Foley Arms in Dudley

We have always loved the foley arms, but we visited for a Sunday roast and it was disappointing.. it came out within 5 minutes, could tell the items had been standing all day/re heated as it was all so dry, the 2 potatoes we had were inedible, the beef dry as a bone and lack of anything else. Just a tablespoon of greens. We always recommend this place which is a shame

Excellent service the team couldn’t do enough for us - always welcoming and family friendly 😊 Victoria is a super star and really helped us navigate the app and we will always be back on a weekly basis 😊 and John is the best Barman!

Had ultimate burger a week ago and was fantastic. This evening the burger had been reheated in microwave with salad on it. Complained who said he would speak to chef and blatantly ignored us. I had to speak to manager who also appeared not bothered . Overall disappointing. No one seems to care. Shame as generally be ok as been average and decent for a while.

Generally poor all round unfortunately. The beer on draft isn’t looked after (Camden Hells) tasted like lines needed cleaning to the point I didn’t drink it. Food was poor. Brown avocado was served up. I would question the chef would you eat that? The grains in the grain salad consisted of a tea spoon with a huge bowl of lettuce so was very hungry afterwards. The toilets were an absolute mess, reminiscent of an old Andrex advert with loo roll everywhere, despite the signs saying they are checked regularly. The staff were friendly enough though so hence the 2stars.

Visited Sunday with my partner and two children, considering it was a Sunday, the restaurant was quite quiet and we didn’t need to pre-book. Service was great food didn’t take long to come out, I was impressed. I went for the beef rib roast dinner, would highly recommend. Will return 👍🏻

Great service all over. Even better to know that with Sunday roast the meal is not automatically swamped in gravy but gravy is served in a Jug. IMPROVEMENT POINT none of the Ember Inns never have GF buns so diners can NEVER order a burger - just about the most popular item for youngsters. FYI Greene King pubs stock FROZEN buns so only have to defrost on demand. SIMPLES!!

Ordered 2 coffees with someone who appeared to be in management . Not busy . 10 minutes later no coffees member of staff had disappeared . Thought she may if asked colleague to do them 20 min had passed had to ask at bar for them again server knew nothing apologised and did them straight away and brought them over could teach the higher member of staff a thing or too it appears

Great place to eat with a warm welcome. Reasonably priced menu. We were seated quite quickly and our food order taken soon after. Our food came out hot and we all enjoyed what we’d ordered.

Staff professional and friendly warm welcoming lovely food its becoming one of our favorite places to have a meal 5 years ago had our engagement party there nice place for all occasions .

Two of us went recently for Sunday lunch; it was our first visit. Staff were friendly and helpful and mushroom starter was lovely but we were not so happy with the roast rib of beef with yorkshire pudding. It was tasty enough but there were very few vegetables - three roast potatoes, no mash, tiny bit of cabbage and a few diced parsnips. All in all, not good value for money so will not revisit.

Lovely pub. Nice atmosphere inside and outside. Staff very friendly, lush meals for lunch and good price. Very clean especially the ladies toilet. Plenty of parking

Went for lunch on our anniversary, Jazz served us very pleasant and helpful. Very professional to say she has not been long in bar service. Well done Colin and Pauline

Lovely afternoon lunch. Served by Johnny who was a star - especially the dancing! Excellent food as usual. It was a hot afternoon but the pub was cool and welcoming. Staff were attentive and food was delivered quickly. All tables had been cleaned and the pub was clean and tidy.

Lovely evening, staff are friendly and efficient, shoutout to Beth as she's always got a big smile and nothing is too much trouble. Food was delicious.

Pudding (chocolate fudge cake with custard) was a bit bland but main course (barbeque chicken) was excellent.

Plenty of seating but can get busy. Lots of food choice. Decor could do with upgrade but standard for a large chain.

I went on a Sunday and had the gammon Sunday lunch from the menu. The staff were very helpful, especially with my food allergies, but the food itself was not very good. The gammon was very fatty and the vegetables were hard in places. Others at my table had things not from the Sunday lunch menu which they described as being really good, especially the fish and chips. I wish, on reflection, that I had ordered this too.

Lunch time visit. Food good value and quality. The staff are friendly and helpful. Do remember to register your car registration to avoid a fine. Now doing fries, happy days. Been again, cottage pie tasty and good value.

Absolutely dreadful! Ordered veggie option lasagne arrived like collapsed chapati, no sauce whatsoever very little taste, admittedly they were busy with election voters but to send that out of the kitchen inedible? I think Witherspoon s is a better option certainly needless to say I'll not be back.

Had a fantastic Sunday lunch with my family. The food was incredible and the team there we so friendly, helpful and gave "the best" service. Highly recommend.

Had Sunday lunch not really good. My pudding was cold, and I had to take back

First visit, food arrived promptly staff polite, good value for money. However needs a good makeover, very grubby, table reserved for us was dirty, had to ask for it to be cleaned even though a staff member must have seen the state of it when the reserved notice was placed on it.

