner gave £40 in 2 £20 notes. The driver walked off and didn’t give us our £13 change. He tried to say my partner gave him £30. When he noticed he had £40 in his hand, he threw £10 at my partner in anger and walked off. VERY RUDE!

We visited on Thursday (Banquet evening) - 3 adults and two children had more than enought to eat, plus drinks all round and a tip, for £75. Brilliant!

The best Indian restaurant around.

Wjere doni start!!! The food was just poor quality ingredients. Tasteless, bland, insipid gloop that had clearly been sat in a generic tub used for other blamd tasting sauces. I don't know how the management have the nerve to charge people for such poor tasting food. We complained about the lack of flavour, and we were told that WE were in the wrong and hadn't got a clue about food! Well, we don't have a clue about rubbish food, and this was an unwanted introduction to the worst Indian food I've ever eater. We usually go the Spice Heaven, but unfortunately they were booked up. However, I highly recommend the food and service there if you want a good Indian and not Blue Water Indian.

I ordered a take away. After getting home and opening up one of the dishes ordered was bright pink, and tasted awful. Other dishes were also bland. We complained to the restaurant but was advised we had ordered incorrectly. The restaurant admits to using food colouring in its cooking. Uninspiring flavour and appearance of the dish coupled with argumentitive response to a complaint means we will not return. Picture shows the dish.

Really disappointed with the quality of food here when we came here ad a family. Its the second time we have had bland food from here and the first time I've said something. It is unacceptable, especially when I made a complaint about my order being tastleess, only to be told I was wrong. Such poor customer service! The staff/Owner was very defensive and arrogant, and accused me of lying. I haven't eaten my food because it was so poor and bland. A freshener in how to book AUTHENTIC Indian food is sorely needed here. Would be better than bought in tubs of bland sauce. And before the owner leaves another defensive,snotty reply, as I've read on other plenty of reviews about Bluewater Indian, we lived in India for over 10 years, eating ,cooking and enjoying the food, so I'd say we have a sound knowledge of what good should taste like. Whatever Bluewater serve is poor quality and not indian. In response to the reply, we are not chefs. We are paying customers, who unfortunately have had poor, tastless food when dining inside your restaurant. If you are offended that people complain about your poor food, then it shows a lack of care for your customers. I also feel you have mixed us up with another review that is complaining about your service and poor quality food. Are we all wrong that the food is tasteless??

We visited the local area. Decided to have a take away from Bluewater after reading the excellent reviews. It arrived cold, the sauce was very watery and tastless, the lamb was so bad my wife refused to eat it. Garlic nans hadnt seen any garlic. The chicken tikka is the mass produced wholesale cheap meat many curry houses buy these days ( very dry, tastless, lumps, highly processed) I did eat some of the lamb and have since been in bed with gastroenteritis for 3 days.(but this could also have been the cold chicken, or soup like cold sauce) Hopefully this was a one off for them. But all the same very poor quality, cold, and definitely stay away from the tuff looking lamb substitute. Definitely the worst curry I have ever had. Made me very ill. Good news is I've lost 8 kilos in weight whilst dying in bed for 3 days!

What an amazing place! Although there was a large party in at the same time as us, the entire waiting staff were all polite and attentive, with tables and cutlery tidy and clean. The food was really tasty, perfect portion sizes, served hot and with very little waiting time between courses. We enjoyed the buffet menu and so everyone tried a different dish with options of rice chips or naans and there was so much choice we tried everyone else's... I cannot rate this place highly enough and we will definitely be back 👍
