4 large Chips, egg fried rice and curry sauce in a tray 17.00. Trays am crammed and was gorgeous with some spice. Perfect for a quick fix after a cold night out with the fam 😁

Just had takeaway from here as normal after few drinks with friends sadly will not be using again curry not so great chips missing from order tasted revolting also finding black hair in my chowmein!!! Won't be returning after using for many years!!

Order from here regularly but last 2-3 times the food has been vile. Sauce is as thick as mud and chicken was pink inside so had to be thrown. Chips either over cooked or undercooked or two mixed together. Think I shall find another Chinese to order from in the future

Not badly priced food, plus it's very nice so far. Only been twice but it has been good.

My daughter is coeliac and we went to gornal dynasty last week and was told what she could eat. Time was taken to discuss her food and she felt reassured that she was having gluten free food. After visiting again this evening my daughter was told that the food she had last week was in fact cooked with food with gluten and wasn’t gluten free. This kind of cross contamination has major health implications for someone who is coeliac. I’m extremely disappointed with gornal dynasty’s incompetence and ignorance.

Possibly the worst Chinese I’ve ever had from here the last 1 I had wasn’t the best but tonight’s was vile. Rice and beef had no flavour and the curry sauce tasted like oil and mushroom. Time for a change I think.

First and last time trying here. Chips hard and dry, expensive, the colour of the chow mein was very strange I’ve never seen it like this from any Chinese before.Bland and tasteless, a no from me, curry sauce strange taste and hot as hell. Looks like a salt and chilli kit made from Iceland or farmfoods. Very shocking for the price

Food was nice and hot, I had the 3 in 1 Rice, Curry sauce & chips, reasonably priced, but the curry sauce didn't taste the same not sure if they have changed different owners or a different chef

Had a takeaway from here when I was handed the bag I thought what is that horrible smell ,when I got home and put it on the plate the same smell hit me it wasn't very nice and it tasted even worse. Sorry but it was absolutely disgusting wouldn't ever go there again .choose somewhere else.

Not the best tonight certainly gone very poor. Chips tasted terrible. Not much meat on the ribs. Curry gone very spicy and beef very chewey. Will need to look at others places to order from I'm afraid.

Friendly service and on the whole good food. PLEASE, PLEASE upgrade your phone system as terrible when trying to place an order. Online website could be better too. Internally, it could do with a refresh and a lick of paint.

A regular here but recently it’s been a disappointment! Chips are old, hard, cold and uneatable, chow mein same, old noodles tasteless! But me right off this place! This has happened a few times now so time to find a new place. Why are you doing this to regular customers and serving last nights left overs????

I had a set meal and let me tell you! I think I've left a crater in my toilet. My stomach was so bad, my toes were crippling onto the floor my hand gripping the onto any surface I could find. But hey maybe I'll eat there again next week for a different experience, or maybe it was just me , you never know. Anyways I'll think I'll have the salt and pepper chicken next time.

Great place, very clean and tidy when you walk in with all the relevant certificates on display, all staff wearing the appropriate PPE, the food was very hot and very tasty with generous portion sizes and a free bag of tasty prawn crackers. Fast service too, will be returning

Ordered food previously , food is nice but delivery takes soooo long ! Ordered tonight , 2 1/2 hours later after 2 phone calls we got our order and there were items missing 🤬 called them, they said they would send it asap , half hour later still no sign. Obviously taking on more orders than they can cope with . Will not be using them again !

Used this chinese for quite a while and always found the food really nice.

Had to wait well over 2 hours for delivery. When ordered told it would be one to one and a half hours. After that time called to see where it was. Told is was just being bagged and would be 20 minutes. Called again after a no show and was told it would there in 5 minutes! Finally arrived and mentioned to the driver how long we had been waiting. He said we would be better ordering on a Friday night or a delivery on Saturday night!!! 😂 Food was average and not worth the wait.

Not as good a Paradise up the road, only went back there as Paradise was closed. Used to go regularly until I found Paradise on Limepit Road. Go there instead of Gornal Die-nasty you can pay on card there too.

Fast delivery, lovely fresh food.

