Lovely place for a breakfast or food large parking area just off the main road but can also be easily accesed from the whitchurch arm of the canal from the jubilee park in the tiwn its roughly 2.5 km with the start being along the sandstone trail and then turning right just after the basin and lift up bridge. The cafe has a wide choice of breakfast items as well as hot and cold drinks and full toilet facilities. Seating area are both inside and out with a ramped accessible entrance.

Perfect! Just what we needed on our long journey south from Chester via the A41. Only 1 minute off the A41 Whitchurch bypass and set in beautiful surroundings at Hadley Park. Speedy service, freshly cooked and substantial food, gluten-free options, and water for our dog - extremely good value for money! Thank you.

I like a breakfast sandwich on a Friday as my dinner break, today was no different. Found this beautiful cafe tucked away on a caravan site and decided to stop , I was not disappointed with the food or the location. Would definitely recommend for a relaxed atmosphere and lovely place to stop off. Carl

Nice friendly cafe with a campsite attached at the rear, reasonable prices for breakfast and a good portion size, campsite was also reasonable at £10 per night. Toilets and showers absolutely spotless, probably the nicest we have ever visited. Well done, 5 stars all round!

Probably the worst breakfast I've ever eaten. On arrival we were greeted by miserable staff and the owner (I assume) whose only comment was "you'll have to open the windows if you're sitting inside". I ordered a large breakfast with black pudding and a cup of tea. After sitting down I was told that I needed to come to the counter to collect my tea. Hot water, cold milk and a teabag tossed in for good measure. There's no way on earth that a good cup of tea will result from this practice, ever! The breakfast arrived twice, both times with hash brown instead of black pudding. We did our own swapping about and eventually ended up with something like what we had ordered. The egg yolk was runny, always a good sign in my book, until I realised that the white was also runny, very poor. The bacon looked as if it had been sat in the bain marie for far too long and was tough as old boots. The mushrooms were almost raw, surely a busy cafe should know how to cook mushrooms? Mind you, if you don't cook them the content of the plate seems greater, maybe that's why they arrived in that state? The toast was cold and smothered in cheap margarine, very unappetising. The sausage was reasonable in flavour if a little cold and although the baked beans tasted ok they too were lukewarm at best. We visited this place as part of a motorcycle club ride out. If anyone else is considering doing the same I would strongly advise you against it. I woke up today with the worst stomach ache I have endured. I have been very poorly all day and being that the food I ate at this cafe was the only food I ate all day I would strongly suspect that my condition was down to their lukewarm, poorly stored and undercooked produce. I have eaten far better at roadside greasy spoons. I expected a lot from this place, unfortunately, it failed to deliver in spectacular fashion. Very disappointed.

Nice little country pub. Friendly staff. Had Sunday Lunch and the food was very good. Amount of meat that came with the roast pork was more than expected and well cooked. A few things were forgotten with the meal which was disappointing but staff soon sorted. Will return to try on a week night. Update 9th June 24: have returned on a number of occasions now, on different days and different times, and each time the quality of food has been consistently good. Enough variety of meals that most people will find something they like. Update 20th November: still a very positive review. Food is consistently good quality and staff are all very friendly and helpful. Good value for money.

Have been coming here for over a year and their Panang curry is the best! Portion sizes are generous for price - we always have enough leftover for a good size meal the day following. Staff is friendly too

We've just returned from an over night stay. This is a lovely place to stay. Friendly. We paid for breakfast and it was very nice. Well presented. Only down side was we stayed in the Westgate room and it smelt of smoke. Someone had obviously been smoking out of the window. Definetly will return just in better weather. We stayed Sat 7th Dec with all those gales. Not a long walk into Town. But it was on that night due to the weather.

We had our works Christmas do here for 30+ people and we stayed the night. Front of house staff were lovely and welcoming, but that is all I can really say nice about our stay. Our room was like something out of the 70/80s very twee and old-fashioned. Quilt cover had a rip in it. Bath looked old, faint smell of cigarette smoke. No soap, shower gel etc in the bathroom - to help save the planet apparently - you could request some at reception. We were woken about 6am by what I assume was some kind of water cistern behind one of the bedroom walls that sounded like a plane going over head. The party. Arrival time was stated as 7pm and most (about 180) turned up about then. We were all crowded into the bar which wasn't big enough and soon warmed up to a very uncomfortable temperature. They eventually let us in at 8pm. Drinks were astronomically expensive - £7.50 for a pint £8.20 for a Baileys or a large glass of wine (£25+ by the bottle) and £7.20 for a pint of coke!!!. The main course wasn't served until after 9pm and my beef was dry and tasteless, though others who had the turkey said it wasn't bad. And my Xmas pudding was dry too. All in all not somewhere I would ever go again and certainly don't know where it gets it 4 star rating from. I did voice most of my complaints to reception before leaving.

Great service, incredible price, a vegetarian paradise!! When we arrived the kitchen was just closing but the chef asked us what we were wanting and then accommodated for us 2 fabulous meals. Would 100% recommend to anyone. Lovely decore and perfect music to go with it.
