Had the fish & chips and it was very nice.

Lovely food. Had fish and chips and saveloy and chips sitting in. Really nice and clean seating area. The staff were kind and helpful.

I very ralely go to chippy. But i went got a large chips and 2 large curry sauce . Was over ten pounds.! Most chips had an eye or black spot on it.also sloppy Large curry sauce at £1.20 was very small. I bought two....tasted not very nice either. Also i had to wait for chips about 5 to 10 min .So whether I am too picky , or I went on a bad day I don't know but I don't think I would go there again at the price verses quality ..

My wife and I went to Cookie's for lunch today for the first time since we moved to the town 4 years ago. The whole expérience was terrific. The restaurant is very clean and fresh, the staff friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. We had cod, chips and mushy peas. The chips were golden and cooked to perfection, the cod was white, succulent and cooked in a light and crispy batter - not a hint of grease or sogginess. The last bite was every bit as good as the first. A very enjoyable expérience. Try it - you'll like it!

My go to chippy, since the one across the street shut down due to covid, I would come here sometimes after school back then or come here after college now and would take it home to eat, the fish is top tier and the chips are nice, service is quick too.

Food is always lovely and hot and not greasy either, which sometimes you can get from a poor chip shop. Staff are always welcoming and good to have a laugh with!

Went today with my Dad, staff were lovely and helpful, place was really clean and the "small" (i think they called it mini but not sure) fish and chips were delicious!! I have to say if this was the small size, the size up would be massive! Really lovely piece of fish! It was a good cup of tea as well! Will definitely be going back!!

Food is ok but they are literally putting their prices up by the week because their competitors have closed down. Paid 3 pounds for a small bag of chips and to be honest it's pathetic. It's like a cone of chips for 3 quid. They'll do themselves out of business if they carry on. They don't print menus anymore as I think the pricing is done by the spin of a wheel...shame

I love this chippy. Amazingly large portions and the chips are very tasty, not too greasy but just right. The prices are very reasonable and are open most days.

My battered sausage had hardly any batter on it, nobody could tell me if the veg burger was an imitation meat burger or a proper veg burger, I was told they just order egg burgers but then I was told neither are suitable for vegetarians because they are cooked in the same oil as raw sausages, great attitude really, what ever happened to a grill, or frying pan.

Was nice a bit slow food came at diffrent speeds to each of us and pizza dose not get served until evening such a shame

Ordered a large portion of chips and got a small, rang up and got a replacement portion of high quality chips. Well done cookies 👍

Mixed Kebab tasted ok but very small for £7.50

It’s okay if you like getting anything other than what you ordered while 5 or more people behind the til stare at you as you wait. Eating in will yield the same result.

Don't be fooled by the prices on the menus on Google. Apparently these aren't their menus!! Even though you can order everything that's on there!! They make the prices up as they go along! First of all get told one price, then get a call back to say no its this price then when the driver arrives no its another price. Avoid getting scammed by these people.

Lovely staff who are quick and friendly when serving. Really good, competitive prices and it's always nice and busy- clearly good food! When we got ours, it was hot and the chips were fresh and crispy. Amazing!!!

I ordered fish n peas. It was very good. Crunchy batter at the ends of the fish & it was cod! Check out the pics. Hardly any of that horrible gooey white spongy stuff underneath the batter that you get at most chippies. Would I recommend &/or go again? Based on my experience, Absolutely...

What can I say. We've just moved to the area and are very fortunate to have found this place. The fish and chips are really tasty - the chips are not too greasy and not too dry and not full of little bits that you can't eat. Unlike some fish and chip shops, the fish actually has flavour and the batter is done just right - not too crispy, not too soggy. We also had a mixed kebab on our second visit which was a great size and full of flavour. The staff are polite, everything is clean and the prices are reasonable. You can also dine-in! Nothing more that I could really ask for.

My wife and I were in Market Drayton and thought we would try Cookies. I am glad we did. The Fish (Cod) Chips mushy peas and gravy were all excellent. If your in Market Drayton why not give Cookies a try.

Used this chippie for the past 3 years, but haven't visited for a couple of months. Purchased the usual order of a large cod and chips (wife and I usually share it)....such disappointment! The price increase from £7.20 to £9.80 was a bit of a shock, but the servings now come in a polystyrene tray resulting in drastically reduced portion sizes too. The fish was far smaller than previously with a meagre serving of chips that wouldn't even constitute a standard size. If I hadn't already driven home, I'd have returned and requested my money back. Sorry Cookie's, you've had my business for the past 3 years, but I won't be back.

Very friendly staff food is very nice .always buy our fresh kebabs and chips etc from there .Will definitely recommend.

Food was freshly cooked and the restaurant was both clean and functional.

Not happy today they gave someone else my order and had to wait 10-15 minutes extra. Then to go home have a very small large fish and chips and a wrong pie. Not pleased at all.

I go here every now and then and the chips are always reheated/burnt and greasy. Sometimes they will put your meal in a tray which gives you half the chips you get when they wrap it in paper. Chips are always stuck together and so greasy they rip when trying to separate one from another. Everything is overpriced, the only good thing here is that you get your food quite quickly.

Ive just ordered mealdeal 4(two pizzas,onion rings large chips and a 1.5l of pepsi) and a sausage and chips for my 3 Yr old,it came to £23.When I rang I asked for thin bases on my pizzas,(which ive had the last 3-4times I've ordered from them)i was sharply told 'we only do one base'.Although i'd expect better customer service from the nonse wing cafeteria in Winson green,I wouldn't just say the pizza was burnt and cold just to be bitter,nor would I say the chips had more black bits than a mandingo party...but they did.The food b4 2nite was acceptable but I shall not be using them again,pls enjoy the photos lol.

We called in on Saturday afternoon for a dine in meal during a very busy day as it was the Christmas light switch on. We were told that they were quite busy but could serve us in boxes instead of plates but would only charge takeaway prices. We had to wait a while because they were so busy but it was worth the wait as extra staff turned up and the meals came on plates. All 4 of us agreed it was one of the best fish and chips we have had for a long time, and the service was first class. We will be back, that is for sure.

the food is over priced and discussing the chips were full of nasty old grease I got food poisoning!! Anyway I went there few months back and i complained about it when I took the food back the staff were rude and threw the money back at me and told me never to come back again , I advice people please don't eat there 🤢

Fish and chips shop with an extensive menu. Standard food can be purchased here without any extras. Meal deals and special offers for takeout are given. Not the best fish and chips, that's available, however far from the worst and fast service with the food being hot. The place is tidy and pleasant to sit in.

Nice food and friendly staff, always visit with my mum when we are in Market Drayton. (Always have Roe and chips yum!)

nasty . had fish and chips in cafe. ewww soggy batter and soggy grey fish. im a chef and even im not sure what fish it was. possibly hake ? god knows but couldnt eat it.
