Hasbury chippy in Dudley

Asked for no cabbage yet it was covered in it - also food was cold on delivery - noticed on the app he delivered elsewhere before us

Food was great would have liked salad or onions on the wrap but v good

Chippy was very busy very friendly atmosphere first time using sorry wasn’t impressed with food it was cold

Meal delivered on time fish and chips were of a high quality.Just eat drivers reliable and polite.

The men need to do more instead of standing there talking. The girls are wonderful but overworked because of the attitude of the men.

Ordered a medium chips, got half the sack of potatoes i think - you beat me, great food very fresh very hot, nice and easily accessible to get to as well

Brilliant service and food. The chips and kebab weren’t dripping in oil like some chip shops and everything was fresh.

Food was terrible. Donner meat was like chewing leather. The chicken meat was tasteless. Overall one of the worst chippy meals I’ve ever eaten.

We ordered a fish and chips and it takes almost one hour to arrive which made the food far less delicious. Please ensure the delivery time as it is much more delayed

Great scampi and chips today. Shame my tub of beans was missing from my order 😔 Their just eat menu needs sorting out as there’s always so much that’s unavailable that I’m not sure if it’s even supposed to be there. Also there’s no option to order a single saveloy or a scallop etc when I know they do them

Not for me, ordered battered chips on both meals both came plain , chips very hard and soooo undercooked also no salt and vinegar. battered sausage poor batter wasn’t nice at all . Curry sauce lovely. Won’t be ordering again unfortunately

Unfortunately mix kebab was extremely disappointing and cold, chips so so, tasted ok to some extent but way too expensive for what I have got from there. Sorry guys improvement required.

Kebab meat was cold and barely any salad. One of the worst doner kebabs I’ve had. Shop full of staff, mostly mucking about and not focused on their customers. Not a good experience and put off going back.

Absolutely disgusting to find plastic in your food I suggest a inspection from the food hygiene standards wouldn’t go amiss, won’t be using again AVOID

Chips portion with the meal deal was tiny! Curry sauce inedible, tasted like perfume. Food was cold when it arrived. Not great, last time I ordered the chips weren’t cooked they were still hard in the middle, think we will find another chippy.

Delivery was quick and food arrived hot. Very few chips with the large cod considering the price and asked for battered which they were not. Asked for all 3 meats on my mixed meat and chips but didn’t received them, only 2 and this has happened 3 times. The food was lovely just a shame about the few issues.

The food is pretty good, although the quality has gone down in the last few months. The price has gone through the roof. I know things have generally gotten more expensive but £13 for a large fish and chips is ridiculous. Sad really.

Used this Chippy for years and it's always been the best but this last 6 months it's not been as good. Don't think I'll be ordering from them again . Food is very dry and almost cold on delivery.

Closes at 9pm, I know I'm old skool and chippy's used to be open until the pubs closed and that 9pm is a normal closing time nowadays but when you turn up at 8.40pm and the cabinets are empty and the 3 staff standing around won't cook a tinned roe for you it is a very disappointing waste of a journey resulting in no dinner.

This place used to be the best chippy in the area but how things have changed, prices have gone through the roof, service has gone through the floor and the quality has gone in the bin Just had a scollop and Rowe they were cut so thin that you could see daylight through them Won’t be using this place again

Awful place. Have been on few occasions once where the chips weren’t cooked properly, and other times part or Order missing. You can’t pay with card which I can’t see displayed anywhere which is inconvenient. Staff don’t even acknowledge you when you walk in or waiting until they serve you. Cabinet 99% empty. Ridiculously over priced. Food isn’t great. All in all I wouldn’t recommend.

Earlier on the evening I attended this family-owned outlet, one of the customers apparently announced she was approaching the fiftieth anniversary of her first visit (the current manager is the son of the original owner). The fish I had was lightly battered, and the chips crispy. Please note this outlet is cash only (unless you order online).

45 minutes late and cold when arrived

Food arrived late (driver stopped at 2 other addresses first) and the wrong food was sent, I had to drive to swap an item for the correct order

Chips were cold when arrived and didn’t taste ‘fresh’ One meal was supposed to have battered chips but plain were sent instead. They need to sort out their ‘Just Eat’ menu as so many items incorrectly input and things on their normal menu missing on Just Eat

Great food an impressive veggie options

So a few months back I had food that we collected from this chip shop that had a huge hair in it! Long dark, I’m blonde with short hair. It’s disappointing because not only does it put you off eating, you then have to get back in your car and return and wait again to have this matter resolved !! I gave this chip shop a second chance last night because let’s face it, these things can happen at times, but you would hope few and far apart! No! Last night once again I opened my food to get another long hair ! It’s just disgusting! Make your staff wear hair nets because this is awful. I could not even be bothered to return, we had already waited ages for food.

The food was look warm and obviously been hanging around. The fish was the toughest I have ever had. Even the dog who loves fish, left it. The service was very slow. I am not a person who likes to complain and have had good food from them in the past, however, I will never go there again.

Never ever order from here. I had to physically take the food back it was that bad!

Obviously not the drivers fault but just eat need to sort out there estimate delivery times

Food was within the time and two of the three items ordered were lovely/correct but they sent doner meat instead of chicken tikka which was disappointing.

Only fault is website needs sorting out not an option to pick what pie you want with pie and chips special

Such a shame the prices have gone through the roof, and I can understand, but come on, mixed meat kebab with salad gone from £5.90 to £7.50, you must be kidding.

Been here plenty of times, food excellent. Staff polite and well organised. Food always on time. Would 100% recommend.

My order has been wrong on three different occasions now, I haven't said anything before but enough is enough. I know it's only small things, but that makes all the difference to your meal. Basically I will try another chip shop in the future. I personally wouldn't even give the above one star but I have no choice.

Really disappointed went over the weekend for food waited nearly 25mins in a queue that only had 4 people in it service was so slow kids are inexperienced rude and all they are interested in is gossiping and messing about not serving customer loads of staff and no idea what they are all doing. Food when came was all ‘cooked fresh’ was my explanation on why it was so long. My large cod could of broke a window it was that hard the batter on it. Won’t be returning.

Ordered online,after paying was advised to pick up in 40 mins,tbh I would have cancelled and gone closer to home but there was no cancellation option We were a little disappointed with the quality,the food was very dry and the chips are on the large side so hard to digest.

Not bad. Chip shop food plus home made curry and chilli. Fish good but a bit greasy. Chips very average.

Sadly we are really disappointed, hoping this was a one off bad performance. Tikka meat was so dry it was crispy and the chips were not what I would called battered chips. Portion size was questionable, I would argue it was under size for the price paid. Not what we are used to from Hasbury chippy. Delivery driver was the only saving grace, he gets 5*

Fairly regular customer who doesn't complain but wow what happened tonight Hasbury??? Large fish tonight and literally 90% was batter where was the fish? These aren't cheap meals now and with that you expect some quality. Generally all the food tasted like it was reheated from lunchtime. VERY DISAPPOINTED, sorry but have to be honest

Very busy as you can imagine being one of the best chip shops in halesowen. Very nice food, Very clean, Good service.

Sorry but the mushrooms were overcooked and a scallop was missed off the order.