Good to find a pub open on a Monday let alone decent food all day. We'll done the Foley Ams!!

Food was typical pub grub but not very exciting. Service was poor. You order at the bar and have to say there and then if you want a dessert, and staff then bring it to the table. The waiting staff not friendly, very blunt when putting meal on the table and then we did not see them again.

Amazingly delicious food, great service by staff and lovely atmosphere inside and outside. Well done team, keep up the great work!

We popped in off the cuff and literally had 15 mins to order before the kitchen closed. I did not feel rushed though. We chose steak and it was cooked to perfection and definitely did not feel like we were the last meal of the day. Great customer service and will pop back again.

Had a cheeky pint after a nice walk.

Great friendly pub with excellent service especially Vicky. A warm friendly welcome always from all the staff however. Food excellent value for money and great choice of drinks including wines.

Friendly staff good food, nice environment

Our reserved seats were taken by someone else so we had to select an alternative. We were also offered on your app a free drink but surely if, as usual, couples go for a drink, the offer should be for 2 free drinks not just one.

Beem here a few times now however last night was dissapointing. The steak was ordered medium and came rare. I ordered the chicken burger and onion rings. Onion rings were cold, the salad on the burger was discoloured and wrinkled and the chips were hard. The burger sauce had a skin on top like it had been sat out. Staff werent as helpful as usual.

The Foley Arm's is a great meeting place and the food is always good at a reasonable price

Don't try the Foley if you are Coeliac - we got offered a jacket potatoe and salad so left.

Went to on Friday 29th March, where do I start, well I won’t be going back. No steak on a Friday night. Ended up having chicken which wasn’t the best, very dry and overdone chips. Went up to order sweets then told kitchen had closed. When I paid the bill wasn’t asked if we had enjoyed the meal. Very disappointed.

Poor selection of non-alcoholic drinks. We went for lunch & they had no salad at all, despite 4 or 5 listed on the menu.

The exceptional service I received from Victoria can't be put into words , I couldn't recommend a place Anymore. We use this place all the time

Absolutely loved this place can't wait to go back. Food was beautiful. Pubs really nice. I love the sign on the way in... remember were a family pub please keep foul language to a minimum. Which is so reassuring espically for families like myself with young children.

Of 5 meals only the chicken wings were fine. Steaks were over cooked so not as ordered. Chips were so over cooked they were not pleasant ,even fried eggs had very hard yokes Shame it was a birthday meal for my wife who is recovering from major surgery

Had lunch and it was great with a decent service mor me as a coeliac. My desired food was allergen checked on their tablet and specific details checked when placing the order.

Good food at slightly expensive prices, especially the puddings as they aren't the biggest portions we've ever seen. The posh fish and chips was lovely though, as was the half chicken and chips. Beware that the car park is leased out to a cowboy parking company, so you have to input your reg on entry to avoid invoices in the post, threatening all sorts of dire consequences. 😉

Very busy evening. We waited over half an hour for the food. My meal was luke warm.The plate was cold. No one came to check whether the food was ok.

Table service would have helped having to run to the bar when needing a drink whilst food is on table going cold as the bar is packed wasn't great but probably could have timed it better

Hadn’t been to the Foley for a while and was not disappointed when I called in for lunch with friends recently. Food was served promptly, well presented and piping hot. All agreed the food was excellent. Vicky, our waitress, was very friendly and at the same time professional and looked after us very well. Must not leave it so long before our next visit.

Staff really friendly and when I visited the atmosphere was really good. Food was also served really quickly even though the place was packed out. Steak came out medium rare even though requested well done, food overall was ok, like average fare pub food.

Steaknsent back twice, medium well done. The meat was dripping with blood, vampires breakfast if you like it like that. Chips were soaked in blood. Not good. Have a regular pub meal steak is shocking.

Always a good atmosphere in the Foley, friendly family crowd and excellent staff - especially Olly and Beth who are the best! We didn’t eat today but the food is good and it’s very popular so worth booking. We’re so glad this is our local.

We used to come last year but found some of the food was disappointing, but return since and I can say we have not been disappointed, there seem to have been an improvement.

Great roast dinner here yesterday. Food was served piping hot, meat lovely. We all enjoyed it. Friendly staff, will definitely return.

Disappointed with Sunday lunch. The child's meal portion(beef ) costing £5:49 was the same size portion as the beef £14 meal.Disappointing portions. 3 very small roast potatoes and a few carrots. I made a complaint and was given a few extra vegetables but no potatoes. No apology. Won't be revisiting.

Great pub but starting to downhill with the amount of young kids running around. It's like a primary school playground

First time coming here and will definitely be back. As soon as we walked up to the bar there was two barstaff waiting to serve. Olli was lovely and chatty and explained the process of finding a table and ordering food. Food was served quickly and was lovely. Can't fault a thing. Well done
