Blue Ocean Fish and Chip Shop in Dudley

People rave on about this chippy but I think the Food is too greasy ! Which ain’t good at all ! The batter on the fish is just sickening. When you cut into it loads grease pours out which ain’t advertising ! Literally ill after eating ! Hate giving bad reviews but they definitely need to change the way they do their fish and chips !

My order was £15 and I gave the money the cashier and I gave them £30 and they didn't give me the £15 back. This also happed last week as well they spent 30 minutes to give me £5 back. I do not recommend if you want to keep your money.

The fish was undercooked, chips were extremely greasy, and the curry sauce was watery with little to no flavor.

Rather good fish and chip shop all in all. The que was out the door but the staff were still very quick with a friendly service. Food was cooked fresh and with great quality would recommend this place

Since moving to the area I have only used this chipshop and it's usually very good. Lately the chips have been cold before I get home and I live 20 seconds away. This has happened 5 or 6 times. I also don't like the extra £20p charge for having peas or curry/gravy in a separate container when the peas were just liquid and I counted 5 actually peas. I'll try again but if same will go drive to my old chipshop.

If you like batter that is soft, doughy and chewy, this is the place for you. It's Scoff's for me every time. The chips were just about average.

Recently moved into the area and I can honestly say that this is one of the best Fish and Chips shop we have ever used. Always fresh quality fish and tasty chips. Staff always friendly towards customers and a very clean shop. Keep up the good work.

Food is below average however, the fact zero staff neither wore or even had masks is the reasoning behind my review. Despite handling cash and food amidst country-wide lockdown. Felt unsafe.

Fish and chips were very good but experience spoiled by hoardes of dormston pupils cramming into the shop ignoring the "maximum 2 people" and "2mtr distance " signs

It was my 3rd visit, the staff were Courteous / knowledgeable /Friendly / Helpful. I have had Fish and Chips twice, however tonight 12 Sept 2020 I had an all in Kebab, all the meats, all the sauces, chips, salad.........Well done

Fish and chips went in the garbage as wasn't very nice, even my dog was sick from eating the batter, will never go there again, a proper waste of money

Whoever heard of a fish and chip shop that is not selling fish? If they can not meet customers needs they should close up shop.

In this case it does! Second time in two months to have the most horrendous medium sized fish. Really is shocking and surprising as other things on the menu are good. Will not be using this place again for sure.

Nice quiet friendly chippy, just across from the Beacon Hotel. Food was lovely especially the chips & curry sauce. Will happily come back here again.