We had this place recommended to us and we do not order from anywhere else . The food is always outstanding quality. Today I tried the king prawn curry which in the past from other local providers you are lucky to get more than 3 prawns with a disappointment in flavour. NOT from Dynasty it was full of king prawns and bursting with flavour. Well worth however long it takes to deliver. I would recommend DYNASTY all day long

Just take in to consideration that this place doesnt understand allergen guideline, I ordered a meal and specified NO PORK, yet recieved a meal with ham pieces. When I asked what meat it was she casually replied 'oh, that's ham' explaining that I didnt specify what type of pork I didnt want. Not even an apology because it was my fault that I never said what type of pork I didnt want

Ordered from this place a few times. Food is nice but ordered some food tonight and last time ordering the they forgot to put my sweet and sour sauce in. I rang up to complain and was told that next time we order they will give us some free chicken balls for the inconvenience. Surprise surprise they don't recall telling me that. Just offered me them half price instead. Defo won't be going back there

Just bought 3 large spring rolls which were very nice, but the price increase works out at 28% £1.80 to £2.30. Admittedly haven't been there during lockdown but the increase looks mostly across the board. So 2 course meal with extras would now cost almost £10 more. That's a 30% increase.

Took over 2 hours for a chicken curry, chowmein & chips, only got delivery after l called. Food was cold, had to microwave it which wasn't great when it contained prawns, chips fell over the floor because they'd been in the bag for so long. Maybe its because l ordered online for the below average service or maybe they need to stop the online service to cope with the orders. The phone line was also terrible when l called. I ordered at 17.18 on New Year’s Eve for delivery, I was told 1 hour 45 minutes, at 19.30 I still had not received my order, I tried ringing them many times but kept going to voicemail. I left a message asking about my delivery, nobody got back to me and I never received my order, so no tea for us on New Year’s Eve. A disgrace

First time we have used Gornal Dynasty and I have to say I have mixed feelings. I booked the delivery for 6.45 to give me time to get home but the driver turned up at 6.15 amd said that he hadn't been given a time. There was no or little spring onion in the chicken with spring onion and ginger and no taste of ginger but an overkill of normal onion. The crispy beef was brilliant but the spring roll had the oddest taste. Wish I could give a better review but will try again and do a new one if things are better.

Ordered for over a year with these and always been a1. Last week and this week has been shocking been told 1 1/2 hours which then turns into 2 1/2 hours!! Never had this problem in the past but the past 2 weeks are shocking. Will be our last visit here after tonight!!! Its a shame because food is really good.

Best Chinese takeaway in the area

Ordered yesterday, very friendly member of staff on phone and patient considering I was havig signal trouble and it cut twice. Ordered the special curry, beef curry, lemon honey chicken, finger sized pancacke rolls and banana fritter, it arrived half an hour earlier than time given, nice driver, who placed it in entrance way, portion sizes were very good, tasted lovely, and good size pieces of meat in the curry, and arrived in re-usable plastic containers. I also liked the fact that for the lemon chicken and the fritter, the sauce came seperately so the batter was nice and crispy.

Good food. Fast service. Good prices

My parents are Jamaican born, very fussy when it comes to food from other cultures. I took that fussiness from them. Hence why I didn't try Chinese till I was in my early 30s (I'm 48 now) this is the absolute best that I have tasted. I compare all Chinese takeaways to this one. They never match up. When family and friends visit, if on a weekend I'll order from here. Job done. They always ask me for this number when they go home. Brap. Gornal Dynasty; your the best.

Best Chinese round here and I'm fussy! Foods always hot when delivered and tastes beautiful never had a bad one from there! We usually order chicken curry and egg fried rice and the boyf has chicken balls with curry sauce.

Food great very busy shows how good it is could do with some heating whilst waiting to collect food

We have used this takeaway about once a week for many years, always being served a consistently high standard of food. HOWEVER, we've noticed lately that standards are undoubtedly slipping. Possibly there is a difference in the quality of food that is prepared by different chefs but the food is no longer excellent. 3 sirloin steaks that were tougher than boot leather, chips that have been reheated after being left in fat, chicken wings that were all bone and no meat, congealed curry sauce, watery, unfresh stirfried broccoli.... Sadly a weekend delivery from Gornal Dynasty is no longer the treat it once was.

Food for Four Last night we sampled; Four Seasons a chef's special, Chicken Curry, Sweet, and Sour Cantonese Chicken and Chicken Chow Mein with Mushroom Fried Rice, Egg Fried Rice and a variety of pancake rolls. Nobody could mark their food down even a point. Every thing was beautifully cooked and the tastes were spot-on! Quantities were very good and it left a generous lunch for two today. Go there, eat, be happy.
