Sea City in Dudley

Plenty of food at good prices. Singapore Chow Mein could be spicier.

Always used Sea City however, very disappointed with most recent order. Told it would be between 1 hour and 1 hour 10. We were OK as we'd ordered at 7pm. Food arrived 1 h 40 mins. Food was Luke warm and chips and ribs cold and very dry. We phoned to complain. Food cooked again and delivered within 15 mins. We had gone beyond hungry by this point. Chips and ribs still very dry. Won't be ordering again which is ashame as Food has always been amazing.

Nice little takeaway, nothing special, but not terrible either. They do however do large vegetable spring rolls that remind me of takeaways in the late 80's 👍

Been looking for a good Chinese in the area has have tried a few and all were very average. A friend recommended Sea City and I have to say we were very impressed. Will definitely be my go to now for a Chinese.

Salt and chilli chips used to be the best around not sure if new chefs but the chips where terrible compared to what they used to be. Very disappointing would always rate this place as my favourite Chinese

Best Chinese in Halesowen, IMHO. Consistently good fodder. I've just had a very nice meal with lots left for breakfast.

Poor experience today. I have used the Chinese for a long time, when collecting an order from them today the order was wrong I called them and got told they would rectify this it took over 30 mins for the driver to bring this back after that I checked the bag and they’d sent the wrong item of food again I called the Chinese and told them again what had happened and wished to have a refund to be rudely told I could have £15 of my money back and to not order from them again and shouting and screaming down the phone to me! This is an appalling way to treat loyal customers ! Avoid at all costs!!!

When it first reopened it wasn't very nice, but tried it again and it alot better started to use it again know.

Consistently good food. I've been using Sea City for at least seven years and hand on heart, I've never had poor quality food from here. Staff are friendly and helpful, collection times are always accurate, I wouldn't think of going anywhere else, the whole family loves this food.

Great food and customer service every time

I moved from Birmingham kings heath over to Halesowen and in my time have tried various Chinese takeaways. This is one of the best! Best and favourite in Halesowen. I would recommend anyone to try it out. *Very friendly people/workers *very clean *Good pricing *very good food which is very hot I have made at least 6 orders before reviewing and definitely recommend

Lovely food, tasty and always piping hot but if you want any 'extras' in your meal they charge a fair bit. House special curry comes without any prawns, mushrooms or peas and they charge extra if you ask for them..... should come as standard really like other places do. It's walking distance for us so main reason we use them.

Always ordered from this Chinese for years the two last orders I've received very disappointing the food seems to be warmed up chicken and egg fried rice was over cooked and hard like rubber very poor and risk of food poisoning

Ordered over the phone and collected 20 mins later… food was hot and fresh and tasted absolutely beautiful! Easily the best Chinese I’ve ever tasted. Would definitely recommend. Try Beef and mushroom in black bean sauce. You won’t be disappointed.

I find sea city a pleasant establishment that is always willing to help and on occasion the younger members of the family will put on a show whilst you are waiting for your food

We’ve been using this place for the last 3 years now & have tried a few other Chinese takeouts but none compare to how good the food is here. We’ve never had a bad meal & all cooked lovely. Really nice family run place & they work very hard to keep the customers coming back 10/10 to you guys

Had a chow mein salt pepper king prawn and chips food was awfull would not fed it to a dog!!! Staff are very rude definitely wouldn't ordee from these again

I read some bad reviews on the curry so was wary. The Cury was AMAZING full of flavour. The pancake rolls are the best I've tried and they are fried with some batter. Staff are so lovely. Definitly my new local 😊

Just collected a takeaway from the front door of Sea City, oh my goodness how good was the food! Fresh, hot, very tasty and prepared in less than 15 minutes. I really enjoyed it. Well done Sea City!

Have visited this takeaway for years since a child. It has recently changed hands and it is still as great as ever. And the female owner is very friendly! Lovely food and service!

Being going here a sometime and believe they are New owners, went tonight and had a sweet sour chicken as I can’t have anything spicy due to allergies and I’ve been left with reaction as there was spice in the food. Worst sweet and sour ever tasteless with a dark colour not your usual red colour. Has put me off ever going back.

Have used sea city for many years, never again, 1hour 20mins for delivery when quoted 45 mins, food tasteless and Luke warm curry sauce not up to usuall standard, have heard it's been taken over, so time to find another Chinese!

Excellent service and great food

Have used this takeaway for years, but not had one in recent months. Ordered chicken curry x2 with egg fried rice with an extra curry sauce. This came to 19.10 . Food arrived inedible was like eating pure salt, is now in my bin. Contacted restaurant and got no joy. They say that people like it that way. It was a heart attack in a carton. Did not ask for a refund just told them will not be using them again.

First time ive used this takeaway, and I must congratulate them on such a delicious meal. Will definitely be back, and its worth recommending
