All friendly and the food is so nice we usually have fish and chips and sometimes kebab wrap salad it fresh we order and eat at home

Ordered from this place weekly for the past 18 months, great service with polite staff and well mannered. Tried numerous items in the menu and all delicious at great prices. Will not go anywhere else!👍

Ordered fish & chips and chicken recently and it gave me and my partner food poisoning and diarrhoea. Chicken tasted stale and old and not fresh and I don't know if the chips and fish were fried in old oil. Absolutely disgusted and will never order food from this place again.

£14.70 for two pie and chips and one roe on its own . All was stone cold . Don’t bother

Well orded large cod, regular chips and mixed kebab meat. Wow wow . Kebab meat was real high quality. The cod took me back years. Reminded of fish in Cornwall, lovely tasting and nice crisp batter. Had it delivered, it was lovely and hot. Thank you golden fry.

Omg, they just don't listen to anything you ask them for. Just serve whatever they feel like. Oh well 15 quid down but the beans on toast I did myself was OK 👍

Nice chips I had the mixed meat and chips was top notch.

Food was very greasy. The batter on the fish looked anaemic. The oil needs changing as there are little bits on everything and like a dark tinge on all the food. The oil must be months old. The chips need to be cooked better was all a sloppy mess. This just didn't taste clean. There are much better Chip Shops about now.

Ordered food took 1 and half hours to arrive after calling. Then, to be disappointed with our food.... chips wasn't cooked the best, chicken nuggets we're recycled meat and that hard you could put a window through with them, the salad on the mix kebab meat was awful soggy and brown lettuce didn't help the chicken meat on the tasted terrible, bland but also like the meat was off. No further orders from me.👎

It’s a hit and miss with this chip shop, some times great service and lots of chips, next time hardly any chips. Pies are over heated or reheated, I noticed different staff every time I go in too

Average fish and chips shop with pizzas, Donna kebabs, pies and sauces. The last time I had a delivery with them, they were good. No complaints. Fish was nice and the chips were good with their gravy. OK for price with me.

Food ok for what you paid, but now prices are beginning to creep up every week and the delivery costs have shot up.

I have just been with my partner to get something quick for tea, never again, I had a pie and God only knows how long it had been heated for, it was dried out and like a brick. It should have been disposed of, I'd say at least 30 minutes prior. They know how long it's been sat there for, so I suppose that's why they can close for a month to go on holiday. Zero waste, just sell dried out food 🤷‍♂️

Popped here recently while visiting a friend's house and found them to be really good. I live near two excellent fish and chip shops so I'm usually disappointed when trying somewhere else but that wasn't the case here. Had a mixed kebab in naan and a portion of chips. The chips were really fresh, lightly battered and tasty. The kebab meat was fresh and not overly greasy and the naan bread was probably one of the best I've had in a long time! Would highly recommend for anyone living in or visiting the area.

Ordered cheese pizza and pepperoni pizza with chips and kebab & chips - kebab & chips were completely fine, pizzas tasted as if they had been pre cooked and heated when they needed to be delivered. Also missing a can of Pepsi.. first time ordering from here, definitely won’t be ordering again.

Just had my 2nd pizza from Golden Fry and it was as tasty as the first! Plenty of topping and loads of cheese 😛😛

Best Punjab meat around lovely on a big nann bread.

Decent chippy. Really good chips and pizza. Large fish is not large. If you like spice the punjabi wrap is 👌

This place is absolutely disgusting, the manager or whoever answered the phone is rude. Unhygienic and unpleasant food. Disappointing customer service cant even speak proper English. I would not even give it a 1 star rating.

Would give this place 3.5 if allowed to. I'm not going to round up to 4 otherwise it wouldn't be a fair reflection to future customers. Reason for my score 1. Not a fan of the telephone mannerisms as the lady who answers is always very abrupt whenever I have called. 2. Donner kebabs are great as are the chips. However, I had a fish tonight and I have to say it is nowhere near the standard of Tasty Plaice (Sedgley) or Hardy's Fish Bar (Parkfields) even though the price is!

Had a delivery. Battered sausage was truly battered but with scrap of batter on pie was nice just half tub of salt. The roe I thinking you must of forgot and left it on the grill . Because I just donated it to tipping point as a token. Wouldn't recommend. 5 meals ordered 5meals in the bin Wouldn't order again.

Pie was terrible it was cold and tasted like it had been recooked several times most disappointing as the foods been alright from there the past few times

Ordered now 3 times and had one decent meal. Poor quality ingredients and food. Had SF Chicken as part of the order and tastes like it was cooked the night before and just warmed up never had Chicken so dry in my life and the fresh nan breads are anything but fresh
