The Cottage Spring Pub in Dudley

Nice people that frequent the pub but the glasses are often dirty and some of the staff don't seem happy to be there. Service is painfully slow. . It's recently been taken over and it seems there's good going to be served. Maybe it'll improve. The tasters provided were very good.

New owners are shocking when it comes to stock. Had to have my.third choice when ordering as no.jd, no Gordon's, no tonics, no diet.coke.. atmosphere was ok. Pub was I'm need of a clean. Loads of undesirable youth outside..would not recommend

Very good food a good portions. Nice place to eat.

Don’t even deserve a star. Absolutely disgusting. Paid for decorations for room for them to not even ask if we wanted to keep them. Took them down way before finishing and popped all of the balloons including the balloon arch that as you know is a lot of money. Kept rest of decorations for them selfs. Let people who wasn’t even apart of party eat the food we had paid for. Let people sniff coke in their toilets. Management is disgusting. Chucked us all out in the cold wouldn’t let us just wait for taxi as we had kids that were sleeping said they didn’t care. Supposed to be a dj but wasn’t it was just a CD playing. Asked if they could play happy birthday for the birthday girl kept saying no sorry then played it for a regular in the rooms whos party it was not even for. Roll there eyes if you ask for anything also speak about you. Wouldn’t surprise me if they spat in your drink never using this S***hole again.

Sunday lunch! Made to feel very welcome, ordered a drink took a seat. The carvery smelt lovely, we ordered 2 medium/ standard size carverys £10 each. We went up they served you to all your food, plenty to choose from (veg), 3 meat, roast +mash spuds and the trimming. Well you get plenty of meat and your plates piled high, nice gravy too. Will be definitely going back also they deliver. Would recommend you give it a try yourself 🙂

Friendly people, friendly owners, will defo go back in for drink, will be trying the food too soon. 🙂

Hi, I asked for a pint of John Smith's beer, didn't have any. So I ordered two other beers on tap, didn't have any. Had to make do with bottle beers. Wanted a glass of port didn't have any.asked for a southern comfort didn't have any.dont waste your time sorry.

Really slow service and not the best facilities, but its in a nice location.

Good cheap drinks and cocktails were really nice.. Staff was nice and was getting involved in our party. Thank you for a brilliant night. (19th June 2021)

Room was decorated lovely beer didn't have half on tap just cans and carvery was lovely but some of the vegetables were cold and the toilets were disgusting will not return until they get these things sorted

Lovely Sunday Roast and the staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough to make our visit a fab experience also they do a lovely pint 😁

Sunday carvery is bang on. Beefs tender and fresh veg, and large portions too. 10 out 10 thanks.

Just moved into the area and having moving in we decided to try the cottage spring (our local pub) for a drink - 6 pints after and bad head the next morning. We will deffo be going again, we was made to feel very welcome and we can't wait to try the carvery on Sunday

The staff r very polite & very sociable the pub as music & a new pool table must visit to see the difference with new management amy & dan

Under new management the beers not so good no atmosphere pretty dull

The cott is a grate place to go it is brilliant I always have a grate time all staff are brilliant the food is grate not had a bad meal yet I love it

Such a lovely place, with great friendly staff! Had a great steak here, cooked to perfection and great value! Have already booked for valentines evening and cant wait x
