The staff are lovely and welcoming, always have a smile. The food was really nice. The fish and chips are the best we've had for a long time.

Always have good food here for a good price. Tried the lunch menu today (Hunter's Chicken baguette and chips) which was really nice.

First time in a pub for over a year and I won’t be back at one for a while after this one. Visited on a quiet Wednesday night and the two things I wanted weren’t available, bar staff had no idea of the issue and when my replacement meal came (a medium rare steak) it was very obviously well done. Chewy, tasteless leather. No check back for me to tell someone about how bad it was, no one came to clear our plates until we’d moved into the bar area. One toilet door doesn’t even close properly! Not happy at all

Awful experience, thought we would try and support local business and wish we'd stayed home and had a sandwich. My chicken was exceptable if not a little charred and a little... little. My wife had cod which turned out to be charred batter and a few flakes of fish. The side of onion rings we ordered never turned up and when challenged a scruffy 'waitress' was sent to make excuses on the 'chefs' behalf saying there were extra on the plates.... we had 5 between us which looked like they had been cut from a shallot. Upon expressing our discontent we received nothing but contempt. Food aside is it any better... no, tables are sticky, decor is run down, there isn't even any toilet paper in the toilet! Avoid at all costs.

Lovely meal again this evening, chicken wings as starters, sausage and mash main course, salted caramel desert, washed down by well kept

Food was excellent. Definitely will return. The atmosphere is something you create with the company you share! Brilliant. An amazing day!

First visit to this pub was Christmas Dinner with the inlaws. Very nice food hot fresh and well presented. Drinks good value and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Christmas Day....No sprouts! I like sprouts. Everything thing else was lovely! My only grumble...we arrived at 12.30pm for pre drinks, booked in for 1pm...we were shown to our table immediately and 3 times we were asked if we were ready for starters. However 2 of our party hadn't arrived so we declined. Our party were all seated by 1pm. Our time, but then no one came to asks us again until after 1.30....this meant by the time we'd had our last mouthful, we were being asked to leave as the next sitting were waiting....no time for a coffee or conversation....we lost a good 30-40 mins at the being due to NO service.. Room lovely.....food lovely...staff lovely

Had a party booked for the festive menu. The food was great, it was hot and presented beautifully. Pudding was delicious. The staff we exceptionally friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this pub for a meal and will be coming back again soon.

Went in today for the Christmas Fayre meal with some dear friends. As always the food was excellent, the staff were very friendly and the drinks superb. The atmosphere in the pub was friendly and welcoming. Our table was laid to match the meal we were having. Well done to team Seven Stars.

Ordered a mixed grill, not the best. Steak (medium rare), was tough like shoe leather, gammon tough as well, chicken was dry not tender. Worst meal I’ve had from there, such a shame

We popped in Saturday afternoon just for a few drinks. We had a couple of Banks’s sunbeam which was very nice. The atmosphere in the pub was friendly and relaxed. We enquired about Sunday lunch, normally on till 6pm but as there was a party on this Sunday it was finishing early at 4pm. We booked a table for 3pm. Sunday lunch was very good. Just enough on the plate. Veg cooked just right and beef very tender. Delish!

Had lunch time meal it was very nice we had 4 Meals 2 gammon 1,steak and I BBQ chicken we had lovely lunch cooked and served to perfection we will be back in the seven stars soon a little a back ground music 🎶 was all that was missing 👍👍👍

Mixed grill was really greasy. Ordered as a healthier choice , had to mop it up with my napkin. Staff were nice.

Had the best veggy burger tonight. Really tasty. Staff were very welcoming and the whole pub had a fab atmosphere. Will definitely be back. Oh and the chocolate brownie was very nice as well.

Haven't been in for about 3 years after an absolute terrible meal we discovered there was a new landlord so thought we would check it out the food was excellent portions size spot on everything was fresh and hot will definitely be back soon

Me and the family came here for a drink and some dinner. Never been before, but did not disappoint. Lady behind the bar was very friendly. Lovely and welcoming. Food was very tasty! Will be returning :) family had a few games of pool and darts. Nice homely atmosphere. Thanks again :)

Food is beautiful. Decent choice of bitters. However service was appalling and it's like stepping inside a weatherspoons pub with the decor and smelled musty.

A really great, dog friendly pub with good beer and honest food. Even with a wedding party in, the service was still excellent.

My sisters and I decided to have our catch up here last week after work. We had never been before. We really enjoyed our food - although I'd initially ordered the cauliflower curry, when it came I couldn't eat it as I found it too spicy but the staff were good about it and were happy to offer me something else instead so I opted for the beef lasagne with was lovely. We found it to be a friendly atmosphere and the pub itself is really nice and welcoming. Thank you.

