Don’t waste your money on this hell hole! The staff are unpleasant using foul language. God forbid you go to the bar and order a drink which distracts staff from their phones. The place is filthy dare I mention bugs, dirty, sticky tables, toilets and please buy a hoover and use it as well as a carpet cleaner! To be met with such attitude in a pub where hospitality should be at its finest, you are met with dirty looks, staff refusing to serve you for god knows what reason, no politeness just rude and self righteous! Such comments submitted to head office previously which I’m sure you will do diddly squat! Your customer service is pathetic and poor! Quick enough to take your money but in return absolutely nothing but disgusting behaviour, language with bullying staff!

My friends and I went to the Red Lion for food and karaoke. We had a fantastic night. Food was delicious. Staff were friendly. Karaoke was brilliant and so was the atmosphere. We shall definitely be returning

Going down hill very fast! Used to be good, but now is being run by kids. Children running riot, while mom gets wasted at the bar.

When my mate said we were coming here I was dreading it. But what a surprise, great furnishings and decor. Great friendly crowd. Superb karaoke system. The deputy manager for super friendly. Only negative, quite expensive for drinks

Had a great afternoon here with great friends and some mad funny people. Children friendly, plenty of space on the car park with flat disabled access. Amazing staff, and will be back

New owners so still a little quiet but staff were lovely and not sure if manager or owner was very pleasant and gave my daughter a free drink as it was her birthday. Never thought I'd go in here again as an older lady now but it really was pleasant and trouble free.

Quick drink before heading elsewhere. Never been before but wood go again. Friendly staff, clean facilities, nice beer garden at the front of pub. No issues

Was a nice pub for us locals under the old management. Think the new management are trying to run before they can walk and clearly are new to the industry. Shame because used to be a proper boozer with great beer. Watch it’s demise

First time I had been in there in many years. It has been renovated very nice. Went there with family on a Saturday afternoon recommend it to anyone.

Good pub for watching the football. Staropramen was nice too. They also put out a Xmas spread for free which was nice

Pub has just had a refurbished and look's great a big improvement also unlike most pubs that do this the beer prices have come down.

Pretty good pub but the hours advertised are false, even the dj was claiming open till 1.00 but at 12.15 everyone was asked to leave.

Very impressed with refurbishment. Very busy today due to Time Trials coming through Sedgley. Everybody was pretty good humoured on the whole even when waiting to be served. Bar staff did a brilliant job.

OK, been done up well. Service was slow and staff really didn't know drinks.

WARNING!! Don’t park at the back of this pub. It looks derelict/run down … but it’s Pay+Display(£100 fine!) … there are no signs at entrance(a GOV. Legal requirement tbh). Big vans park at derelict shuttered back entry - hiding the machine and notice. Manageress has employed Phoenix-Parking.com from Birmingham to run what appears to be a scam to trick people to park here - She told me Appeal processes were all dealt with by Phoenix(fair enough) … when I returned to give her friendly advice P. needed an entrance sign to inform public it was P+D … she refused to to be receptive, muttered something about Martin Lewis(?) and wasn’t interested in info on Gov. uk website on private-parking regs. A heavy guy with tattoos suddenly showed up and asked me to leave more than once in an intimidating way. Tried to talk to them both calmly and politely hoping they could take up the Legal issue with Phoenix so other car parkers/potential customers weren’t caught out by the lack of signage. They refused to even give me 2 mins to explain situation and possibly save them future hassle - not what I expected from a manageress in a customer service industry tbh. Walked out shaking my head in disbelief … no wonder the place looks drab and only opens 3 evenings for a few hours. Customer service skills = zero. Won’t be returning. The only thing keeping this dilapidated joint going is the overpriced drinks and the parking fines. What a rip off!

Lovely pub, the landlady is THE BEST! Super friendly and welcoming. Good beer, fun atmosphere, always playing good music and there's a pool table too.

Not a pub of my choice, old style pub with disco Friday and Saturday night. Likely event of trouble, it's a possibility. Toilets could do with a clean, and punters sitting on pool table with board across it doesn't look good. It's more of a local pub for locals. If you ain't local and your face don't it then your not welcome. Would I go again?? Definitely not.

Not a bad little pub, great for a dance and some throwback tunes. Good selection of drinks on offer too and staff are friendly.

In my youth. Around 25 years. This was one of the best places in sedgley. Great selection of beers and a good place for food. I bet it's still popular with the younger generation today. Great place to meet up with friend's for a great night out or to remenise an old relationship.
