Great place for good home cooked food, great steaks and quality drink.

We love it here , relaxed atmosphere, lovely staff and the sun dinner is to die for .

Only a quick pint in here, but all seems as it should be 👍

Went on a night for drinks amd dance good night

the music is very repetitive, the bouncers are always rude and honestly it's a very heteronormative environment. if it wasn't the only place open till so late there would be nobody here past 11pm. In one word: boring. I will shout out how friendly the floor/bar staff are.

Excellent service and good food. It has a lovely atmosphere and tastefully decorated inside, I'll definitely be visiting again.

Brilliant venue for a night out, doesn't get lively till around 21:30-22:00 but when it gets lively it gets lively... good selection of bassline music and high energy atmosphere, plenty of people always on the dancefloor. Dont let the rough reputation of the place put you off, well worth a go.

Was quiet on the night, perhaps due to the Queen dying or trade trying the newly reopened Red Lion

This place is insane with the disco going on you party here your partying hard. Drinks were good and cheap and they had a slushie machine. You won't get any trouble here as they have security that screen people as they come in. But I have heard the are people trading less legally acquired goods

Alright as somewhere local to have a few when the pubs close.

My son in law has cancer. He went to Montys last Saturday evening (17th Feb) and was refused admission on the basis he was wearing a cap. Of course, he was, he has cancer and has significant hair loss!. The bouncer called the manager who still refused entry unless he took his cap off. The manager had no empathy. . The bouncer apologised but had been overruled. My son in law was with his friends on his first "lads" night out since being discharged from hospital. He felt awkward all evening. Would the management have told a woman with cancer to remove her hat or scarf I think not. This is discriminatory practice. So the moto is if you have a significant illness, injury or disability DON'T go to Montys Wine Bar and if you dont, think twice about supporting an establishment with poor practices and values. Needless to say, we will be taking this further.

One of the most grim nights out I have ever had.

Sticky carpets, rushed food.. Mediocre at best

Food is always really good never had a bad breakfast, we always choose here over the spoons next door and you should to. Only reason I didn't rate 5 was the decor is a bit dated and the padding on some of the chairs could do with replacing but like I said food is great, and a really good price.

For the younger generation..music ..drinks reasonable it's prone to trouble though

Place is basically run by hells angels, avoid, if i could give it 0 stars i would.