Quality place friendly staff and they really helped us out today sun 18 2023 fathers day struggled to be able to book anywhere but as soon as they had a cancellation they called me and squeezed in a family of 11 the food was amazing especially the fish will 100% return again and again a credit to the chef and all the staff A**********

Sunday roast is awful tasted like it had been microwaved and used mostly frozen food.

Popped in for lunch & would highly recommend. Food was delicious. I particularly liked that the chips were crispy as so many other places only just about cook them. Staff were super friendly too. Will be back again for sure.

Started coming back to the seven stars after it came under new management and wow !😍 We came for Mother’s Day and the Sunday dinner was 10/10, brilliant food and even better customer service from staff ! Ever since Mother’s Day we have been so impressed so have ended up coming every week for their amazing tuna melts, burgers and friendly service. Thank you always!

The Seven Stars is our local pub, my family and I have been coming here for many, many years. We didn’t eat here very often as the food has always been hit and miss. However since Laurie and Chris have taken over the food is fantastic. The atmosphere in the pub has also improved since they took over. Lovely family pub environment. Added bonus; dogs are welcome too! 🤓👍🏻

Really impressed this evening, a nice decor and lovely staff, but not enough on. The only downfall was a very noisy unruly child. Will visit again, and a nice choice for gluten free 😀 👍

Booked a table via their online website for food as live out of area. Arrived and the kitchen was closed and was told they don't even have access to the online website bookings. Maybe this needs to be sorted out for future reference!

Absolutely shocking We where booked up at 14:00 on Christmas day and paid well in advance, turned up and was sat all was good then we heard three tables that where booked in at 13:00 hadn't even had starters yet. At 14:30 people are getting annoyed because they haven't had any food and then we are told the chef has walked out so we are getting no food, this was told to us by a woman who doesn't even work there, not the manager, he was hiding in the kitchen. The manager was an absolute joke, he wouldn't speak to anyone and left all the waitresses to deal with the aggravation from the customers, at this point he was hiding in his office, to be fair to the waitresses they where superb and couldn't do enough for the customers and couldn't apologize enough but there was nothing from him We got a free drink and a full refund but it has ruined our Christmas day as we came out hungry, not good at all.

Why are you taking bookings if upon arrival your bar staff say you cannot accommodate us because the chef left a week ago.. Complete shambles!!

Incredibly slow service, and that really rude habit of deliberately not making eye contact with the customer. If you have a problem just say so. And the Morretti didn't taste as it should.

Not a great choice of drinks unless its lager or cider you drink. But then only a choice of a few from basic well known names. Only had a lunch baguette, but it was very basic in appearance and taste.

Love to go a walk on a night and pop to the pub for a nice pint and sit outside .unfortunately I've visited the seven stars twice lately the staff are friendly but on both occasions ended up sitting outside with a load of loud mouth drunks who obviously can't hold their beer doesn't make for a comfortable atmosphere when you're with your family.wont be visiting again sorry.

Grandson had a gaming bus there for his 9th Birthday and they provided food at end. Couldn't do enough for us, staff very helpful , done a great job. Would definitely recommend this pub. Thank you .

Visited on a Monday night for a meal with my wife. The pub was smaller than I thought, with a decent sized bar area and seating for food at the rear. The decor was a little tired, and for me was a mixture of young families but also quite noisy in the bar area, with singing at 7pm on a Monday night a bit unusual for an eatery. There was a lack of steak and fish on the menu, so choice was limited. Overall the food was reasonably priced and tasted fine. It's okay for a quick meal, but not for a quiet meal, based on a Monday night which I would expect to be more relaxed.

Had a Hunters chicken meal, sparse ammount of salad, chicken was good, not very good value for money, staff were friendly enough

As I live local I attempted a visit with my son who uses a wheelchair but all of the 3 disabled bays were taken up by works vans so we were unable to visit,this wasn't a one off as I drive past 4 times a day every day,spaces are either taken up by parents parking to drop and pick up their kids from school or works vans including T&T window cleaning and wombourne windows amongst others,even when the carpark is virtually empty you will still find works vans parked in disabled bays I'm guessing either to idle to walk or to keep an eye on their vans because of thieves,overall just gives a bad impression

the date was 27/3/22,mothers day. went there on mothers day, with family for a cooked lunch,it was excellant,value for money,waited only 15 minutes and food was on the table,lovely staff,plenty staff,overall great service,great food.

Very helpful. My friend is in a wheelchair and the landlord and staff are really kind and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble.

Called in on spec to celebrate end of self-isolation. We were the only people eating but that didn't worry us; we ordered tomato soup, which was smallish but tasty, and Hunter's chicken, which was very good, so no complaints there. Service could perhaps have been faster (if you are in a hurry) but we were just pleased to sit somewhere different and cosy, and not too noisy!

Called in at The Seven Stars yesterday with my mom and had a lovely meal, cooked to perfection.The chef was a young lad who was so pleasant and his culinary skills were amazing!All of the staff were so welcoming and friendly Will definitely return in the future
