Very nice mixed grill , butter chicken and jalfrezi sauces very tasty , massala chips also nice. Friendly and pleasant staff. Will come back

Only visit at lunchtime. Mostly older people gathering for a quiet drink, doing crosswords and following the horse racing.

My friends and I went to the Red Lion for food and karaoke. We had a fantastic night. Food was delicious. Staff were friendly. Karaoke was brilliant and so was the atmosphere. We shall definitely be returning

I had to tell the lady my order about 5 times for her to still get it wrong. I waited on Burger that was in the order that she never got right. Other food was cold when we got home

Such an excellent food in the town...very juicy chicken and kabab....eat for less!!!

Having just paid over £75 for 2 adults and 3 childrens carveries, and some soft drinks, when my 8 year old son went back up for a little more mash he was told no!!! I get one portion of meat ( which wasn't a lot compared to other carveries) but since when can't you have a bit more veg or potato when you can have as much as you can fit on your plate anyway?? Talk about tight.. won't be visiting again.

Couldn't taste the food,the Curry sauce was way way to hot and a odd colour...ruined the food..back to Gornal dynasty worst Chinese I've had for a long time

The chips was partly solid inside. Chicken was chewy & the skins not crispy... it was not the usual juicy, crispy skin & seasoning on the chicken. The fishy tasted bland, deffo not like the ones we had before!
