The best restaurants in Market Drayton East Shropshire West Midlands

Stopped off in Market Drayton on way back to Chester. Came across this superb pub. Great ale, great customers and landord and great building. Not to many places like this around any more. Already planning a trip over one Saturday so I can stay for more than the one.

The best kebab shop in the area.

Coffee was nice. Staff and service was polite and efficient. Room seemed cold and lacking atmosphere. Returned and much improved.

Second time ordering from Bamboo Garden and again the food was delivered quickly and was absolutely delicious. We won't be ordering from anywhere else from now on

Ordered 2 decaffeinated coffees. They hadn't any decaffeinated. Ordered 2 flat whites Eventually served 2 ordinary coffees. They were so strong you could have stripped paint with them. Charged £6 . We won't be visiting again

Very disappointed with the quality of the food served tonight. We ordered food fairly early in the evening. When we opened the food the chips were clearly old … probably reheated from lunchtime service… all shrivelled and dry. Also ordered a large portion for a family of 5 to share. I have had larger small portions in other places. Perhaps with a lock of local competition standards seemed to have dropped?!

We’ve been using Mings as our go to Chinese Takeaway for years now. We have our favourite dishes and we generally stick to these. We’ve never been let down and enjoy what we choose. We’ve looked at some of the negative reviews and being honest we don’t recognise the same place. We always give credit where it’s due. Mings is our favourite take away and as long as it stays the same it will always be so.

My first taste of a Shropshire Chinese takeaway away ,handy because it is 25 metres from my front door!

Lovely Sunday lunch today, pork, turkey, red cabbage delicious, hot plates, and amazing smiling staff, will certainly be calling here more often now.

it's just what you expect cheap and cheerful

Visited for a wonderful pre holiday Sunday lunch with a great friend. It was absolutely marvelous from start to finish. Great service and environment. Beautiful log fire burning adding to the character and charm of the Red Lion. The drinks and food was amazing. The portion size was excellent. Recommend a visit and we will definitely return.

Came to the coopers arms for the fish and the batter was proper crispy and tasted amazing. Hopefully there will be more on the menu when we next visit though 😄

Has really gone down hill twice I’ve been there recently and they forget to bring some of the order out when u ask they don’t bother sorting it will be going elsewhere from now on

Jacob johnston is the only good thing about this place. I also really really really dont like pepperoni passion.......
