Called in here on a Wednesday afternoon and it was quite busy considering the time of day (4pm) Ordered a latte and the chicken in tomato which was in the tapas menu. Coffee wasn’t how I like it it wasn’t very punchy but the chicken was great value nice sized portion and you got a garlic bread slice with it. Interesting menu with lots of variety for a cafe

We called in whilst passing through the town and enjoyed hot drinks and a snack. Nice variety of savoury and sweet items, but unfortunately the tortilla was not available. The pan con tomate was very authentic. Friendly service.

We came for a drink and a little snack mid afternoon. My young son ordered at the counter (pancake for him, coffee and tea cake for me). The owner asked me if my son wanted a drink (he hadn’t ordered himself one) and he very kindly gave him a can of pop and also brought him over a bowl of ice cream to have with his pancake! I’ve eaten lunch in here a couple of times and the food is tasty, reasonable price and the staff are nice too!

Excellent coffee. Excellent service. Very average / disappointing food. The panini needs to be toasted more so that the cheese actually melts. 🙄 Gorgeous coleslaw.

We just popped in late yesterday afternoon to kill some time. To our surprise we found a lovely little café in the old Barclays Bank Building, with very friendly & helpful staff. We had a delicious coffee, the best I have ever had, & shall certainly be making a return visit.

It is always a great pleasure to visit Joli when I am in Whitchurch. The team who work here are so welcoming and friendly. The drinks are nice and warming. I have the hot chocolate with whipped cream and probably one of the Best toasted teacakes ever. Steve the manager always has the time for everyone. Whitchurch is a small town in North Shropshire. It has bus services from Shrewsbury, Chester, and Wrexham. Check timetables. It is also served by trains on the Shrewsbury to Crewe local service. With certain longer distance trains on the Manchester Piccadilly to Cardiff Central service also calling. here. Whitchurch is also famous for its clocks. The railway station clocks Joyce were there is an example of in Liverpool Lime Street are made in Whitchurch.

I just wanted to come and leave an honest and sincere review about this place. Today I visited with a friend for my birthday and the staff and owner could not have been anymore hospitable if they tried. They made a big fuss of us and came out singing happy birthday, It was really lovely. I’d just to add the food was delicious also and I’d like to say to the owner thank you so much for your generosity. It went a really long way and I will be telling all of my friends and family what you did and recommending you. What credit to the town!

We got recommended this place from my friends dentist as we don't live in the area. What a lovely find, the decor, the background music, and the team were really friendly and welcoming. We ordered a nice mixture of the tapas dishes, which came in a timely manner, all served hot and all really tasty. After the tasty tapas, we had the crepes to share for something sweet 😋 This place is a must visit, and if in the area again, I'll definitely go back. Thank you for a lovely lunch.

I've visited this café almost every week, if not several times a week on work breaks to grab myself and a colleague some milkshakes. I also visit with family and friends because I thoroughly enjoy the food and drinks they have available. It's clean, the staff are friendly and always willing to go that extra mile. Today I visited on my day off with my 6 month old puppy who is a bit of a handful sometimes and was distracting me. I placed my order completely wrong but Millie and Marta immediately corrected it for me, were polite and laughing, making light of the situation, assuring me it was OK! I'm so grateful to your staff for this because little did they know - I'm actually autistic and was getting extremely overwhelmed, bordering on a meltdown. Even more... Millie went above and beyond by bringing my order to my workplace just down the street. Thank you so much for your care and understanding. I look forward to popping in again for those lovely milkshakes!

I live locally in Market Drayton and after popping over to Whitchurch me and my family decided to grab breakfast in town. My partner who works in Whitchurch suggested Joli and I was not disappointed. The cafe was busy upon arrival which is always a good sign. If the locals like it then it’s bound to be good. The breakfast was great I could not fault it. I tried a Spanish Bombon coffee which was lovely. My son had a refreshing strawberry smoothies and a plate of churros which he clearly enjoyed as he finished them both in quick time. I will absolutely be visiting again and would recommend this cafe to anyone in the Whitchurch area. Breakfast finishes at 1100hrs.

