Ordered 3 Sunday Roasts for Collection. Delicious lunches. Hot and well presented. Friendly and helpful staff. Generous portions. Very well packed. Empty plates. Would recommend to all and will certainly be calling again. A++++

I couldn't have expected a better service, the drinks where served timeously, bar member Marta was extremely friendly, its a pub that makes you feel like you're at home. I ordered some food, large portion size and really tasty. Will definatly return.

Nice central pub, we went on a Friday night as we were camping close by. Not many people in and we asked could we have some sport on the tv, which the young lady on the bar obliged us. Although it was karaoke night (no one singing but decent music) but a local decided to make derogatory comments about our choice of sport through song! It was hilarious

Very nice informal lunch. I had fish and chips but I’m sure they do excellent roasts too. Good pud, and I finished off with a coffee on a comfy sofa. Very pleasant staff, clearly popular locally.

We went here on Mothers Day, March 27th 2022 for a Sunday roast. It was two for £15.95 which was good value. The roast dinner was delicious and hot. Friendly staff and a good atmosphere. The only small downside was the table we were allocated to was a bit cramped, not much room for two people to sit side by side but other than that we had a good experience!

We were staying at the Hill Valley and my daughter arranged a surprise 50th for my partner. We arrived and were made welcome by everyone, locals included. The choice of real ale was very good and everyone else was happy with their drinks as well. The meals we had were excellent, in fact the chips were quite possibly the best chips we had all tasted (says a lot with teenagers in tow who just about live on them). Throughout the night the staff were brilliant and although very busy were totally attentive. This was a brilliant night and our only complaint was that we had arranged the taxi to pick us up too soon. If we were ever back in the area we wouldn't hesitate to go back. Thanks

My wife wanted to take ME out for a Xmas Meal for a change. So where better than my local Pub, we both had the 3 course Xmas Meal, a great choice of courses with excellent presentation & service.

The cock and greyhound is our favourite pub in Whitchurch we eat and drink in there on a regular basis.Rob and jeanie have done a great job running this pub all the staff are lovely.We went for our family Xmas meal today and it was absolutely amazing.Three courses for £20 and it was perfect,the tables were decorated lovely we had crackers and candles too it was such a amazing meal compliments to the chef.

Pleasing modernised bar with food. Staff very pleasant and helpful but our food was rather odd! Ordered two Scampi and Chips. The problem was that it wasn't Scampi! The offerings were cylindrical affairs and obviously not scampi ! They seemed to be filled with a sort of mushy tasteless offering but definitely not scampi! Heyho we were tired after a long arduous time in Liverpool and really didn't want a confrontation so left without mention. Possibly this is a supplier problem and not the fault of the pub - I imagine they will have Scampi next time!

Two of us have just had lunch from their Christmas menu. We both had turkey to start followed by Christmas pud and a creme brulee. All very tasty. The table was set beautifully - not what I'd expect in a pub. Super tasty food and attention to detail. Can highly recommend.

We had a really great lunch at this cracking pub. Great Adnams beer plus honest well prepared pub grub. Talk about value for money in inflationary times, very pleasant service and easy parking. Weirdly I worked in Audlem for years but never heard on the cock and greyhound so have tried to spread the word. Well done

Ideal location. Car park. Large garden patio. Indoor spacious also Great choice of drink and offers . We never ate on this occasion but saw plenty of people eating. Food looked lovely. Served all covid safe. Decor excellent. All covid safe Staff well mannered and professional. We also pop in while we are on hols in area. Thank you keep up good work Dog friendly also in and out. It’s not often you come across such friendly and efficient staff. Lovely meal and drinks and the sun was shining so very enjoyable, hubby enjoyed the football too !!

We stopped here after a walk with our little dog and had a pint and a coffee. Lovely pub with great service. The owner was very chatty and made us feel right at home, he even brought a bowl of water over for our thirsty dog.

Went last night as a family of three for a meal. Very warm welcome. Felt very safe in the current situation, (social distancing/cleaning and track&trace) were all in place . The food was delicious. Thanks for an enjoyable evening. Will be visiting again.
