The Bell - Shifnal in Shropshire

Food at the bell is lovely, staff are all very friendly and the halloumi & red pepper kebab is incredible. Definitely recommend.

Excellent meal, great service. Where the food in many curry houses tastes the same whichever dish you have the dishes at The Bell are uniquely spiced and flavoured. The mark of a real chef. Highly recommend.

A very pleasant hotel and a good atmosphere. The Indian restaurant is excellent. It's a shame that the room has some small defects (1 towel for 2 adults, blocked shower). The staff is very helpful!

Horrible place to stay. Hair clumps on the floor, thick dust on the skirting, stains on the floor. Beds were old and springy, and mine had food behind the mattress. Bedding was clean but that’s about the only reasonable thing. We were here for one night for a wedding so luckily only needed to sleep then leave!

Our 3rd visit for Nepalese food and it was incredible again. Just lovely service from a lovely young lady. Would highly recommend a visit.

That was my first time with indian food. Something amazing :) Very helpful staff

Excellent Indian / Nepalese food - a little on the expensive side. Never had a bad meal eat in. For takeaway, I dont believe the portion sizes are the same as eat in - you get less, which is a shame, as they even charge the same price as eat-in. If you have a mixed grill takeaway A) you dont get the fried/grilled onions and B) they put all the meats in the same bag, including the fish pakora's whch become very soggy.

Love the curry here! The chicken clay pot is divine, really enjoy going for a good curry. Staff always friendly and extra portions available at short notice.

Very tasty food served with a smile

Went for a meal to celebrate my Dads birthday. Booked in advance, pleased I did as place was busy so would advise doing this. Did not stay in the rooms so cannot comment on this. We all had a starter and a main and 2-3 drinks each, bill was £30 a head which is ok. The staff were friendly and hardworking. The food was amazing, whilst we had a bit of a wait for the starter, I would imagine this was because its freshly cooked , it was definitely worth the wait, we all thoroughly enjoyed our food and we were all full at the end. Cannot remember if I have had a better curry it was certainly one of the best meals I have had! next time I go I will ask what drinks best complements my meal to really enjoy the experience so hope the team are up for the task. It was my first time visiting but will not be the last. A good touch was the photos of Nepal which I quite liked