Been here quite a few times, not the best food but acceptable. Nice coffee. Visited yesterday, attitude of the owner when I noticed an item was missing from my order was dreadful, tried to make me look an idiot. If he had said ,sorry but I don't think you ordered the item and said I can easily add it and its so much that would have been fine, but to be shouted at at so that everyone can hear is totally unacceptable. Customer is always right, not in this cafe. Certainly won't be going again.

Called in for coffees and toasted sandwiches when visiting Whitchurch. Busy and friendly place. Looks like it is well used by the locals. Its an independent coffee establishment so it easy to avoid the global names on the high street.

I visited the cafe today with my family and first impressions were good. The cafe itself looks clean and inviting, nice a cosy on a rainy day like today. However, we were disappointed with our visit overall. The good bits… We ordered two strawberry refreshers which were delicious and a cappuccino and americano - both lovely. However, three out of four of our food orders were less than impressive. The bacon sandwich with a side of crisps was lovely - nice thick bacon but the cheese and ham panini came out with small clumps of cheese un melted so we asked for it to be melted more and the two chicken and cheese panini’s with sides of coleslaw came out with one less side of coleslaw (didn’t want to ask again after already sending the panini back) and the ingredients were rather sparse to say the least (photo included). For £42, we expected a little more in terms of quality. We also saw a woman with ‘Jo’ on her work t-shirt come out of the kitchen putting food in her mouth, go into the toilet area and then back in the kitchen where she proceeded to eat in view of us she was stood just inside the door way. Don’t get me wrong, I have no issue with staff eating but maybe not in the kitchen where customers can see (how do we know she’s washing her hands before preparing our food?). There are other local cafes which offer better value and fuller sandwiches.

Nice clean place. Nice decor. I like the detail with the lights made from teapots and mugs. I gather from other reviews that it's recently opened. I went hoping to find some Spanish atmosphere but I didn't really feel it or find it. I went as a Spaniard and was a bit let down. I think its trying to be all things to all people. Nobody sets out to serve bad food and I'm certain that it's all cooked with love and devotion. The place was busy when I was there and most people were eating so that speaks volumes. However the churros are not homemade. That was a bit disappointing. I make them myself at home as do the Spanish friends I have here. It's not that difficult. Flour and water some oil and sugar, served with thick hot chocolate . Less expensive too! Anyway, all that said it was a pleasant experience. I wouldn't hurry back, rather I'll leave it a while and see how this place develops. Perhaps it will become more Spanish, or take the word Spanish off the name of the coffee shop. My verdict, could be more Spanish I'm sure Whitchurch can cope with that. Good luck and I wish this coffee shop all the best.

Took my mum, and my 20month son for a relaxed bite, the bubble waffle was absolutely beautiful! My son had a strawberry smoothie and it was so good he would not share! (Managed a little sip and i can understand why he wouldn’t share) had no bits which made it extra nice! Mum tried a herbal tea and she throughly enjoyed it! Myself had the strawberry lemonade- not pop! The traditional lemonade which brought back memories! Overal was really lovely! Would 100% go back or would even just pop by for a smoothie to go! Staff were really lovely! ALSO! Disable access! So made with the pram so much easier! Great atmosphere!

Nice food that is well priced - We purchased two toasties and two coffees. Well filled toasties and tasty. (Constructive criticism - Bacon could have been cooked a little longer however it was still very tasty and that comes down to personal choice). Lovely atmosphere, nicely decorated, with welcoming and attentive staff. Large selection of food with lots of variety. Gentleman, who was seemingly the manager, is very pleasant and treated customers personally and with a cheery smile. We will be back!!

Honestly the best pub meal I've had in years! The steak and Guinness pie was delicious and chips better than many chippies. How they do that with bargain prices baffles me. Highly recommend

Went for the first secret diner club evening that is run by Jess who owns the fab 'not today seitan' in liar liar..what can i say?.the food was on another level. Litrally the best vegan food in Oswestry and way surpasses anything else available in a vegan cafe in Oswestry. The food was beautifully presented, the flavours were amazing and the cocktails were beautiful too. Really hope the owner decides to run these evenings on a regular basis although once word gets around i imagine getting a table will be really difficult. Its great to see a vibrant young business do so well and honestly the co trading with Liar liar is such a brilliant idea. Two amazing businesses running side by side. I cannot recommend this highly enough, the best vegan resturant/cafe in town by far
