The best restaurants in Central Herefordshire, County of West Midlands

This small restaurant punches above its weight. An extensive menu is always a risk but we found d that all the dishes we chose were well prepared, well presented, and tasted great. The portions are generous and presented in a matching style. There's a good spread of wine available. At first sight the restaurant feels a bit quirky - it is! But the food is excellent.

Excellent food with a great variety of dishes

Due to our regular Friday night chippy being closed we ventured into Hereford to Oceans. We weren't disappointed either. The cod and chips were delicious and piping hot. My wife and daughter had half a chicken and chips each which again they said was delicious. We'll definitely be visiting again.

Staff are lovely, food average,lots of little extras ,all for free. Hot towels,orange slices, viennetta dessert, plate of sweets- jelly babies,bonbons , chocolates and glasses of Baileys if you wanted it. Lots of loud birthday celebrations but rather noisy if you wanted to be able to talk to other people on your table. Prices good.

Love Miro's great coffee and the best breakfast/brunch menu. Been here a few times now, sometimes service can be a little slow but that's normally because they are so busy with lot's of customers. Food is always excellent with lot's of choice and delicious cake selection.

Tiny portions and bland atmosphere

Writing this review whilst still awaiting my order placed at 1830, meant to be here by 2000, over an hour late, still not here, called the restaurant several times, telling me constantly "order is literally on its way, tell us next time I'll give you a freebie", well mate if you know you're delivering extremely late place a freebie now. Horrible experience, starving family. Would have cooked at home

Just as delicious and top quality as ever. The vegan katsu sweet potato burger was delightful. Fast, friendly service.

My wife and I found La Madeleine whilst having a wander around Herford. The place is an unassuming bistro on Church Street that served a very pleasant lunch, we went for the homemade quiche that came with salad and herbie potatoes, which proved to be very tasty. The service was polite, efficient and friendly. The establishment has a wonderful courtyard garden. All in all a great place to eat when visiting Hereford.

Nice choice of food available at lunchtime. Although we only visited for a coffee/tea and cake. They had oat milk available and a lovely vegan date flapjack, portion size was good.

Food was sensational. The best Thai food I have ever had, I've never tasted anything like it! My first time here and certainly won't be the last. Hosts were incredibly friendly and flexible. I've now cancelled our previous valentines day booking to come here instead. Thank you!

Found Rocket down little Hereford back street. Went in and found a seat. Ordered two Goats Cheese, pesto and cranberry flat bread wraps. My wife went to the toilet - not good - clearly hardly ever cleaned - dirty, dusty, toilet seat broken !! If we had gone in there before ordering we would not have eaten there…..always tell a place by its toilets. Throughout our time eating there was, on a table right near us, a young boy (clearly related to one of the staff) he was eating a McDonalds and for the whole 30 minutes was watching videos on a phone at high volume !! Others came in and were clearly bothered by it. Shame - the food was pretty good. Staff not friendly.
