The best restaurants in Market Drayton East Shropshire West Midlands

We came for the 12 wines of Christmas on Saturday and had a great time! Rachel who ran the event was knowledgeable and friendly plus the drinks were obviously great! If it hadn’t cost us as much as the event in taxi fees we would be there regularly! Can’t wait to visit the pub in Audlem next given it’s much closer!

Cute little winery hidden away next to the canal. Food and drink excellent, although did take a while for food, but was 100% worth it and enjoyed by all. Would definitely recommend and visit again. Easily could spend an afternoon!

Large chicken kebab was first class

We held our Christmas do at The Townhouse, the menu was amazing, we had exclusive use of the cocktail bar and restaurant as we had over 30 people attending. The upstairs bar was a perfect start to the evening serving a good range of beers. wines and cocktails, the food was fabulous, the staff were brilliant providing excellent service, the evening was a great success.

Very disappointed. I am unable to drink tea or coffee and usually drink Red Bush tea but the member of staff just said she'd never heard of it. So had to have hot chocolate which was too sweet and left an unpleasant aftertaste It's difficult not being able to drink tea or coffee and places like this put me off even attempting to socialise

Went with friends for catch up mid week, food was delicious, my steak was perfect, staff pleasant and polite. Not a busy evening. Sat by log burner in main room as it was very chilly evening.

We've been a few times now,it was recommended to us so we thought we'd give it a try. We absolutely cannot fault the lovely staff that work there,they are always happy to get anything you ask for. It's no trouble whatsoever. The food is always 100% amazing..well done to the chefs. Its a dog friendly place aswell (in certain areas). There's a lovely atmosphere where you just feel comfortable and relaxed. We couldn't recommend this lovely village pub/restaurant enough. You'd be missing out if you didn't give it a try. Excellent job to all who work there.

Visited the property as a of 9 on a very late booking taken as the proprietor new some of the party.They gave us the table as long as we would vacate by 20 00hrs.4 of the party chose a banquet whilst the others a starter and a main.The food as such was plentiful and tasty and washed down with a couple of drinks. We were all of the opinion that the Satay Chicken starter was the star of the show,but to be fair the rest(10 different dishes)were very close. This restaurant is highly recommended by all of us and if you are looking for a Chinese restaurant in the Market Drayton area this will fit the bill

Came to try the Chippy Friday. Great value for £10. The steak and guiness pie was packed full of meat, very tender. Lovely home made chips.

Called in on the off chance they could feed us for Sunday Lunch. No tables in restaurant but sat us straight away in the bar .. we saw other couples arrive without reservation and they were given the same nothing is too much trouble friendly service. I have to say one of the best Sunday roasts I’ve eaten.. everything cooked with care and just delicious Thank you

How can freshly cooked food arrive at your table 5 minutes after your order has been taken? The food was ok but not as good as it used to be! Sorry but no longer for us

Just had a Saturday treat night takeaway, arrived to a lovely clean tidy restaurant welcomed by really friendly staff, our meal was ready within 10 minutes of arriving having been given a time of collection, honestly can’t fault the service, got home and the meal was amazing, we honestly can’t fault a single thing, it was wrapped to keep it warm and there was plenty of food and value for money, 10 out of 10 I would definitely recommend this restaurant for either eat in or a cheeky take away, well done guys and thank you very much
