Really pleased with the service tonight. Our booking for a party of 15 at another pub for my step son’s birthday got cancelled very last minute. We were really gutted as we didn’t think anywhere else would take on such a large booking only 30 minutes before we were due to arrive, but they did at the Gig Mill with no hesitation and made for a lovely evening. Thank you to all the staff who were so accommodating and friendly. Great service, great staff.

Where can I start, just wow and I mean wow what an incredible pub since the owners have taken over the pub it has been busy every time I go with an amazing atmosphere amazing staff and the food is exceptional lovely prices for food and amazing service by staff . On a Friday night what a great night is has startling off with a disco then moving on to a lovely night of karaoke with a good old local dj too. Will definitely be going back there and will be recommending to friend and family

Great Pub, Great atmosphere! The new management really have transformed the pub for the better. They have introduced a new lunch and evening menu with something for everybody, all homemade and cooked fresh with reasonable prices! perfect for if you want to leave the dishes to someone else. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Absolutely amazing place! This is my local pub where I come within the week and on the weekend! I fancied a Sunday dinner and had the lamb shank roast potatoes and veg for £14 the lamb fell off the bone I scoffed the lot! Definitely worth a visit. Staff were friendly and helpful, perfect for families such a lovely atmosphere. The gigmill is the place to be now!

Amazing new owners and bar staff. New food menu is a must to try really good quality. Really good atmosphere all round. The best local pub I go in.

Held our parents wake here and Theresa and her team really went out their way to make the day special to all who attended,on a personal note she showed compassion throughout at a really difficult time,thankyou so much 10/10

Lovely welcome, great service and excellent food. Went out of their way to help us as they had wake in at same time. Would definitely recommend these new owners to a pub that is worth resurrecting.

Just came in for Sunday lunch after seeing it was under new management wow what can I say the Sunday lunch was delicious very good value for the price will definitely be coming back

This pub is on the up! Visited with friends for food before going on a pub crawl for the bank holiday! Food was absolutely amazing, compliments to the chef. Pub was beautifully clean and the staff go above and beyond to cater for anyone’s needs. Keep on going and you’ll succeed!

Visited this evening to try the new menu that launched today, ordered the scampi and chips with garden peas,,,, What a delight to have it freshly cooked with chunky chips i might add .. portion size was great and value for money ,, would recommend anyone to try

Visited for the reopening on 8th March 2024, what a difference! Lovely and clean, staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Fabulous atmosphere Explained there's no food yet as in process of deep cleaning the kitchen but should be available shortly. Will definitely be going back.

Hayley and her team were wonderful preparing for my Dads wake at the Gigmil. The food was delicious and plentiful. Hayley even went to the trouble of asking my Dads favourite music and made a play list for us while we celebrated Dads life. I cannot thank you all enough for my Dads wonderful send off!

The gigmills vibe really is unbeatable, as soon as you walk in you feel welcome and the service is perfect. The food is great, it’s a dog friendly pub and it’s under such good management. You really can expect the best from the gigmill.

Thank you to all at the Gigmill, booked the function room for a wake. The staff were very understanding from booking to the actual wake. All aspects of cost and available options were explained. Food provided was ample, even when we said there may be a few more people they said they would provide enough with no extra cost. Thanks for making a difficult day a little easier.

Had a wonderful Santa experience last night. My children seen Santa, played games after and there was arts and crafts for the kids to do. It was an amazing atmosphere and we all had a wonderful time. For a great family Santa experience., the gigmill pub gives you that and much more.

Great pub with a function room at the rear which is often busy with Birthday celebrations. I glanced at the Christmas plans which looked great - especially looking forwards to the Boxing Day drag act!

Hayley and the team helped us celebrate dad’s 80th birthday … providing a fab warm room on a wet November afternoon and lovely traditional catering . Everything id asked for was provided - hot drinks, hot buffet selection, quiet background music:) staff were really friendly, good parking and no pressure to leave at a certain time. Brilliant value for money. Would definitely use again for family’do !!

Worked for Wilko such a sad time for us all we were approached to be given a back room , Dj , a free buffet and 20% off all drinks as a thank u and a lovely gesture as they felt we had all been treated unfairly .. other pubs offered us free drinks which was appreciated obviously but The Gigmill went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing last night … lovely pub lovely people great atmosphere …. In July we attended the gigmil for my sister in laws wedding reception. I could not fault the pub or the staff for their exceptional service and help they provided on the day! The function room had plenty of space and there was even disabled access to all amities as my other sister in law is in a wheel chair! It is priced fairly and again the service was always with a smile and it a laugh. Exceptional service! Will defiantly be returning for any future events as it is also family friendly for all occasions

First time back in here for a lot of years, enjoyed the food, liked the relaxed atmosphere and proper down to earth staff. Happy enough to book my 50th there so says it all really. Will definately be making more of an appearance here, keep up the good work guys 👍🏻👍🏻

I love this pub, our local and our favourite place for pints and a chat, we love getting absolutely hammered here, the staff are so friendly and the atmosphere is second to none. The prices are great and the music is always banging, would highly recommend to anybody - I would get a flight from America to go here no word of a lie , I’m here right now!

Great service from Hayley at a quiet, local Sunday lunch venue. Reasonably priced food that was well cooked and enjoyed by our group. The gammon and chips looked great, but I had a jacket potato with vegetarian chilli and thoroughly enjoyed it. The puddings were very nice too and I would recommend the blood orange brownie with ice cream. The highlight was the customer service though.

I booked a function here, I was out of my element and it wasn’t something I wanted to organise, Hayley took the time to speak to me, my mother and helped us through everything. She was very polite and caring. She not only took the time but the food prepared was delicious, my mother raves about the bloomers used for the sandwiches. Honestly can’t recommend enough

My son and daughter in law booked a Buffett today at the gigmill for our grandchildrens christening ..plus het friend had her son christened as well ..Think there was 60 plus people ..food cost about 400.00 ..very basic Buffett and not very good quality ..They have had to ask for more food to be put on ..not good enough ..I would not recommend ....plus not many staff on to cope with the bar. ...shame as a special day for us being the christening ....Think you should get it right first time or do n't bother ..it's a bit unfair to families in these hard times .

Had the hunters chicken the chips were like nail pickings and the chicken was white and dry with no flavor what so ever ! Doesn't even deserve a star tbh .

Drinks fine but spoiled by car revving on car park very off-putting and made it feel a bit run down . Pub seemed welcoming and dogs welcome so that’s good but need to stop the anti social element

We ate here at the start of the year. Very standard interior, tables were sticky and the staff didn't seem bothered about serving. Food very bland, microwaved. It's completely what I expected with the food, but you tend to get it made up with friendly...

Been here today although saying on there web page they are doing the 50% off it was not on so faulse advertising. Food and sevice was good though

On my recent visit found staff are friendly and helpful however the decor and furniture was dated worn .needs refurbishment and windows need replacing or even cleaning .

A small and old fashioned looking pub. Easy access from Stourbridge and surrounding area. Looked to have a great choice of beers. Was actually at a reception function at the rear and the finger food was excellent. This rear room has Pool and darts facilities. Excellent parking and an outside smoking area.

Attended awake on Monday 16th, disappointed the food was sub standard not much choice and the sandwiches were dried up and hard on the crusts, shame really as it local pub to us.

Had a 30th birthday party - they were very accomodating, put on a dj and went above and beyond for us! Would recommend anyone having an event to go here! Made the birthday boy feel very special
